More Cock a Doodle do…

Still on my collection of Kaisercraft Cock a doodle do papers and collectables, one that doesn’t feature farm animals! I added three buttons with some string. The card stock is Stampin Up garden green. Very hot day here in Adelaide today – 35C or for my visitors that measure in Farenheight – 95  F . Awful however you say it, and it came with a truly hot north wind, so unpleasant all round! Still we managed to have  a fun time over at paper flourish where I ran my monthly lesson, and I get to do it all over again on Monday, but for now it’s back to the craft room and xmas cards for me… til tomorrow…..

Mainly Dies and cuttlebug

I found this lattice die during an on line browse, and now that I have it, I have forgotten what brand it is! Sorry, can anyone help with that? Anyway its a great die, and perfect for floral themed cards. The paper I used was frpm Kaisercrafts Blae and Ivy range, and I also used my sizzix butterfly die, and Stampin Up swirls die. Martha stewart punch and an assortment of flowers completed the look. Back to xmas cards today, quite enjoying making them so I must have just needed a break from them for a few days! Til tomorrow…..

Odds and Ends

This card was made a little while ago using Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends patterned paper and just a couple of buttons.I had to rumage around in my drawers (Dad would have a field day with that one ladies, but you all know what I mean)  to find out the name of the paper for this post, and discovered a 6″ paper pad, barely used, and an elements sheet to match, so I will be revisiting this paper in the near future! Til tomorrow…..

Mariannes Birthday card

This is my Boss Mariannes Birthday card. I have used Stampin Up Early espresso cardstock, and Die cut an oval on the front panel. then backed both front and back with papers from My Minds Eye Lost and Found  Blush 6″ paper pad. Lots of ribbon, lace trim, hat pin, flowers and bling! The bird and birdcage were die cut with a Tim Holtz die, and I coloured them with some glossy accents which was coloured with a drop of ink. ( a great technique, thank you Kay).I had some trouble – the card really didn’t stand very well, so I made it a little stand at the back after we took this shot.Marianne loved it, but wonders at the patience required to make these creations ( maybe I’m not that patient at work!) I’ve never thought about it – I didn’t think patience came into it – what do you all think? Til tomorrow….

Birdcages and butterflies..

Todays card is such a simple one… The paper is Websters Pages, from the Garden gala range( I think – correct me if I’m wrong) and a picket fence punched with a Martha Stewart punch. A very unfussy card from me today. It is the last day of my holidays, and back to work tomorrow – where did the time go? I have spent today decorating a couple of wooden jewellery boxes that I have had for a while, and I will put them on my market stall on Sunday to see how they go. They were great fun to do, and I will be looking for more of them! Til tomorrow…..

Trendsetter 3 …

I have  jumped about a bit recently on my blog, so I will try and get back into some sort of   order  today. These 2 cards were made with Websters Pages trendsetter papers, and Stampin Up Melon Mambo cardstock. I have had a lovely couple of days cardmaking, so after I have posted this I am going to tidy up my craft room and sit and watch a bit of T.V. Til tomorrow…..

Uncommon….

I have shown a couple of cards made from this collection – Authentique Uncommon – but this card is a little different. The chipboard is Kaisercraft which I coloured with an ink pad, and the brad and cardstock ( early espresso) are from Stampin Up. Assorted ribbon, lace and bling, and a Sizzix floral die for   the flower. The flower is interesting as it was a very old paper dress pattern. I found a bag from my late grans stash when my wardrobe exploded ( long story – but short version – wardrobe was too full) and thought Oh I know what I am doing with these, so cut into this one but my boys have banned me from using any more cos they think they can sell them on e – bay! Had fun up at Paper Flourish today setting up my December class, and spending my Birthday money! Til tomorrow….

Prima Romantique

Todays card is made using Prima Romantique papers, beautiful papers, I have ordered the matching chipboard, so will have more to show when I receive it. The frame is a kaisercraft acetate frame, and I just used a little gold liquid pearls and flower and ribbon. I have spent most of today washing all my holiday clothes, and sorting through my craft room. I must use up some more of my paper collections so I think that will be this weeks goal! Til tomorrow…..

Lots of butterflies….

Butterflies are always popular on cards, and this paper by Prima reflections is beautiful. I did a lot of die cutting on this card – I used stampin up sizzix dies blossoms and flourish, and a sizzix 3d flower die. I used a Kaisercraft sparklet or two and some gorgeous satin ribbon to finish.Today i have been colouring some xmas images and tonight I will put some xmas cards together. Til tomorrow…..

Curio Bird

Another bird card – I seem to be stuck in a crafting rut! But this bird is so beautiful. The paper and stickers are from Basic Grey Curio collection, and I used Kaisercraft printed acetate to cover the whole of the front of the card. I made a flower out of netting and My Minds Eye Brad.I received some new dies in the post today, so tonight I will be trying them out! Til tomorrow…..
