Tea at Elsies birthday

Todays card is made using Bazzill cardstock, Kaisercraft Tea at Elsies patterned paper, Kaisercraft pearls, and ribbon and lace from my craft supply. Kay and I had a lovely day over at mums today, making cards, and showing each other new ideas, and I got my new toy from Kay – a brayer – but I am going to have to practise with it a fair bit before anyone sees anything I do with it! Til tomorrow…

Swiss dots and flowers

Here is a card with not a piece of patterned paper in sight! I woke up with this card in my head, and couldn’t settle until I had made it. I used stampin Up close to cocoa and pretty in pink cardstock,Marianne designs flower diecut, cuttle bug swiss dots folder, Stampin up flower punch, Martha stewart butterfly punch, Kaisercraft pearls ,kindyglitz and some ribbon from my craft supply. All the boys are at the gym tonight, so its an uninterrupted evevning of xmas card making! Til tomorrow….

Dress cards

Tonights cards were made using Bazzill cardstock and Kaisercraft Tea at Elsies 6″paper pad. The ribbon and button came  from my craft supply, and I also made good use of my Stampin Up corner Rounder. These are simple cards to make, and the colour combinations are endless, so are a favourite of mine.I have been enjoying playing with my new Cricut, but am now eagerly waiting for some cartridges I ordered to come in the mail, meanwhile tonight I will make some quick simple cards. Til tomorrow….

Tonights card was made using Stampin up black cardstock, and graphic 45 patterned paper – Le Romantic collection – Sweetheart of mine, and Baby2bride collection – Baby button Bingo. also used a stampin up label die and Kaisercraft pearls. Today has been spent getting my boxes ready for Sundays Market, but tonight I am officially starting my Xmas cards! I opened my xmas box this afternoon, and got excited all over again with the papers I found in there that I hadn’t used last year. Happy 50th Birthday

Tonights card was made with a scrap of patterned paper found in my paper drawer, ( I showed you the other card made with this paper a couple of posts ago) so I can’t tell you the name of it. I used Stampin up cardstock, a Prima flower and pearls, K &Co Blossomwood acetate butterflies and swirls , and a bit of Kindyglitz. I’m going to sit down now and make some cards, but tonight is the first time in ages that I am sitting down with no clear idea of what I am going to do, so it’s going to be interesting! Til tomorrow…

Scrap paper card

Todays card was made with a bit of scrap paper that I found in my paper drawer when I was having a bit of a tidy up. So that was the end of the tidying, while I made this card. I can’t remember the name of the paper, but I used stampin up cardstock – Pixie Pink, and a Stampin up label die. Also used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch,  Kaisercraft rhinestone strips and kindyglitz. Today I have been making more xmas cards, to try and finish off my personal challenge to see how many cards I can make out of one 6″ paper pad.I’m up to 18, and think I can get at least another 6, so we will see. Til tomorrow…

Vintage Lady

The glitches in the computer seem to be fixed, so its back to business as usual. I didn’t realise how much we all relied on the internet until the last couple of days. Todays card is another favourite. I used Kaisercraft 6″ pad – Lush – and Kaisercraft embossed paper – Ginko. The lady stamp was from Hot off the Press Vintage lady collection, and I stamped her 3 times onto various Lush patterned papers and cut her out. I prefer stamping like this as I am still learning the ins and outs of colouring my stamped images. The flowers were from my craft supply, and the label was from Kaisercraft lush series as well. Til tomorrow….

Japanese Lady

This is the third time tonight I have tried to update my blog. Seems ok now, but it was incredibly slow before, we must have used up our hours, so hopefully I will be able to update daily this week, but it might be a bit erratic. I will apologise in advance if thats the case! Tonights card was made using Stampin Up cardstock, Gold paper and stamp from my craft supply, and Bird stamp from Stampin Up -Eastern Influences. The patterned paper and tag are from the Kaisercraft ‘Lush’ collection. I stamped the lady twice, and fussy cut . I’m busy making some samples for my portfolio as I will be teaching a class starting in October at a new store that is opening here in Adelaide. It’s called Paper Flourish, check out the website for opening times and class details. find us at www. paperflourish.com.Til tomorrow….

70th Birthday

This card is what happens when I break my golden rule and only buy one piece of patterned paper from a range! I liked this paper, but there wasn’t any other papers from this range left in the shop. I bought it anyway, and when I got home I had nothing to match it. It is a very difficult colour to match, but I didn’t give up and diluted some stampin up rich razzleberry ink and died  some white flowers and paper and punched out some butterflies. The paper is Bella Allegory ‘Birdsong” and I used c’oredinations cardstock. It ended up looking o.k., but I won’t forget the 2 sheet rule again!Today was photo day, and while Nathan was busy with that I thought I would rearrange my Stampin up cardstock into the new colour groups. That took 2 hours! and seriously cut into my cardmaking time, so not much done today! Til tomorrow….

K & Co Bird

I love doing these Nature cards, and this one was really simple. White  cardstock , Patterned paper and chipboard bird from K & Co Susan Winget  nature collection, a flower from my craft supply and kaisercraft pearl strips.Short post tonight as I have so many new things to play with I am beside myself! My order from Stampin Up arrived today, and Mum and I had hit the craft shops yesterday mainly looking at xmas supplies for our big card challenge in October, but of course bought lots of other things as well, so now I am off to create! Til tomorrow….
