Serene Sillouettes stamp set

IMG_0308 (Medium)straight away I want to say this was not my idea – I saw it on pinterest, but had to try it! I liked the idea of using my oval die to use as a stencil. I stamped the serene sillouttes stamp( Stampin Up) in versamark ink onto white cardstock, and white embossed it, die cut and oval and used  what would normally be the waste to pop over the card and inked through it with green and pink inbk. The heat embossed image resisted the ink. I also heat embossed a butterfly stamp on vellum, and coloured it witgh pink ink before fussy cuuting and attaching to the card. Wrapped the whole panel with with organza ribbon.I thoroughly enjoyed doing this ione, and time permitting will experiment further with different shapes and stampoed images! Til tomorrow….

A stamped garden!

IMG_0309 (Medium)On todays  card I have gathered a few stampin up ink pads and stamp sets  – stippled blossoms, bliss, and vintage vogue – and stamped out a colourful garden onto some white cardstock, which I then fussy cut around and stuck to another piece of white cardstock which I had embossed with a stampin up embossing folder – lacy brocade. I added some rhinestones, and heat embossed a butterfly on vellum and cut around that too before sticking it on the front of the card. This card is a favourite, and I must try this a gain! I was missing yesterday as I haven’t been well – I am suffering from a cold, and feeling more than sorry for myself! Luckily the lemon tree has lots of fruit on it so I have been drinking lemon and honey drinks and that does seem to help a bit.Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Blubelle card and box

IMG_0317 (Medium)Quick post tonight as I am struggling a bit today – my son gave me his cold for Mothers day! today is a card and matching box ( box on right) made with Kaisercraft Blubelle papers, and a couple of the matching collectables. I like the background paper I have used on this one.I cut one of the doily collectables in half and used it on opposite sides of  the main element of the card. The flowers are kaisercraft mini flowers, and I also used some lace, satin and organza ribbon and a pearl.I kept the lid of the box quite plain.Til tomorrow….

IMG_0313 (Medium)A new range today – kaisercraft Blubelle, here some of the 6″ pad, a piece from a 12 x 12 paper and the matching collectables.Totally different colours to the last range I was showing – but that is what makes card making fun! always different! I have been playing with some new tools today, the new we are memory keeper flower punch board in particaular,The flowers it makes are rather big, and probably not too good for cards, but i have a lovely vase of paper flowers sitting on the dining table now!

Bo Bunny Primrose card and matching box – number 6

IMG_0305 (Medium)As I have mentioned before I have been making a few cards and matching boxes for my stall in June at the local craft fair, and this was one of them. The card is on the left, and I used stampin up cardstock, matted a couple of papers from Bo Bunny primrose collection, fussy cut the butterflies and flowers along the bottom, and added some Kaisercraft pearl strips. the box is on the right hand side, and I kept the decoration quite simple , using another fussy cut butterfly and a die cut from the same collection. Liquid pearls and a ribbon bow to finish off the decoration on that one. the end of a long working week and I am looking forward to some relaxation time, and some experimenting with some new tools that I will share next week! til tomorrow….
