Kaisercraft Curiosity collection number 5

IMG_2986 (Medium) IMG_2986 (Medium)Still liking this paper a lot! I have combined the 6″ pad and a sheet or two of 12 x 12 paper to make this card – I didi a bit of fussy cutting out of the 12 x 12 papers, added some lace under the bottom layer and tied a big ribbon bow to finish. I have been in the craft room today making some cards with the new Prima paper I picked up the other day – Anna Marie , but after 6 cards I have packed it away because I also want to cut into the other range I purchase – Delight – its super vintage so I can dig out the ribbon and lace! Til tomorrow….

IMG_2984 (Medium)Card number 3 using Kaisercraft Curiosity IMG_2984 (Medium)Card number 3 using Kaisercraft Curiosity collection. For this one I just used the papers – The background paper is from the 6″ pad, and the frame and bird image which i put behind the frame is  fussy cut from a 12 by 12 piece. I die cut some leaves, and added some kaisercraft flowers to finish. In a rush tonight – a bit of a kitchen disaster involving a faulty toaster and the fire brigade so have a bit of cleaning up to do…. til tomorrow….

Cheers to you owl

IMG_5828 (Medium)Male cards are always challenging, so I often fall back on this design – or something similar. I embossed the brown cardstock with a Sizzix woodgrain embossing folder, and die cut a circle from the middle of it. The owl is punched from various scraps of patterned paer with a Stampin Up owl punch, and the leafy branches around the owl are punched with a martha Stewart frond punch. The greeting and glass are stamped using Stampin Up Cheers to you stamps.Other week flown by, and very busy it has been too, Hopefully i find a few minutes to myself to do some serious cardmaking this weekend! Til tomorrow…..

Great Southern land number 3

IMG_8836This is the final card in my Kaisercraft Great southern Land series – still a bit dark – sorry! The parrot is from the matching collectables pack ( isn’t it great?) and I used stampin Up cardstock and sentiment stamp.Tomorrow we will move onto something completely different. I had a lovely morning over at paper flourish, I was setting up my lessons, while a big group of ladies were enjoying the cardmakers club. Its always great to see what they come up with for each months challenge. This month the challenge ( which I always join in with) was Criss cross card – white on white. And it was amazing how different they all looked even though it was quite a narrow frame. All the cards were photograghed and will be up on the paper flourish facebook page soon, I urge you all to have a look – these cards are stunning!I picked up a great amount of new papers today, the new releases from Kaisercraft ate fantastic – I was spoilt for choice, so tonight and for the rest of the weekend I will be in the craft room creating. Can’t wait. Til tomorrow….

Great southern land 2

IMG_8835 (Medium)Again, a little dark, not sure what happened there, but nathan would have an explanation for it!Paper and matching collectables are Kaisercraft Great Southern land, and i rounded the corners, and die cut an an oval for this one. the sentiment is a Hero arts happy Birthday stamp. More orders tonight – this time retirement cards, I’ve been kept busy this week with orders – it’s all good! Til tomorrow….

Great Southern Land

IMG_8832 (Medium)This photo is a little dark – in real life the background isn’t quite so dark, the paper is from Kaisercrafts Great Southern Land collection and I used the matching collectables as well. This was a release in the second half of last year, but it should still ba available. I used it for a class last september, and we all thought it would be good for xmas cards to send overseas.this one though I have made into a birthday card stamping a stampin up sentiment stamp straight onto the paper.I will be found in the craft room tonight as I have a few orders to make including quite a few wedding cards! Til tomorrow….

Basic Grey Serenade number 4

IMG_3596 (Medium)Basic grey serenade 6″pad and sticker sheet – hard to beleive this is the same collection as the few cards previously posted, and i think this one is my favourite. I used a sticker from the matching sticker sheet, and the pleated netting and bling is from websters pages. I just added satin and organza cream ribbon and a couple of flowers to finish. I haven’t been in the craft room in the evenings this week, as I have started new hours at work – early starts, and longer days, so a little tired, but the good news is that I have 3 1/2 days off a week, so much more time for crafting on the weekends! Til tomorrow…

StIll on the oval theme…

IMG_4184 (Medium)The oval theme – did you all pick up on that one? The last few posts have all involved ovals, which I only noticed myself today! Every thing on this card except for the brads ( kaisercraft) are stampin Up items. here goes – cardstock – Pool party, designer paper – Comfort Cafe, curly cute sentiment, sizzlets Leaves die,Designer frames oval embossing folder, and stamps – Clearly for you, and the flowers are from Vintage Vogue stamp set and fussy cut. I forgot about this card, i really like the design and I am off now to experiment some more with it1 Til tomorrow…

Kaisercraft periwinkle 2

Here is the only other card I have had time to make using Kaisercraft Periwinkle paper. I punched a border with E.K. Success fan border punch, which I have been using a lot lately, and the bird is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Nature set. I can’t tell you where the leaf stamps are from – I have looked in my room – it’s a disaster area in there at the moment, and I can’t lay my hands on the stamp set used, but I do know I stamped them on white and coloured them with distress inks and a sponge dauber. I have had a lovely day with my Mum, visiting the craft shops, and looking at all the new releases, ahh, so much product, not enough crafting time! Til tomorrow….

Prima Tea thyme number 4

This is the last in my Prima Tea Thyme collection ( for now) and for this one I have used the papers, and the matching journalling notes to make the frame. The Bird is Die cut from my sizzix tim holtz caged bird, and I just added some seam binding and kaisercraft rhinestones to finish.I love all the paper in this range, and will get back to it after I have finished with Christmas cards! Til tomorrow….
