Apothecary Art number 3

Here is number 3 in my Stampin Up Apothecary art stamp set series. I have used my Stampin Up blossom party die to make the flowers, and die cut the leaves with my Meadow leaf memory box die. Also used on this card are – Stampin Up twitterpated designer paper, Drifting Endless embossing folder by Couture creations, a Martha stewart punch, and My Minds Eye brads. The stamped image was die cut with Stampin Up Labels collection . The Stampin Up cardstock is Basic grey and Blushing Bride. Tonight i intend to spend a little time in the card room coming up with some new designs – I have finally prepared all my lessons for the next couple of months, so now to fill the market boxes! Apothecary art stamp set 2

A  very early post today as it’s shopping tonight, and i want to set up 3 lessons before then – I am trying to get ahead a little bit because I have a trip to Canberra in a couple of weeks ( so looking forward to that) and of course my 3 day craft fair almost straight after that. I remember saying a couple of weeks ago that I was going through a pink/grey phase – this is one of those cards. The stamp set is Apothecary art stamp set from Stampin Up,and the designer paper is also from Stampin Up – Twitterpated.Cardstock is stampin Up basic grey and Pink Pirrouetteand I added some lace, ribbon and a flower made from scrap paper using my sizzix 3d flowers die. The sentiment across the middle is from a set by Stampin Up called So happy for you. The Apothecary art set comes with sentiments, but I wanted a more delicate print. All the labels are die cut using my cuttlebug and stampin Up label collection dies.Til tomorrow….

Final Mothers day card

Here is my final Mothers day card for the year! A quick and easy one for those of you who left it til the last minute! The paper is Kaisercraft madame Boutique, and the stamp ( which I coloured with tim holtz distress ink and a waterbrush) is Kaisercraft lady Jude. Just a pearl flourish and a flower to finish. I hope everyone has a lovely Mothers day tomorrow, I am hoping for a day of no cooking – but I am not holding my breath on that one! Til tomorrow…..

New dies to paly with…

I saw these two dies – memory box rounded fence and wrought iron gate, and couldn’t resist them! I have teamed them with a couple of spellbinders dies – Picot edge cirle and a label die, and a Stampin Up sentiment stamp from the perfectly penned set. I just added some lace, one of my hand crocheted doilies, and a bought flower although next time I will make my own! The paper is from a 6″ paper pad by melissa francis called Cest La vie. I sponged all the edges with Tim Holtz spun Sugar ink. No cardmaking tonight as its shopping night – Til tomorrow….

Quick and easy Cuttlebug card

This is a quick and easy card, made using a variety of dies through my cuttlebug . I love these colours together, but I think the design would also work with yellows and oranges for a brighter card – I will try it…. The cardstock I have used is Stampin Up wisteria Wonder, and bazill card for the rest. The paper is Melissa Francis, and the dies I used – Stampin Up blossom Party , Memory box – meadow leaf and La Rue flourish. The flower is held together with a Kaisercraft brad.I have had very early starts at work this week, so not too much crafting in the evenings as I am tired and looking forward to the end of next week when I start a months holidays..but I will create a card or two tonight. Til tomorrow….

Vintage card with dress form die

IThe vintage style is a favourite of mine and here I have combined it with my new spellbinders dress form die. The paper is Melissa Francis C’est La Vie and I also used my cuttlebug to cut a spellbinders labels 14 die, and memory box dies – Amana circle and meadow leaf. I crocheted the doily ( I am no crocheter so don’t look too closely!) and I added a flower and beaded hat pin to finish.I covered the dress form with a little curtain remnant, and added some liquid pearls for a necklace.I am hoping to spend a little time in the craft room tonight, it has been a busy weekend with not much crafting done, so the ideas are backing up!Til tomorrow….

dress form card

A very late post today, but today has just escaped from me and Nathan and I have just finished photoing my cards, which we usually do on a Sunday morning. This means the light was not good and to avoid putting up Nathans photo tent (which is impossible to fold back up) I was in the dark under the dining table which he assured me was the best place to take said photos. We will see when he has put them on the computer. Anyway on to todays card. No pretty papers today! Bazzil cardstock which i ran through the cuttlebug with my swiss dots embossing folder, and spellbinders dress forms die ( cut from a bit of a cereal packet and painted with crackle paint) The pretty lace is actually a curtain remnat, and the flowers were cut with my cricut and the flower shoppe cartridge. All that was needed then was a bit of ribbon, a paper flower and some liquid pearls. That’s it for today, but will see you all tomorrow. Til tomorrow…….

Prima meadow lark number 7

Here is the final Prima meadow Lark card! Although as we speak the collection is sitting on my work table as I am still doing orders and that paper was asked for on two of the cards, so I am not done with it yet although I probably won’t post any more cards with it. Here I really let the paper do the talking – I just couldn’t bring myself to cut into this pretty paper so I made a feature of it instead, fussy cutting around the design and just adding a butterfly ( memory box dies kaliedascope and moonlight butterfly) and some lace and liquid pearls. Tomorrow I think we will have some male cards! Til tomorrow….

Prima meadowlark number 5

After a detour yesterday we are back to my Prima Meadow lark collection series – this is the second to last card in this series, and for this one I have covered the whole card base with this gorgeous paper, and added flowers and ribbon, I stamped a stampin Up perfectly penned sentiment onto a pice of paper from the same collection and fussy cut it out. The butterflies are punched out with a martha stewart punch.I did make a start on my village lesson cards, but had to put them to one side while I fulfilled an order, which I am still doing.I have also booked my stall at the salisbury craft fair which is being held in June, but I will have more info on that available on my Market button ( on my home page) in the next week or so… Til tomorrow….
