Always a challenge photographing gatefold cards, hopefully you all get the gist of these ones!Gatefold shapes are fast becoming my favourite as it’s so easy to decorate inside as well, just a piece of matching paper and a greeting .The paper here is the same as last post – October afternoon Make it berry. A release from a few years ago, and I just used some shiny red ribbon and some rhinestones for texture.tomorrow will be the last card with this collection, then onto something new! Still have a lesson to plan out today in the craft room, then I will be back to more Christmas cards! Til tomorrow….

October Afternoon christmas.

I have so much christmas paper. Quite often it happens that I buy the collection but I have already made my Christmas cards, so I keep it for next year, but new paper comes out that I fall in love with.So this year is christmas paper culling time! Of course once I take it out ideas come…this is what happened with this paper. it is October Afternoon Make it Berry and it must be at least three years old.I have made a few cards, and the rest is in a bag ready to move on. I used a stampin up corner punch and ribbon on the top card, and the bottom card just has pretty images layered onto the base paper, and a fussy cut poinsetta decorated with kindyglitz. I taught a full class this morning – yes christmas cards, and I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with everyone! Til tomorrow….
found another Belle Vie card!
Oops! I was all ready to move on to some christmas cards when I found one more card made with Julie Nutting Belle Vie paper (I only purchased 2 papers from this collection)This actually was the last one I made using up the last of the paper.I die cut a scalloped rectangle , and 2 butterflies, inked everything, and added the last of my bead string ( I have bought some more – Kaisercraft make it now, but the length that I have been using came off the dress of a vintage doll)ribbon, bow and sequins to decorate.Early finish from work today, so a bit of time to put my feet up! til tomorrow….
The last three Belle Vie cards

Here are the last three cards I made with my 2 pieces of Julie Nutting Belle Vie paper. The bottom card ( which I have accidentally posted twice!)has a little fussy cutting on it and a metal charm as well, the second card has a paper bow made from a punch I bought from stampin up, and the top card has a little bicycle charm. I loved making this card series as I got to dig through forgotten boxes of bits and pieces to decorate them!I have a new plan – put one of those forgotten boxes on my desk and use them up that way!I have been busy today in the craft room fulfilling 3 orders, and working on a class which is coming together beautifully..til tomorrow…..
Julie Nutting Belle Vie..vintage..
continuing on with the cards I made with a couple of sheets of Julie Nutting Belle Vie papers I layered the first paper, after swiping with Tea Dye ink around the edges, and popped a postcard print from the other sheet on top – It had a lovely image on the left so i just added my greeting ( stamped with a stampin up stamp and fussy cut) behind which i glued some fibre wool. a group of flowers and some old beading to finish! Busy day today, long overdue trip to the hairdresser, and a family picnic in the park thios afternoon – hope the weather holds! Til tomorow…
Belle Vie..
I purchased just a couple of sheets of this collection – Julie Nutting Belle Vie,and this was the first card I made with it. I covered the card blank with a piece of patterned paper and Inked the edges with tea dye distress ink.Using a stampin up stamp and ink I stamped the dress form and fussy cut.All the trims on this card were out on my desk – just bits and pieces and scraps so it was good to use them all! The ribbons were stampin up, the lace and flower prima and some old beading and gauze.A day off today, but busy running errands, and thinking about upcoming classes.I have a few ideas buzzing around and look forward to some time in the craft room this weekend to start them all! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 13, the last..
Todays card is the last one ( for now) in my Kiasercraft Christmas wishes series. The pretty background paper is from the 6″ pad,as is the greeting, and I fussy cut a pointsetta from a piece of 12 x 12 paper , layered it up, and popped it on top of a couple of collectables.Tomorrow we will take a little break from christmas makes, but for now I am off to put my feet up after a busy day at work! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas wishes 11 and 12
Nearly finished the Kiasercraft Christmas wishes series..one more to go after this one! ( for now!)The card on the left is another gatefold,I used the scalloped edge in the 6″ pad, and papers from the same pad to decorate. A fussy cut bauble from a 12 x 12 paper and some gold twine to finish. the card on the left almost looks like it’s from a different collection, but it is still Christmas wishes, and just goes to show how many different styles you can make from this one collection. The good news for today is that I found my camera!! I have also coloured my dogs, and completed my orders,so that just leaves time for some more christmas card makes. Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes number 10..
some
Another Gatefold card today with Kaisercraft Christmas wishes. Today I have used a bit of everything from the collection – 6″ pad for the layers, a piece of the 12 x 12 for the verse inside, some fussy cutting from a 12 x 12 paper for the baubles, as well as one of the collectable baubles, and another couple of collectables on the lower right hand side. This weekend I am looking forward to…doing some orders, making more christmas cards with some new papers, colouring my tim holtz crazy dogs..and finding my camera which has been missing for over a week, and I can’t take any photos in real time and upload them without it!If I haven’t found it by the end of the weekend I will have to buy a new one! Who knew I was so reliant on it? Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes 8 and 9..

For the next few days we will be looking at Kaisercraft Chjristmas Wishes Paper and collectables.Although it is quite a modern colour scheme of lilacs and aqua, I have managed to make a couple of more traditional cards with this range, as shown on the second card. For most of this range I made gatefold cards as they eleiminate the age old question of what about an insert?, as I just line the inside panel with patterned paper and use one of the greetings from the range inside. The papers on these two cards were from the 6″ pad, and I used some collectables from the matching pack. I just added some trim some cost effective cards! A rainy day here , all my shopping etc done and now I am off to the craft room and some relaxation! Til tomorrow….
