This is the last card in the Love Letter series. For this one I used Stampin Up Love letter designer paper, Stampin Up Newsprint designer paper, Bazzill cardstock, a Stamp it stamp, and Prima Say it with pearls and Say it with studs. I made the flowers by punching circles, then cutting them into spirals and rolling up. I have enjoyed showing off this series, and tomorrow night I will have something totally different – hopefully!. English Rose
Todays card uses Stampin Up cardstock – Pink piroutte, and kaisercraft English Rose 6″ pad and pearls. I made the flowers with a sizzix die – an investment worth its weight in gold! I used a stamp it stamp for the greeting. I have one more card to show you using this paper, and then I promise no more! I love this series of papers and will continue using them until Mothers day, but I will keep the cards to myself. I have so much new patterned papers that I want to play with including the new Steampunk debutante from graphic 45 so there will still be plenty happening on the blog! Til tomorrow….
Because I care stamp – take 2!
I sent this card to My Auntie for her birthday. I really enjoy colouring this stamp which is Stampin Up – Because I care. I used choc chip and regal rose stampin up cardstock, and a bit of scrap kaisercraft patterned paper, and a loopy ribbon I had in my ribbon drawer.Tonight I am getting my gear together to head over to Paper Flourish tomorrow to set up this months lesson.I am so looking forward to it – it feels like ages since I was there, but it was just before xmas. So much has happened since then! Til tomorrow….
Fussy Cut butterfly
Hello, welcome back! I hope everyone had a great xmas, and all got everything you asked Santa for! Todays card uses the new kaisercraft paper – English Rose, with some kaisercraft pearls and pink organza ribbon. I hand cut a butterfly and ran it through an embossing folder.I have had a bit of a cardmaking break, but hope to get back to it tomorrow. Til tomorrow….
Devonshire Tea
For tonights card I have used Kaisercraft Devonshire Tea patterned paper, and rhinestones. I also used a Martha stewart punch and a Prima flower. The smaller flowers are made with more patterned paper and a sizzix die which cuts the flower shape into a spiral and then you roll it up. I love this! I have only played with it up at the shop, but I have one on order, and will get so much use out of it. It cuts in two sizes, and the ones I made were the smaller size.I am putting together a folder of card ideas for my lessons, so tonight I am going to be working on some more samples for it.Til tomorow….
Basic Grey Curio
Todays card uses another favourite set of designer papers – Basic grey. this one is from the new range called Curio, and I have combined it with stampin Up cardstock – early espresso, and a K & Co chipboard sticker from Susan winget. I spent this afternoon over at Mums making tags for my xmas pressies, and I think I can honestly say I am finished with xmas! ( The creative making stuff anyway) Til tomorrow….
Vintage Garden

The little bird is from Websters pages Natures storybook die cut sticker sheet. The butterfly is fussycut from Prima “Flights of Fancy Miss pretty”and I finished off with some kaisercraft pearls. I made my 10 xmas cards for my order last night, and have packed up the xmas gear now, but have just realised I will have to unpack it all to make my gift tags!I think tonight will just be a t.v. viewing night as I am still flat out at work, and a bit tired. Happy 80th birthday
October Afternoon swing stamp
Tonights card uses Stampin Up daffodil delight cardstock, and October afternoon Thriftshop patterned paper and Tree swing stamp.I stamped the image a couple of times, and fussy cut and pasted different elements. I like stamping like this, because I am still finding my niche in the colouring department. In the new year I would like to investigate copic markers but it is quite expensive to get started with them, so I might play around with the shop ones first. I do tend to reach for the ink pads and aqua brushes, so I think that is the technique I might concentrate on. What do you all colour your images with?Til tomorrow….
Art in Motion #2
Tonights card is my second play with my new art in Motion stamp from Happen Inc. This time I coloured the image with watercolour pencils instead of ink. I used stampin Up cardstock – Poppy parade, K&Co Lifes Journey Diecuts, a red ribbon, and I dyed the white lace with a couple of drops of re-inker in a mist it spray bottle.( A great way to match your lace to your project. Til tomorrow….
