Today it has been too cold here in Adelaide to do anything, but sit in my little craft room with the heater on and craft all day, so thats what I did! T omorrow Nathan tells me we will be photographing my last couple of weeks creations,so I’ll have some newer designs to show you all. Todays card – we are back to the male cards, using Crate paper Toy box collection, and I actually brought myself to rip some paper, and I also used Stampin Up cardstock – soft suede. This colour cardstock isn’t a favourite, so you won’t see many of my cards using it, but it did go well with this paper. Til tomorrow…..

Latest cuttlebug card
I’ve had quite a few kids cards lately, so I thought I would break it up and post my latest cuttlebug card, as I know a lot of you visit to see what I have been up to with my trusty cuttlebug. Tonights card relies soley on my cuttlebug, I used white and silver cardstock, a butterfly die, and 2 embossing folders – Couture collections – pinstripe and drifting Endless. I just added a little matching ribbon to complete. I have a couple of days off now, so I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time in my craft room.Til tomorrow….
Boys card
Toy Box Collection
Tonights card is made from paper and border stickers from Crate paper Toy Box Collection. This collection is great for male cards, and I have a few to show you over the next few days. On this card I also used stampin Up cardstock – riding hood red, and basic black. Meanwhile I have been playing with some gorgeous new papers from megs garden, the paper is so good its almost criminal to cut into it, hopefully I will have them photographed to show you next week. Til tomorrow…..
Final Party Animal card
This is the last card in my series of Party Animals cards (for now!). The cardstock is Stampin up, and the images were fussy cut from Kaisercrafts Party Animals range, and the greeting was stamped from the stamps from the same range. Tonight I’m working on a couple of new cards from recently purchased papers, and stamps and hopefully nathan can photo them at the end of this week, so I have something to show next week! Til tomorrow…..
More party animals
I thought we would stay with the Kaisercraft Party Animal paper today, this is my favourite card from this series. I cut out the tent, and penguins, and positioned them peeking out from around the tent. I stamped (stamp from same collection)Â the bunting onto more patterned paper, and cut it out and mounted all of it onto Stampin Up More Mustard cardstock. I’m off now to do a little cardmaking before we go out tonight. Til tomorrow…..
Party Animals
This is the new range of papers from Kaisercraft called party animals. It also comes with a great range of stamps, which I couldn’t resist. On this card I used the balloon stamps to stamp directly onto the cardstock (Stampin up More Mustard) and then also stamped them onto various papers from the 6″ pad and cut them out and stuck them directly onto the stamped image. I fussy cut the elephant from one of the papers, and tied a little string around his trunk. I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the striped paper. today I was over at Paper flourish setting up my July lesson, and saw this months new ranges of Kaisercraft, and couldn’t resist purchasing them. I particularly like the Velvet Ensemble, and used it for my lesson next month. Its great for mens cards, and the matching stamps are great. I’m off to play with my new purchases! Til tomorrow…..
Vintage cameos
I have certainly made good use of my cricut Heritage cartridge, and used it to cut these cameos for this group of cards. The papers are by Melissa Francis, and I love the softness of these new papers. I also used Stampin up and bazzil cardstock, My minds eye lost and found brads, kaisercraft pearls and asstorted lace.Today I have been doing some orders that I fell a bit behind with, but have cleared them, so its back to creating! Til tomorrow…..
Just add lace!
I’ve grown quite addicted to lace – I can’t walk past it in the shop, and whenever I add it to a card it just seems to finish the card off perfectly. this card is no exception. I used stampin up cardstock – Bravo Burgandy, and Prima botanical papers. I cut the blossom with my cricut using the serenade catrridge, and squeezed some liquid pearls ( another new buy, and terrific stuff!) to the centres, some kaisercraft rhinestones, and then just added lace! Til tomorrow….
