Oxford Impressions Nature stamp

This is a different card for fathers day, but I love this stamp set from Oxford Impressions. I stamped it in stampin up chocolate chip, and mounted it on some patterned paper, the brand escapes me at the moment, and the cardstock is Stampin Up baja breeze. I have a couple of projects tonight, one is to finish off the 7 cards I made last night using my new supplies, and I am so pleased with how they came out I’m hoping Nathan can photo them tomorrow so that I can post them! The other project I am going to start tonight is a colour chart. I found an unused pinboard hanging around, and I am going to cut squares out of all my scraps of cardstock and pin them to the board and hang it in front of my craft table. I will then have at a glance all my available colours of cardstock, and I will even be able to move them around to see if the colours match, and maybe even come up with some outstading combinations! This could be a project that takes a little while, but as soon as I have completed it, I will post a photo! Til tomorrow…..

Reflections.

Tonights card is made using a Prima paper 6″pad called reflections. there are some nice papers in this pad, and I didn’t have to add too much more to my card. I even did some paper ripping, although I still have trouble with that whole ripping technique! I sponged the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink, and stamped a couple of flower images from Stampin Up stamp set -Vintage vogue  – onto some more patterned paper and cut them out and layered them up, and thats it!Too cold for crafting tonight, so its a night in front of the heater with a good book! Til tomorrow…..

Forgotten card!

I was browsing through some old photo files, and found this card which I think I forgot to post! I made it quite a while ago, using Stampin up cardstock – early espresso, river rock and baja breeze, and the stamps are from oxford expressions Nature collection. The Greeting is from a set from stampin up. Another cold evening here, so on with the heater, and a bit of crafting! Til tomorrow…..

Final Party Animal card

This is the last card in my series of Party Animals cards (for now!). The cardstock is Stampin up, and the images were fussy cut from Kaisercrafts Party Animals range, and the greeting was stamped from the stamps from the same range. Tonight I’m working on a couple of new cards from recently purchased papers, and stamps and hopefully nathan can photo them at the end of this week, so I have something to show next week! Til tomorrow…..

Party Animals

This is the new range of papers from Kaisercraft called party animals. It also comes with a great range of stamps, which I couldn’t resist. On this card I used the balloon stamps to stamp directly onto the cardstock (Stampin up  More Mustard) and then also stamped them onto various papers from the 6″ pad and cut them out and stuck them directly onto the stamped image. I fussy cut the elephant from one of the papers, and tied a little string around his trunk. I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the striped paper. today I was over at Paper flourish setting up my July lesson, and saw this months new ranges of Kaisercraft, and couldn’t resist purchasing them. I particularly like the Velvet Ensemble, and used it for my lesson next month. Its great for mens cards, and the matching stamps are great. I’m off to play with my new purchases! Til tomorrow…..

When I stamp…

When I stamp – I stamp! I have used quite a few different stamp sets on this card. First I stamped the script -( Stamp it) onto ivory confetti stampin up cardstock, and over stamped it with a stamp from Oxford Impressions – Nature collection. The coloured image is a stampin up stamp from the Every Moment set, and the tag is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Nature set. I stamped the main image onto stampin up watercolour card and coloured using my ink pads and an aquapainter – my favourite way of colouring. The cardstock is all stampin up . Til tomorrow…..

Here for you

This afternoon while checking my files I found this card which I haven’t posted yet, but actually did for a Village lesson a few months ago.I used Stampin Up cardstock ( retired colours) and Here for you stamp, cuttlebug embossing folder, string and the Bird stamp is in the Nature set by Oxford Impressions. Speaking of which, my 2 new stamp sets  from oxford impressions arrived today, so I’m off to mount them so I can have a play! Til tomorrow….

Birds and Cages!

These are my kind of cards! The paper is gorgeous to work with – Prima Botanical collection, and perfect for backgrounds on cards like these. I used my cricut and the Serenade cartridge to cut the birds and cages in a couple of different sizes, then sponged the cages with Tim Holtz tea dye ink, and stamped the birds with a swirly stamp in versamark ink and brushed on some perfect pearls powder which brought up the swirls a treat! Also used were asorted flowers, leaf punches, lace and ribbon. Great fun! Til tomorrow…..

One for dog lovers!

Tonights card is a little bit different from the more recent posts. I used Docrafts Pampered Pets paper – they also have cats in this pack, lace and stampin up  crumbcake cardstock. After a few busy days at work I’m lookoing forward to the next 2 days at home and a bit of cardmaking to unwind! Til tomorrow….

Card in a Card

I call this design a card in a card. Really easy to do  and looks quite effective. I used Kaisercraft Loire valley patterned paper which I found in the bottom of a drawer when I was having a tidy up, Bazzil cardstock, and a length of ribbon.Quick post today, Til tomorrow….
