Stamped Birthday

Todays card is the first card I’ve stamped for a while, and I found I’d missed this technique, so now that I’m on holidays I’m hoping to do a bit more of it. The cardstock and papers are Stampin Up, and the stamp is a little single stamp put out by Kaisercraft. Very cute. I stamped it onto metallic card with stazon, and coloured it with my stampin up ink pads and an aqua brush. Today was my lesson over at paper flourish, and the ladies and I had a lovely time. Now i’m going into my craft room for  a long session of cardmaking to try and catch up on some things that I’ve been too busy to do, and of course dig out some bits and pieces to take to our marathon cardmaking day tomorrow. I’ll be able to tell you how many Mothers day cards we are sending off tomorrow. Til then….

Magic Happens No. 4

Quick post today as I have to go to the hospital to visit a sick Uncle. This card was part of a group I made when I first bought Kaisercrafts Magic happens papers. The fairy is fussy cut from one of the papers, and the castle came in the chipboard pack.I used stampin up cardstock. til tomorrow….

Card in a Card!

Three views of the same card today, because I wanted you to see how this one was constructed. Its quite easy, just a fair bit of layering. I used Bazil cardstock for the pink, and Stampin Up cardstock for the green, and the paper is Kaisercraft English Rose. The only other thing needed was a length of ribbon to tie it all together.I quite like this style, and I  have done a few with different papers now. Market day today, a lot of stalls, quite a few people, and the time flew, but tired now, so I’ll cook tea and very early bed tonight! Til tomorrow….

Butterflies

Here is the third card I made using Kaisercrafts new paper collection – Magic Happens. I also used the matching chipboard, and stampin up cardstock – Taken with teal and Night of Navy. Today has been a busy day in the kitchen stewing peaches from our tree. We had a bumper crop, – 16 buckets. We gave bucketfuls away to family, neighbours and the retirement village, but I still stewed 5 buckets and filled the freezer! We will have peaches all winter, can’t complain about that even if at the moment I can’t even look at them! Til tomorrow….

Magic Happens No.2

Tonights post is the second card I have made using Kaisercrafts new paper – Magic happens. I fussy cut the fairy out of the paper, and used Stampin Up cardstock – Taken with Teal and lovely Lavender, sadly both retired colours but luckily I stocked up! Some bling, ribbon and lace, and thats it finished! Til tomorrow….

Magic Happens

This is the first card I made using the new kaisercraft range of paper – Magic happens. I also used Stampin Up cardstock – Blushing Bride. I have made a few with this range – its great for young girls. I will intersperse them in the blog over the next week or so. Today I have been trying out new things for my class, I want to get a couple of lessons ahead, but I have hit a crafters block, so will take a break and get tea organised instead! Til tomorrow….

Heritage cricut cartridge

I made this card after trying the technique I mentioned a few posts down using my cuttlebug and the swiss dots folder. I managed to only emboss the border of the cardstock, leaving a circle in the centre unembossed. I cut the swirls and cameo with my cricut, and added lace and a brad from My Minds Eye – Lost and Found. There are 35 gorgeous brads in this one packet – a bargain! The cardstock is Stampin Up Bashful blue and basic black, and I can’t for the life of me remember what the paper is – I blame the extreme heat! Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante No. 2

Tonights card is the second one I have made using Graphic 45 ‘s new range of papers called Steampunk Debutante. On this one I have used Stampin Up cardstock – Taken with Teal, and some Bazzill cardstock. I also used a Prima flower, and Kaisercraft rhinestones. No cards tonight as my new craft room has been painted, but I want to paint the shelves before I put all my stamp sets on them . Now its getting exciting! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante

I love the colours on the new Steampunk Debutante  papers from graphic 45. On this card I have used Bazzill cardstock, Kaisercraft rhinestones and brad, and a bit of lace.I have been having a bit of a clean up craft wise as I will soon be moving into my own craft room, its so exciting – no more crafting on the dining table, and I will be able to keep my cricut, cuttlebug and sewing machine set up permanently – yay- I will post photos as soon as I am organised. Til Tomorrow…..

Handbags!

A very early post today,as there is something technical that has to happen to the computer today apparently. This card was made using a base card of Stampin up cardstock, and then anything blingy I could stick to it! I fussy cut the bags and hat from a scrap piece of patterned paper that I had  hanging about. Til Tomorrow…
