Another card using Megs garden – French garden collection. I used my serenade cricut cartridge to cut the birdcage, and a variety of stampin up stamps for the butterflies, which I then sponged with a variety of inks. I also used some perfect pearls ( my new find – it saves on buying stick on pearls, I love it). Til tomorrow…..

Pink Gelato
What an ordeal it has been to do tadays post! Nathan backed up the computer, and I can’t find anything, it took me half an hour just to locate my photo files. Very frustrating. Anyway, todays card is made using Kaisercrafts new papers – Pink Gelato. These papers are made up of lovely soft colours, and make a change to the bright papers I have been using recently. I also used the matching stickers, and a bit of lace and kaisercraft rhinestones. Til tomorrow….
Vintage
I fell in love with this paper pack ( French collection) from Megs Garden, and it went so well with my new stamp set from oxford impressions – Regency collection. I also used stampin up cardstock, liquid pearls, lace and a kaisercraft pearl brad. I’ve been busy making football team themed cards, as I have finally found a football player stamp. Its by papermania, and has quite a few different sports in it, but so far I’ve only used the football player ( well I think he’s a rugby player, but you really can’t tell the difference.) Til tomorrow….
browsing finds!
Sometimes its good to browse! I found this pretty paper on a site called craftrabbit, and it was free to download. I printed it out on whisper white cardstock from stampin up, and also used stampin up pink pirouette and pretty in pink cardstock. I just added bling and kindyglitz, and I love the result. Today I had a bit of a clean up in the craft room, and did some cutting on the cricut, so I’ll sit tonight and use all my cut out bits on some dinosaur cards! Til tomorrow….
Reflections.
Tonights card is made using a Prima paper 6″pad called reflections. there are some nice papers in this pad, and I didn’t have to add too much more to my card. I even did some paper ripping, although I still have trouble with that whole ripping technique! I sponged the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink, and stamped a couple of flower images from Stampin Up stamp set -Vintage vogue – onto some more patterned paper and cut them out and layered them up, and thats it!Too cold for crafting tonight, so its a night in front of the heater with a good book! Til tomorrow…..
Dancing lady
When I saw Kaisercrafts new papers – Velvet Ensemble – I immediately thought they were terrific for mens cards, but the first card I made with it was this one. The Dancing Lady image comes on a sheet with quite a few other images, was its really value for money. The only other thing I used here was some kindyglitz, and Stampin Up Riding hood red cardstock.Today I’ve been making mens cards, and thinking about Fathers day cards.Over the next couple of weeks I’d like them finished so I can start on xmas! Til tomorrow…..
Once upon a springtime
Tonights card is made using patterned paper and images from Graphic 45 Once apon a springtime range. All I had to add was flowers and leaves die cut on my cuttlebug with Stampin Up sizzix dies – Leaves, and Blossom party.Of course i couldn’t resist adding a bit of kindyglitz! I love this flower die, and think I’ll be basing my next village lesson on cards made with it.Work today, so very tired tonight, I think a night by the heater with a good book is in order.Til tomorrow…..
Cuttlebug and Stampin Up
This card was made using a couple of stampin up sizzix dies – Leaves and Blossom Party. They work perfectly through my cuttlebug, and I’m really impressed with the result. A lot of my cards are going to feature this flower die. The cardstock I used was Certainly celery, pretty in pink and pink pirouette. The males in my house think its too pink, but I say you can never have too much pink! What do you all think?Another cold day here today, so nothing done outside, and lots of crafting inside! Til tomorrow…..
Latest cuttlebug card
I’ve had quite a few kids cards lately, so I thought I would break it up and post my latest cuttlebug card, as I know a lot of you visit to see what I have been up to with my trusty cuttlebug. Tonights card relies soley on my cuttlebug, I used white and silver cardstock, a butterfly die, and 2 embossing folders – Couture collections – pinstripe and drifting Endless. I just added a little matching ribbon to complete. I have a couple of days off now, so I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time in my craft room.Til tomorrow….
Vintage cameos
I have certainly made good use of my cricut Heritage cartridge, and used it to cut these cameos for this group of cards. The papers are by Melissa Francis, and I love the softness of these new papers. I also used Stampin up and bazzil cardstock, My minds eye lost and found brads, kaisercraft pearls and asstorted lace.Today I have been doing some orders that I fell a bit behind with, but have cleared them, so its back to creating! Til tomorrow…..
