Graphic 45 Le’Amour number 11

IMG_7765 (Medium)For the final card in my graphic 45 Le’Amour series I have made an easel card, and used a feather die that I got free on the front of a magazine. It cuts beautifully, and I love the shape of it.Just layering and minimal embellishing on this one. tomorrow we will start a new series – as much of a surprise to me as it will be to you because I can’t remember what we have coming up!The good news is I found my baby papers, the bad news is my pink buttons are still missing! No doubt they will turn up when I am not looking for them! Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Le Amour number 10

IMG_7772 (Medium)A gatefold design today made with graphic 45 Le Amour and just a bit of ribbon for embellishment.Tomorrow will be the last design using this paper for now, today I spent some time going through my boxes, in preparation for the craft fair in June, sorting out cards I am short of, and it appears from now until then I will be making a lot of mens cards! What a surprise! Not much mens papers around just now so I will have to rely on older paper in my craft room and stamp sets.I also spent a little while finishing off some baby boy cards I have been working on, and looking for my pink buttons! They have not been found, and nor has my stash of baby papers, I think the pink buttons must be with the baby papers, so find one and I hopefully will find both, but it beats me at the moment where they have got to. A bigger search will have to happen tomorrow!Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Le Amour number 9

IMG_7771 (Medium)Todays card with graphic 45 Le Amour is so simple..just a piece of patterned paper a little smaller than my card base, with some lace and ribbon wrapped around it,a ribbon bow and an image cut from one of the other papers in the collection.I think this one would make a good mothers day card!.It has been a lovely weekend here in Adelaide, the weather is mild with just the right amount of sun and the nights have been cool enough to dig out the quilt so good for sleeping! Just what I like! Til tomorrow….

Last months village lesson part 2..

IMG_7713 (Medium)IMG_7715 (Medium)As promised, here are the other two cards the ladies made last lesson over at the village. The focus was on die cutting, and the dies we used were Kaisercraft dies. For the top card the daisy die was cut twice – once on green cardstock and once on patterned paper, then we cut the flowers from the patterned paper and stuck them on the green cardstock.A doily die was used for under the flower. I always try and sneak in a male themed card, which is the bottom card.Again kaisercraft dies, and a stampin up boat stamp underneath, die cut in a circle once stamped to sit behind the ship wheel die.A silver brad in the centre of the ship wheel. That’s another month gone, March already and officially the start of autumn – ( here anyway – our northern hemisphere neighbours are welcoming spring) and I am looking forward to cooler weather. It’s been a very long summer this year.Til tomorrow….

More kaisercraft Curiosity ( 14,15)

IMG_7743 (Medium)IMG_7744 (Medium)Today we are back to kaisercraft curiosity paper collection and matching collectables.I was going to leave these for a little while, but I know that Janice ( a lovely lady from America) has scoured the net looking for this collection, and it is on her way to her as we speak, so I thought I would put up a few more ideas for her. These two cards are side stepper cards,( have I done a youtube clip for this style of card?) and I just needed the papers and collectables to decorate, although having said that there is a die cut ( Kaisercraft die) on the top card cut from gold card. It’s a lovely day here and a day off. the shopping is done so i am off to the craft room. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft curiosity card in a box idea…

IMG_7635 (Medium)This is the last of Kaisercraft Curiosity for a little while. I thought I would finish off with a couple of card in boxes. Most of the images are cut from the 12 x 12 papers and 6″ pad, and there a re a couple of collectables there too, but that’s it – no other embellishing required. The card on the left is earmarked for my dads 84th birthday next week,he loves seeing my creations and will enjoy examining this one to see how I put it together! I didn’t get as much crafting done yesterday as I thought I would, but saw lots of family members over at mum and dads, so it was a most enjoyable day.The weather here is so much better – quite cool and so I have popped a roast in the oven, I have missed my weekly roasts! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Curiosity number 12..

IMG_7645 (Medium)Kaisercraft curiosity collection, with a lot of fussy cutting from the 12 x 12 papers and just a ribbon bow for some extra texture. tomorrow will be the final two cards with this collection ( for now, anyway), and they are special card in a box cards.Today is the first day in quite a while that I don’t have any pressing engagements, and it’s lovely to just relax and fritter the time away! I have straightened up my craft desk, things tend to get piled on top of each other on there during the week and then on the weekend I have to spend a little while putting things in their proper place before I can start creating, but that’s done and now I am going to go and contemplate which paper collection I am going to create with today. It’s going to be a lovely day! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Curiosity 10,11….

IMG_7644 (Medium)

Oops! you all saw the 21st card yesterday! I liked it so much I put it up again!!!( technical glitch). The paper collection and matching collectables is Kaisercraft Curiosity, and I did a bit of fussy cutting, and just added a touch of ribbon and lace. I am glad I decided to go back and use the paper I have because I haven’t bought any paper yet this year..( I know!!). So far nothing has grabbed my imagination, but I am hoping that changes when all the american new releases hit our stores.Meanwhile this morning i am off to teach a lesson, so must go and get organised. Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Curiosity 8 and 9

IMG_7639 (Medium)IMG_7641 (Medium)Today I am revisiting and old favourite – kaisercraft Curiosity collection.I have just used the papers and collectables, a bit of ribbon and a brass key on the lower card. A bit of my favourite – fussy cutting too! I have a lot of this paper so after  making some cards with this I popped it back into the shelves, to revisit again another time. I might get it out for some mothers day cards! Til tomorrow…..

More kaisercraft bonjour…

IMG_7619 (Medium)IMG_7621 (Medium)IMG_7623 (Medium)Another 3 cards made with kaisercraft Bonjour paper collection. The top 2 cards are just reliant on the papers and fussy cutting, while the bottom card has some die cutting and bling added to it.It’s been a very busy weekend with no card making for me!But i have finished all outstanding classes, and finished all the paperwork, so I might be able to spend a couple of hours in the craft room to make a start on the Mothers day cards. til tomorrow….
