Country Roads…

I know that was a strange Blog Post title , but that is the name of this months paper collection from Uniquely Creative, and next weeks cards might explain the title better! I made these cards with the collection because I had an order to fulfill for teenage boys cards . I added some hessian for texture, and a couple of chipboard pieces for the same reason. It’s been another slow crafting week here, with extreme hot weather which is not good for the stability of my glue, but there is a cooler week forecast for us this week and I am looking forward to that! Til next time, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Serendipity part 2..

This week I have a few more cards to show you made with Uniquely Creative Serendipity collection. I have also used the matching Creative cuts, and added all sorts of things! Bling, ribbon. lace, string pearls, sequins, chipboard, doilies and I even did a little stamping and stenciling! I have a few new papers to create with and I am looking forward to finding some time to sit down and relax with them! Til next time, stay safe….

Uniquely creative Serendipity..

January’s paper collection from uniquely creative was a pretty floral collection, and I have managed to make a range of cards from birthday to weddings which will come in handy in my stash.I have also made some simple cards just using the papers, and others that have a few layers and added lace and bling.I have inked the edges on some cards, and left some cards uninked, so lots of versatility achieved too. I have had great fun! It’s been good to have my hobby to fall back on to distract my mind from having my mum andf husband both in hospital at the same time ( both home now and recovering thank goodness) and my dad who is having a surgical procedure next Monday. It’s been doctors visits and hospital visits for the last three weeks, and glad everybody seems to be on the improve. Meanwhile I will keep crafting ! Til next time, stay safe…

A break from Dinosaurs!

Five cards today, all made with one collection..Uniquely Creative Ocean Breeze. This was a great collection because I could make quite a few cards in different categories, and there was lots of fussy cutting potential!I really didn’t add very much to any of these cards, one ribbon bow and a tiny bit of bling. A lot going on here this week, My mum and Husband are both now out of hospital and on the mend, so i might be able to get back to the craft table this week. Til next time, stay safe….

Uniquely Creative Wild ..last two

The last two cards made with the Uniquely Creative Wild collection are a total break from the Dinosaurs, much more feminine and very simple. I used an embossing folder on the top card, and some frondy leaf dies on the lower card. I haven’t done much crafting this week as my husband has been very ill in hospital. He is home now but very weak, so I am playing nurse. The one good thing is we are all out of isolation, so life will gradually get back to new normal. til next time, stay safe….

Going Wild with Dinosaurs!

I have had great fun creating a huge range of Dinosaur cards with Uniquely Creative Wild paper collection. There are many images to fussy cut and I have added little bits of colour here and there. I have two little Great nephews and these cards are perfect for them! As for life here we have two more days of self isolation, all tests have come back negative, and I am in dire need of hitting the supermarket! Til next time, stay safe….

Uniquely Creative Wild part 1..

This week i have created a few boys cards, with Uniquely creative Wild paper collection. I have added chipboard stars, the matching creative cuts, and a couple of the Wild flairs. The third card is a step card, a design I hadn’t done for a while, so thought I would revisit! here at home we are up to day five of our self isolation after the return from Sydney of my husband and son. It is terrific to have them back, but didn’t realise how small my house is. Crafting will keep me sane…. til next time, stay safe…

Uniquely Creative Dreamer Part 3…

Two final cards today made with uniquely Creative Dreamer paper collection. For the first card I die cut a file die ( UC brand) and decorated inside and out. the second image shows the inside decoration. The third image is a very simple card using some of the matching Creative cuts that are available with this collection. I have thoroughly enjoyed making these pretty in pink cards, next time there are some for the boys! Happy new year to all…Til next time, stay safe.

Uniquely Creative Dreamer part 2…

The images in this paper collection are so cute, I’ve done a little fussy cutting, and I had these white cardstock frames on my desk from another project which I thought would make a great start on a couple of shaker cards. I used Acetate for the windows, and filled with uniquely Creative craft sprinkles. I haven’t made shaker cards before, but I am happy with the result.Well, that’s Christmas over for another year, and a strange one it was. My husband was over in Sydney with one son, while I stayed here in Adelaide with the other. The good news is just a week until they are back here with us, and we will celebrate then! Til Next Time, stay safe……

Uniquely Creative Dreamer part 1..

I oreder an Advent kit from Uniquely Creative..there are 25 envelopes in it and you open one each day. The first envelope was this gorgous Dreamer paper collection, and these cards have been made with the first few envelopes. the second envelope was matching creative cuts. It is great fun opening an envelope with crafting goodies every day but I admit I opened them all at once! Dont judge me – I couldn’t resist! But in keeping with the spirit of the game I am only using the relevant envelopes so that I dont give away any surprises. The last card here is a slimline card. Now to the exciting news ..my son Daniel is coming back from Sydney to live here! He accepted a job offer here in his home town, and so i have been clearing out my card room/ craft storage area so that he can stay with us until he settles back home and gets his own place so at the moment most of my craft equipment is in the shed. Oh well, a very small price to pay to have him safe at home again. Til next time, stay safe ….
