Dress cards

I’m always trying to come up with new ideas for dress cards, as they are very popular for teenage girls. For these ones I hand cut the dresses from October Afternoon “thrift shop”paper and used the same collection on the backgrounds. the rest of the cards were made up with assorted buttons,ribbon,flowers and lace. The tags on two of the cards are Melissa Frances mini flashcards. I have finished my birthday book, just waiting for a template for the actual pages, and then I’ll be in business! Til tomorrow…..

Bo Bunny Gabrielle

Todays post is a card I made for my sister to give to Mum for her birthday recently.I used Bo Bunny Gabrielle patterned paper, stampin up cardstock, a little ribbon and kindyglitz and a bit of fussy cutting! This is beautiful paper, and I am looking forward to playing some more with it! Til tomorrow…..

Prima madeline

Todays card is a birthday card made with Prima Marketings new paper and stickers – Madeline. I also used Kaisercraft pearls, and just fussy cut around the design. Probably no card making tonight as its shopping night! Til tomorrow….

Candy lane

On a recent clean out I came across some Candy Lane (Kaisercraft ) papers and chipboard that I hadn’t used so I created these cards to use up the papers, and make some room for recent purchases. I used stampin Up cardstock. quick post tonight as I work later on a Monday now, and I’m teaching the blokes around here how to cook a meal, and its not going well…Til tomorrow….

Once apon a springtime

As promised, a break from Mothers day cards, although this card would work as a mothers day card. I have used Graphic 45 Once apon a springtime, Bazzil cardstock, and websters pages trim.Tonight I’m going to have a browse in the Oxford Impressions stamp website, because they have some new releases, and then into the card room! Lush

Todays card uses My Minds Eye Lush papers and brad, stampin Up cardstock – Riding hood red, and basic black, a metal Tim Holtz flower, some black ribbon and a martha stewart punch. The paper is flocked so its wonderfully tactile. We had a cardmaking afternoon over at mums today, although I was making a Birthday book. Something different for me, but nice to have a change from cards! Til tomorrow…..

Chanteuse patterned papers

Tonights card uses Kaisercraft Chanteuse patterned papers and chipboard, a red brad and Kindyglitz – thats it!- I was over at my favourite paper shop today, and discovered the new Websters pages papers – (Gorgeous) so I’ve been creating all afternoon, but have stopped now beacause I’m off to watch The Wedding! Shaped Cards

Todays cards use my new Cricut cartridge – Wild Cards. This is a great cartridge as it cuts all sorts of shaped cards,but as usual I haven’t had time to really play with it yet. However I have managed to make these two cupcake cards with it. I also used assorted stampin Up cardstock, and lots of glitter and bling!Til tomorrow…..

1 card 5 colourways!

Tonights group of cards were done for an order – my lady wanted the same card, with 5 different colours. Stampin up Elements of style stamp set was perfect for this, and it was quite an interesting project. I used stampin up cardstock, and a little ribbon and a bit of Kindyglitz. I coloured the stamped images with stamp pads and an aquabrush ( my favourite way of colouring images) . I think I like the orange one best – what do you think? Til tomorrow……

Bubblegum Hills

Todays cards were made using Kaisercrafts release for last month – Bubblegum Hills Paper and matching chipboard. This is great paper for teen girls, with lots of different designs in the one paper pad. I’ve been busy this week making Mothers day cards, but tonight I’m going to do some stamping with my new Bo bunny stamps and papers, just for a change! I have also got an idea for a new cuttlebug card design which I’m going to try out. Til tomorrow…..
