This is the second card I made using the recipe set out in the previous post. I used Stampin Up cardstock, and Oxford Impressions stamps for the seaweed and Fish. I really like the effect of this technique, and when I get some free creating time I am going to experiment further with this one! Post in a rush tonight as I am off to a Teachers night in over at Paper Flourish, and I am so looking forward to it! Til tomorrow…..

Nature
Tonights card was one I really enjoyed doing as I was playing with a new stamp set – Stampin Up Bliss set which is my favourite at the moment. I also used Always Artichoke stampin up cardstock, and chocolate chip ribbon, K&Co grand Adhesions and Kaisercraft timeless patterned paper. Tonight I’m working on some girly cards – lots of bling! Til tomorrow….
A different fold
While I was cleaning up in my craft room,I came across this paper – Loire Valley – by Kaisercraft. I tried to do something a little bit different with it, and this is what I came up with. It’s quite effective, and I’ll do some more cards using this fold. The cardstock is Stampin Up and Bazzill. I managed a few more Mothers day cards today, but still not enough, and April is a big birthday month in our family, so I must get on to those as well. Til tomorrow…..
Miss you
Todays card is almost a direct copy of a card in the Stampin Up Ideas catalogue. I used Stampin Up cardstock – Baja Breeze, and very Vanilla, the Avairy stamp set, and asorted inkpads. I also used the cuttlebug swiss dots folder, and an old miss you stamp I had in my craft supply. Don’t you love the look on the owls face? He looks totally out of his depth amongst those fancy little birds! Til tomorrow…..
Stampin Up Owl Punch
Finally I have had time to play with my owl punch. There are many variations of this card on blogs throughout the land, and this is my take, although I have noticed that my little owl holding the balloons has a wing problem. That half circle was folded back to make a quarter circle for his wing, but he appears to have had a mishap in the photographing process.I used Wild wasabi ,close to cocoa and poppy parade stampin up cardstock, and a cuttlebug woodgrain folder which I inked with choc chip stampin up inkpad. I used various other punches and circle dies, some string and wobbly eyes to finish. I must go and pack my bag for tomorrows class, so til tomorrow…..
We’ll Miss Ewe
I made tonights card for a loyal customer at work who has been visiting us almost daily for many years, but is moving to the country with her family, and we will miss her lots! She loved her card, and I enjoyed making it – just my style of card. I used stampin up cardstock – Green galore, and October Afternoon patterned paper.I fussy cut the sheep out of the paper. Tonight I am playing with my Websters pages patterned paper, still on my mission to reduce the ammount of patterned paper I am holding, as next months Kaisercraft papers are gorgeous, and I have to make room for them!Til tomorrow….
Thinking of You
Tonights card uses Bazzill cardstock as the base, and Kaisercraft Secret Bird Society 6″ paper pad,and Kaisercraft wood flourishes – Birds. I inked the bird with Tim Holtz distress inks, and used a Stampin Up greeting stamp. The little butterfly was fussy cut out of the patterned paper.I really like this paper, and haven’t done nearly enough with it – maybe after xmas! I will sit and make a couple of cards tonight but I have bought a couple of new books ( A new Jeffrey Deaver – yay!!) so will be reading tonight! Â Til tomorrow….
Sorry!
Just a fun card tonight! The cardstock is Wild Wasabi from Stampin up, and the paper is from October Afternoon – Thrift Shop. I cut the letters using my new Cricut (I haven’t had nearly enough time playing with it yet ) and the cute dog was a freebie off the front of a craft magazine. Its called Hot Diggedy dog, and the whole set of chipboard pieces were so cute that I tried to source them but they are not available anywhere – they were just designed for the giveaway – a shame -I’m sure they would be a winner.Anyway just a lighthearted post tonight, I have spent the afternoon doing orders, and it’s back to work tomorrow.Til then….
Happy Birdie
Here is another one of those cards that I really enjoyed making – This little bird looks so happy! I used Stampin Up cardstock – Pink Passion, Core’dination cardstock, Sizzix embossing folders, and the greeting tag was a Stampin up Die. I am doing a few 3d cards tonight for my boxes, and then a couple of xmas cards. I have set myself a challenge – I haven’t got out my xmas stuff yet, I only have a Kaisercraft 6″ paper pad – Be Merry – so I am now determined to see how many cards I can make just using that one paper pad and a bit of cardstock ( and kindyglitz of course). So far I am up to 8! Til tomorrow….
Caterpillar greetings
Tonights card uses Kaisercraft 6″ pad – jungle bug- and stampin up cardstock- Brilliant blue. All that was needed was some fussy cutting, letter stickers and a couple of wobbly eyes.2 quick cards! I promised myself that I wouldn’t start xmas cards yet, but I bought the new Be Merry 6″pad from kaisercraft and have already made 6 cards just using the pad.I tell myself its a good head start on the cards we will be making in October to send to the troops, for them to send back home. Til tomorrow….
