This is the first card I made with my new stamp set from Stampin Up Field Flowers. All products used are stampin Up – cardstock and ink – Calypso coral and pool party, and designer paper – everyday enchantment. The die is a stampin up sizzix die – top note. Very quick post tonight as its tea time, and, people are wondering here it is! Til tomorrow…..

Upsy daisy
I have been using these two colours a lot this week, but I didn’t have ribbon to match, so I dyed my own using my little spray mister, a little water and a few drops of re -inker. Whenever I but an ink pad I also buy a bottle of refill ink, and this comes in handy for jobs just like this. The ribbon was originally stampin up whisper white taffeta ribbon, and when I had dyed my ribbon I still had some mix in my spray bottle, and not wanting to waste it I sprayed this piece of Stampin Up confetti Ivory cardstock. I like the effect it has created, and I will be experimenting more with this technique. I stamped Stampin Up Upsy daisy stamp and black embossed it. The greeting is Stampin Up four frames stamp, and petite pairs, and it was punched out with a matching decorative punch. This is a new set for me, I have been using them a lot so you will see more of them! The background card colours are Stampin Up calypso coral and Pool party. Today I have planned out my April paper flourish lesson – I am so far ahead now when it comes time to do that class I will have forgotten what I did!And I have been playing with the new graphic 45 papers which are beautiful… Til tomorrow….
Country Estate
This card uses all Websters pages products, from the Country Estate range. I have discovered a large surplus in the craft room of websters pages products which occured when I purchased a bulk order at a too good to miss price, so I am going to be trying to use some of it up over the next couple of months. The banner is die cut using spellbinders nested Lacey pennants.Today I taught my Paper Flourish class, and I am looking forward to an evening in the craft room! Til tomorrow….
Vintage Vogue
This is a card that I taught over at the Retirement Village a little while ago. I used cream cardstock and ran my Very Vintage jumbo wheel ( which I rediscovered not long ago, and now I am rollering everything) with certainly Celery ink(stampin Up) along the outside edge. The flowers are stamped in rich razzleberry ink ( stampin up) onto white cardstock and cut out and layered and shaped, The stamp comes from a stampin Up set called Vintage Vogue. I also used spellbinders Picot edges, liquid pearls and a Stamp it stamp for the greeting. Simple! A nice day spent with Mum and sister creating and talking…. Til tomorrow….
Hummingbird 4
A very late post tonight, but now I can say I am holidays ! Yay! we are still with kaisercraft hummingbird collection, and I also used the matching collectables, a kaisercraft sparklet, and rhinestones. I die cut the rosette with my cuttlebug and tim holtz sizzix die. This will be the last in the hummingbird series for a little while , I actually found this paper to be quite challenging, and when that happens ( not often thankfully) I find it is best to put it away for a while . Quite often in the meantime I have purchased something – A new die, or stamp etc, which is just what the said difficult paper needs.I am looking forward to 2 weeks of crafting and relaxing… Til tomorrow…..
HUmmingbird 3
This week has seen the release of a lot of new paper collections from various overseas companies, and I have been beside myself with so many choices. I think I may have bought too many, and the clue to that is the fact that when I walk into my craft room it actually smells like new paper – you know that glorious inky smell….. I am going to be very busy over the next few weeks ( months ) using it all! Today we are still using paper from kaisercraft Hummingbird collection – this time the 12″ papers and a couple of bits out of the collectables that match this collection. I had a lovely day with my ladies in the Matuere Ladies class, lots of laughs today. For now, cook some tea and off to the craft room.. Til tomorrow….
Hummingbird
Last months release from kaisercraft was Hummingbird collection, and over the next few days I will show a few cards that I have made using this collection. Todays card uses the 6″ paper pad and matching collectables, a little lace and liquid pearls . I have been busy working on a few new designs, and i will continue that tonight, although I must admit I am finding myself easily distracted – I start something and go off on a complete tangent and the finished piece is not what I imagined at all! Til tomorrow….
A little bit of everything…
I have thrown a little bit of everything at this card, so my list is quite long – here goes – Bazzil cardstock for the base, Prima Sparkling spring as the paper collection used, a chipboard dress form covered in matching paper, press studs and old pattern instructions from my late grans box ( that sewing box is coming in quite handy!) my sewing machine, assorted lace, buttons and flowers, a label die and ribbon, and all the edges were inked with worn lipstisk distressed ink. phew…great excitement in the craft room tonight as I received my big box of goodies from Kay (stampin Up) today. What to play with first? My mind is spinning with ideas -it could be quite a long session in there tonight, but first I have to cook tea for the hungry hordes, so Til tomorrow…..
Sweet Nothings revisited 4
This is the last of my cards using Kaisercraft sweet Nothings, tomorrow we will move on if Nathan has time to photo some new cards… Here I used the 6″ pad, a collection of Prima flowers, spellbinders Picot edges and labels 8, stampin up Bird punch for the leaves, and a few drops of liquid pearls. Tonight if my back holds out I will be in the craft room making engagement and wedding cards for an order..Til tomorrow..
Sweet Nothings revisited 3
We are still on my kaisercraft sweet nothings cards, and this one has no ribbon or flowers! It is purely paper and fussy cutting.. my favourite… Oh and a little kindyglitz. I am running a little late tonight – the time is flying today, but I have done all my jobs now, so I am going to do a little stamping and colouring … Til tomorrow….
