Princess

I also used Stampin up black cardstock,a chipboard circle, ribbon from my supply and the greeting stamp was from stampin up – rivetting. Still making a couple of last minute cards for the market, but I’m ready to call it a night, and go watch a bit of tv with the boys. Til tomorrow….

80th Birthday

Tonights card is one I made for an order, and I used a Le Suh 3d sheet on it. I make a lot of 3d cards, but I don’t put them up on my blog because I don’t employ a lot of skills to make them, but this one turned out a treat so I though I would share. The cardstock was Stampin up Bravo Burgundy and Websters Pages patterned paper, a prima flower, kaisercraft pearls and kindyglitz. I hope this makes sense, my whole space has been invaded by my whole family. Why do they all have to be in the same square metre as me? I much prefer the nights they all go to the gym! Aren’t I terrible! Til tomorrow….

A Kind word

Wasn’t today glorious! I spent  some time sitting out in the sun, just enjoying – it brought back memories of long ago ( well , quite long ago!) summer school holidays that seemed to stretch on forever, playing cricket in the street, mud pies in the back garden, and Dad hitching up the Sunwagon, all of us crammed into the car  heading off north  to  the Flinders Ranges to admire the wildflowers! So I thought it would be a good day to show you these cards I made with Stampin Up stamps – A Kind Word. I also used stampin up cardstock – Pretty in Pink, and Kaisercraft patterned paper Little Miss and Little Man. I used some Bazzill cardstock , kindyglitz and flowers from my craft supply. Lets hope for more days like today! Til tomorrow….

Fairytale

I saw this paper and couldn’t resist it!I have made 2 different shaped cards here, but used the same idea on both of them. The paper lends itself to fussy cutting beautifully. The patterned paper is 3 bugs in a rug –  Savannah magical castle, fairy princess and bibidi bobbidi booo, and I also used Bazzill cardstock, my nestabilities circles, and cuttlebug, Kindyglitz and a corner rounder. Today Kay and I did our embellishment class with the card ladies at the retirement village, and a good time was had by all! I have to say, I have never seen them so quiet! They were totally engrossed and concentrating, the time flew and they all went home with lots of lovely embellishments to decorate their cards with. Our next joint project is in October when we will be doing an all day card making class to make xmas cards to send over to the troops, for them to then send on to their loved ones. The ladies love doing these kind of cards, and before Mothers Day they made over 80 cards for the troops to send home so I would say they will be aiming for over 100 this time! Thats a lot of cardstock and paper so I will have to go through my xmas box to see what I can donate to the cause!Til tomorow…

40th Birthday

Market Sunday is only a week and a bit away, and I have to replenish my boxes. On Saturday I have a joint class with Kay, where we will be teaching our ladies how to make their own embellishments, so no cardmaking for me then! Tonights card was made with the last bit of Prima patterned paper (I did love that paper!)Pistiche collection and Stampin up cardstock – Black and Bazzill cardstock – cream for the shoe. a bit of bling and Kindyglitz, and done !Keep warm, and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Mum

I recently purchased this paper, but have only had a chance to make this one card with it so far. My fingers are itching to get back to it, so no doubt there will be more cards in future blogs! The paper is K & Co Susan Winget Nature, and I have also used the matching clearly yours icon, and adhesive chipboard icon. Bazzill was the cardstock, and I used Websters pages fabric ribbon along the bottom of the card, and finished off with some Kaisercraft pearls.
