This weeks cards are two I thoroughly enjoyed making! All sorts on these Prima Apricot Honey paper collection cards. I embossed cardstock ( a technique we don’t see enough of these days..it’s an easy way to add texture to your card) , lace, flowers, handmade resin frames, lace, and assorted die cuts. I have been busy this week putting card orders together and posting around the country.. Always exciting when an order comes through! It has been very cold and wet here ( we never complain about the rain!) so it’s been perfect for cardmaking and I have spent many happy hours at the craft desk. I have been practising my stamping.. next time I will show you some of those cards.. til next time , stay safe…
This week I was working on a project with Mintay Cosy Evening, and I had a few leftovers. Rather than store them away I made a few cards with them. I added nothing to the finished cards…solely the paper, with a little fussy cutting. I am happy to say all scraps have been dealt with! I have spent so many happy hours sitting at my craft desk, I am so glad I have this hobby at this time, escaping to a happy creating space. I have even taken the time to find some of my older stamp sets, and have been embracing inky fingers again! Til next time, stay safe….
Another group of cards I made while I was supposed to be cleaning up the craft room… What can I say, I am easily distracted. After I made the first card ( and these were quick cards…no hunting around for bits of lace and ribbon..everything was found where I was sitting..) I decide that this paper lent itself perfectly to the double zigzag shaped card, so the remaining three were done in that style. I have since filmed a youtube clip showing you how easy this card is to create. You should be able to find the link over there on the right…maybe click on the three little dots… Nathan has been playing with my site so you may notice a couple of upgrades! Til next time, stay safe…..
Some of you may notice a few little changes to my blog.. Nathan has been busy updating, and cleaning ..I guess after over ten years it needed it but hopefully you can still find the things you want to see. Let me know if any of you have any issues! Today’s cards are the final four I made with Uniquely Creative Winter Rose paper collection, and matching collectables. I have added an assortment of embellishments..flowers, fussy cutting, flourish die cuts, pearl strings and ribbon. sad to put this collection away for now but I have new papers to play with!Til next time.. stay safe..

A few more cards made with Uniquely Creative Winter Rose paper collection and matching Creative cuts, laser cuts, some fussy cutting, uniquely Creative Lantern die, flowers and ribbon bows! I added a couple of little clear domes in the centre of the fussy cut flowers. This week I have been doing a lot of stamping. I have lots of stamp sets, some of them never used, and I thought it was about time I got inking. I have been having lots of fun trying some different techniques, and I might even show the public some of them! Til next time, stay safe….
I have spent the last few days at home creating in the kitchen ( cakes…) and the craft room. I am still making cards with Uniquely Creative Winter Rose, with their matching Creative Cuts, and some of their dies as well… flourish ( great for chopping into smaller pieces) and the Frames die. I have done a little fussy cutting, but didn’t add much else..just some sequins on one card and a little ribbon bow on another. Aren’t we lucky to have a hobby that means enforced time at home lets us unleash our creativity! Til next time, stay safe…
