Deep Red train stamp

IMG_9385 (Medium)Deep Red Train stamp, this time I heat embossed it with copper powder, and  fussy cut around the image. For the card I used stampin up cardstock, and layered Prima Craftsman patterned paper, and used some wide mesh trim, before mounting the train on top with 3d foam pads. The sentiment is stampin up Itty Bitty banner stamps. Today has been a great day – relaxing in the craft room, and now ready to face the working week tomorrow.. til tomorrow….

teen Male card….

IMG_3696 (Medium)Today I have my mind on young male cards as I have to make one for my nephews birthday, so thought I would post one I made earlier! I used Kaisercraft Attitude paper for the background, and stamped ( Deep Red stamp company) a drum set and just highlighted the image with a gold pen.A bit of paper piercing, and hand sewing and some assorted twine to finish. The nephew in question is not a drummer, so this one won’t do for him, so it’s back to the craft room for me! til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Botanical Tea number 12

IMG_3711 (Medium)I found a couple of graphic 45 Botanical Tea cards that I haven’t posted yet, and nathan and I haven’t done any photo-ing since we have been back from holidays, time just runs away just now, so I thought I would show these in the mean time, until we find a morning to get the camera out. I have layered two pieces of the patterned paper, and used some very slim strips to act as a frame, fussy cut the tea pot and flowers, and butterfly and added a ribbon bow ( as I tend to do!) and some kindyglitz and rhinestones to finish. I have lots of papers I havent created with yet so I am hoping to get into the craft room this weekend if it’s not too cold – it’s a miserable day here today, so it’s not looking good for the weekend! Til tomorrow….

Prima Anna Marie 10

IMG_3705 (Medium)This one is the same sketch as the previous post’s card, I just used a different selection of Prima Anna Marie paper and chipboard. The circle was die cut with spellbinders delightful circls die, and I added a pink ribbon. This week has flown, friday tomorrow, that means the weekend is nearly here, and I can’t wait to do some card making – it seems like ages since I sat down for a serious session in the craft room! til tomorrow….

Prima Anna Marie number 9

IMG_3704 (Medium)When I had the Anna marie paper out to make my box ( last nights post) I made a quick couple of cards with it, and this is one of them – so, anna marie patterned paper, a cirle die and fancy cirle using spellbinders Delightful circle, and some ribbon, chipboard and flower.quick post tonight as tea is cooking! Prima Anna Marie 8

The die cuts were made with spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, and I just added a ribbon bow, and chipboard piece ( also from prima).Once I had die cut the large rectangle I stuck it onto a piece of patterned paper and fussy cut around it to get the different colour underneath. The flourish is by magnolia. I taught a lovely class of ladies this morning, then headed to the shops to replenish my cupboards, as I haven’t had time to shop since we got home from holidays. As usual my break has gone far too quickly and it’s back to work tomorow!Til tomorrow….

Prima bloom stamp, box and card

IMG_3725 (Medium)I am back from my holiday, and it was a lovely break, nice and relaxing, and still in holiday mode, so nothing much has been done here today! Todays card is a card ( on the left) and box on the right. For the card I stamped a Prima bloom stamp and heat embossed it in black embossing powder, then sponged 3 different colours of ink down the card. Added some flowers ( prima) and ribbon and bling to finish. For the lid I used a stamp from Stampin up everything Eleanor stamp set, heat embossed and ink as for the card, and added more flowers – this time Manor House, and ribbon and rhinestones as the finishing touch.Til tomorrow…..

Prima Stationers Desk number 2

IMG_3724 (Medium)A quick post today, as I am finishing off my last minute packing. This is a card and box, card on the left, Prima stationers desk, same as yesterday – hand sewn around the borders, and a piece of lace across the inner layer. The flower is made with the smallest size on the We are Memory Keepers flower board, and the brad is a stampin up vintage brad. I will be away from all my technological appliances for the rest of this week, so no posts until I get back on Sunday. Til then stay well, and we will catch up then!

Prima Stationers desk number 1

IMG_3723 (Medium)A vintage style card today made with Prima Stationers desk paper and matching prima flowers. I handstitched around my papers, and added some lace, organza ribbon and a memory box flourish. The striped piece on the card is cut out using my memory keepers flower maker – I stopped at the first stage, instead of going on and folding it all up to make a flower – I liked the punched effect, just another way to use the flower board if you have one! Til tomorrow….
