Graphic 45 Time to celebrate 7 and 8

IMG_4992 (Medium)IMG_4996 (Medium)An anniversary card and a generic type lets party card today made with Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate.both cards have an amount of fussy cutting, and the top card has seam binding, the bottom card just a small ribbon bow around the balloons.I have one more class for January left to set up this weekend, and then I think it might be beach themed cards as the weather has been very warm here and all thoughts are on cooler places! til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Time to Celebrate 5 and 6

IMG_4990 (Medium)IMG_4991 (Medium)It is a very versatile paper, this Graphic 45 Time to celebrate.. so far we have had wedding, baby, and now graduation and little girl birthday! The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and a bit of layering. the bottom card is much simpler with just a bit of ribbon and lace to decorate. I taught a class this morning, and normally when I get home I go into the card room feeling all inspired, but today is just far too hot, – about 38C at the moment, so I will be found curled up in my chair under the air conditioning reading a book! Til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny Isabella numbers 2 and 3

IMG_3190 (Medium)IMG_3192 (Medium)Love the colours of this paper – Bo bunny Isabella. The cardstock is stampin up as is the sentiment stamp, and I have used a variety of flowers, mainly Prima on the bottom card and the bunch on the top card is Manor House. Martha stewart leaf punch, ribbon and liquid pearls are the rest of the supplies I used.I had some new stamps to colour last night, and today I have spent an hour or two in between housework making up cards with the finished colouring.Til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny Isabella number 1?

IMG_3189 (Medium)A bit of a break from christmas cards ! This is Bo Bunny Isabella, I am sure I have already posted some cards made with this paper but I can’t find them so I have started the count all over again! Love the colours of this paper, and I have teamed it with some pretty flowers – the large one from Manor House, and the smaller ones are Prima. Also used stampin up cardstock and sentiment stamp, and martha stewart leaf punch and liquid pearls. I had a relaxing time in the craft room last night, and sorted out 2 of my December lessons – just a couple more to do – I think I am doing and extra class in december – a night class so that will be something different!nathan has been experimenting with lighting when he does my photos – let me know what you think! Prima forever green and mixed media

IMG_8588 (Medium)card 1.IMG_8584 (Medium)card 2.IMG_8585 (Medium)close up of card 2.

Quite a long post today, to explain what I did to these cards! These two are my favourite cards using Prima Forever green collection, mainly because I made such a mess experimenting! From the top. card 1. I used retired stampin up stamps for the background text, green foilage and sentiment and used a Prima 3d die cut and fussy cut butterfly as a focus. a scrap of ribbon and lace to finish. Card 2.I used white cardstock and sprayed a couple of colours of fireworks onto it and then used a stencil and light texture paste. You have to wait a little while to let the paste dry, then to continue.. a touch of Wink of Stella on some of the dried texture paste for a bit of a gleam, random sequins, a prima forever green die cut and some punched greenery. In the close up you can see the glitter of the wink of stella brush. I enjoyed this technique  and will try it on some special christmas cards when I get half a minute to myself! til tomorrow…..

prima Forever Green 9 and 10

IMG_8587 (Medium)IMG_8589 (Medium)I feel like I have been posting cards made with this collection ( prima Forever green) for ever! but we will keep going because we are nearly finished, and the cards i managed to make out of this collection are all quite varied and there are a couple coming up that are my absolute favourites!.these two meanwhile use the usual variety of ribbon, flowers and even sequins, and the bottom card has a die cut fairy which I did using a spellbinders die, and I used my wink of stella brush to highlight the wings with a little blingy sheen. The cardstock is as usual stampin up.day off today, so I am off into the card room to get a head start on some orders. til tomorrow….

Prima forever green number 7 and 8

IMG_8582 (Medium)IMG_8586 (Medium)Early post this morning before work! Prima forever green paper collection, with some stampin up cardstock and seam binding, and on the bottom card some kaisercraft mini flowers mixed in with the prima flowers and lace. What I love about this paper is the different colour combinations I can use with it.Til tomorrow….

Prima Forever Green number 5 and 6

IMG_8580 (Medium)IMG_8581 (Medium)Another two cards in my Prima Forever Green collection. Again everything used is by Prima, except for the cardstock and seam binding which are from Stampin Up. The background on the bottom card is actually from the packaging some of the Prima bits and pieces came from – it was too perfect to throw away!My goal for tonight is to reshelves all my books which are in a pile on the floor at the moment, so must get a move on before it gets too late! til tomorrow….
