anniversary card

I put this card  together from scraps of Kaisercraft Bonjour patterned paper. Because it was for my sisters wedding anniversary  I didn’t want it too blingy – her hubby is not a blingy kind of guy – I see I can do unblingy when I try, but gee it was difficult! Day off tomorrow, so after a visit to paper flourish to set up januarys lesson, I will be found in the craft room – Yay!! Til tomorrow….

Victoria Gardens 4

I couldn’t resist putting up another Echo Park Victoria Gardens card. The die used to cut the flower is a tim holtz sizzix die, my favourite for the moment! I also used a sticker from the same paper and a bit of ribbon and a paper flower. Today I am working on my next village lesson. Tomorrow we will return to some fathers day (  good for male birthdays too), til tomorrow…..

Victoria Gardens 3

Today I thought we would skip back to my Echo Park Victoria Gardens series, and this is number three. The only extra on this card is some lace, kaisercraft pearls, kindyglitz and the use of a Martha Stewart punch. I fussy cut the rose from paper in the same collection. Today was market day – very quiet there today, I guess everyone was outdoors enjoying the gorgeous weather. Anyway we packed up early and gave ourselves an early minute! Tonight i will unpack my boxes, and see how I go making my xmas cards..Til tomorrow…..

Blossom Party

Todays card uses Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime patterned papers, stampin up bird punch, and stampin up sizzix dies – leaves and Blossom Party. I also used bazzil cardstock, and a big rhinestone brad, and some lace. I had a totally different card in mind when I started this one, but it kind of took over!Tonight will be some baby cards to go in the market boxes. Til tomorrow…

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad

Happy 55th Anniversary mum and dad. I know Dad checks my blog to see what I’m up to, so i hope you remembered to take Mum out to lunch! I recently had great fun creating a series of cards that represented shop fronts, so with this card I turned the view to the outside! I created the window by die-cuting rectangles out of some cardstock and putting some acetate behind for the window glass. The picture was one I found in an old frame Kay ( my sister) gave me, and the curtains were created with Docrafts Hanoverian Linen paper. The flowers were from Magnolia. I didn’t make it too fussy, as dad has made it quite clear that he prefers plainer cards! If I had realised that 55 years was an Emerald anniversary before I made the card, there would have been a bit more green featured! Til tomorrow…..

Bird on a Branch

Tonight I thought I would show you my first attempt at brayering. This is a technique I am still practising, and will be for some time! The cardstock is Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie, Inks are Stampin up Cameo Coral and Yoyo yellow, Stamp is Stampin up Bird on a branch, and the greeting is a new one from Kaisercraft from the After 5 range. I do love the brayering technique,I think though that I need to attend a class or two!Back to xmas cards tonight, the back is improving, and I can finally sit down. Til tomorrow….

Owl Anniversary

Todays card uses Stampin Up chocolate chip cardstock, retired Stampin up designer paper, and the new stampin up Owl punch. This is the first card I have made with the owl punch, and I haven’t had a chance to get back to it, but I will. I just love it.Christmas cards seem to be taking up a lot of my time just now, but I am nearly done, and just have to do my own ones, It will be too bad if I have to buy a pack!Todays lesson went really well and I think everyone enjoyed themselves which is the main aim and the whole idea! Tomorrow is our marathon all day cardmaking for the troops day, so I will be able to tell you how many cards we made on tomorrow nights post, and hopefully my photographer will pop in and take a couple of photos too. Til tomorrow….

Anniversary Card

An earlier than usual post tonight, as it’s shopping night.Todays card uses Stampin Up Baja Breeze cardstock, and the new stampin Up designer paper -Elegant Soiree. I have also used a little scrap of parisian Breeze (boy I loved that paper, I still have a new pack of it in my drawer ). The dancing couple are Graphic 45 Le Romantique, the ribbon was in my drawer, and I finished it off with some Kaisercraft pearls.Oh well, off to the shop, til tomorrow….

Love is…

Le chataeu collection by kaisercraft  is great for wedding,  engagement and anniversary cards which is what I used it for on this one, along with stampin up cardstock – baja breeze and creamy caramel for the mat, but when I saw this paper all I wanted to make with it was 21st cards  . The 6″ paper pads are great in this collection, and the die cuts at the back of the pad are really handy too.I’ll be back tomorrow night with the 21st cards!
