70th Birthday

This card is what happens when I break my golden rule and only buy one piece of patterned paper from a range! I liked this paper, but there wasn’t any other papers from this range left in the shop. I bought it anyway, and when I got home I had nothing to match it. It is a very difficult colour to match, but I didn’t give up and diluted some stampin up rich razzleberry ink and diedĀ  some white flowers and paper and punched out some butterflies. The paper is Bella Allegory ‘Birdsong” and I used c’oredinations cardstock. It ended up looking o.k., but I won’t forget the 2 sheet rule again!Today was photo day, and while Nathan was busy with that I thought I would rearrange my Stampin up cardstock into the new colour groups. That took 2 hours! and seriously cut into my cardmaking time, so not much done today! Til tomorrow….
