Choose your own Adventure part 2..

This week is part of the cards I have made with Choose your own Adventure paper collection by Uniquely Creative. I have added a few bits and pieces…bakers twine, black rhinestones, the matching creative cuts, enamel dots, and gold stars, but in reality they are really simple to put together, its just layer on layer! I have been doing lots of fussy cutting this week because my lovely son gave me 3 collections of Mintay papers for Mothers day.. I think I actually enjoy the fussy cutting more than the crafting, but today I am doing my second favourite thing and that is going through my collection of flowers, lace and ribbon etc to choose what I am going to use with the first collection that I am going to create with …good times! Til next time, stay safe…

Choose your Own Adventure!

This months collection from Uniquely Creative is called Choose Your Own Adventure, and I have been having so much fun making boys and young people type cards. Lots of elements on the papers to fussy cut, and the matching Creative cuts are very handy as well. This paper ideally suits this layer upon layer type of design and I am still learning how to do it, but I am having fun practising! The weather here continues to get colder as each day goes by, perfect crafting weather so I am finding a small amount of time each day to make at least one card just to unwind a little bit. How lucky we are to have a hobby that allows a little escape from busy-ness each day! Til next time, stay safe….

Uniquely Creative Roots and Wings

I have been quite absent from my craft table for the last couple of weeks as my husband has been back in hospital, but he is home now, feeling a bit better and so the crafting can resume! For this series of cards I have used Uniquely creatives new release called Roots and Wings. It has a very vintage flavour, so I have added a frame, some music paper, muslin, and pearls. Til next time, stay safe….
