Another card made with some old Echo Park papers – For the record, made while I was meant to be clearing out some space for new stuff – this is why my craft room is overflowing – I am too easily distracted! I used stampin up cardstock, and kaisercraft mini sticker letters and a kaisercraft brad for this one along with some mesh.I have had a lovely morning with my mature ladies, and hope to spend a little time in the craft room this evening working on a class for the retirement village ladies. One for the boys….
I spent a day last week going through my paper collection, and as I was tidying, I kept stopping to make cards with the papers i was unearthing, so over the next few days I will show you these – some of the papers may not be available now, but you would be able to get the same result with current papers, the sketch ideas work with most papers. This one was Echo Park For the record paper collection, and I used Stampin Up Hearts a Flurtter dies to die cut the banner across the top. The little letters are kaisercraft mini stickers, and the paper already had “boy” splet out – Handy1 Til tomorrow….
Basic grey serenade number 2
A mens card today! Basic Grey serenade 6″ pad, stampin Up cardstock, perfectly penned stamp( for the sentiment) and Stampin Up by the seashore stamp set for the shells. I stamped one image on cream cardstock, and the other on patterned paper. I like stamping on patterned paper, and it worked well in this case. I have spent today setting up a class for the retirement village, I might head into the craft room now for a short while, but I think tonight is going to be a lazy one in front of the T.V. Til tomorrow….
October Afternoon farm girl number 13
Here it is – the Final October afternoon farm Girl card – what a marathon! Thanks for sticking with it! I always try to make a male card with any of the collection I play with, so this is it for the October afternoon farm Girl collection. I love the woodgrain paper, so it was easy to use it as my first layer, onto a base of Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I cut out a couple of the seed packets, and wrapped one with twine, and stamped a wheelbarrow with my Stampin Up Countryside stamp set.Tomorrow onto something different! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft tropicana number 5

This is the last for now, of my Kaisercraft Tropicana series. There are 2 images here, so don’t forget to scroll down a bit to see them both! I used the 12″ paper and collectables for this card, and punched three circles down the front of the card. Inside the card I positioned three images from the pack of collectables, so that they show through when the card is closed. This is a card that was easy to make, but has a lot of added interset to it – you could completely change it around – use feminine paper and add die cut butterflies to the inside circles – this design has lots of possiblities, and I will be experimenting with it more when I finally find some time to myself in the craft room! On to something else next post…. Til tomorrow….
KAIsercraft tropicana number 4
For my fourth card in my Kaisercraft tropicana series, I have used some of the 12 x 12 paper and the matching collectables, and matted the image on some Stampin Up Early espresso cardstock. The card base is Stampin Up Early Avocado, and I joined the tags from the packet of collectables with a length of string. Even though there is some hibiscus’s in the corner I think this one would be suitable for a male! Looking forward to an evening in the craft room, I haven’t been in there all week, and my fingers are itching to get started on something! Til tomorrow….
kaisercraft Tropicana number 3
This third card is made with Kaisercraft tropicana 12 x 12 ” papers. I matted each image onto Stampin Up early espresso cardstock, and the card base was made with Stampin Up so saffron.I have had a busy week this week, what with work and my card classes, and in between I have been trying to sort out all my ribbons, buttons, flowers etc into see through containers to make them easier to find. I will continue that tonight, then I should be all organised for the week end! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Tropicana number 2

Stampin Up countryside number 6
Here is the last in my Stampin Up countryside stamp set series – I have loved working with this stamp set, and it will be afavourite choice when I have to make those mens cards. I have used the truck image here and stamped it in Cherry cobbler ink onto very vanilla cardstock ( everything used here today is stampin up except for the button). Other cardstock used is cherry cobbler and soft sude. I embossed the soft suede with my square lattice embossing folder. The sentiment is a stamp from the curly cute set, and I added a button and bit of linen thread to finish.I have spent most of today restoring some order to my craft room, I have been so busy the past month that everything was just everywhere, but now I can find things again it’s time for some serious crafting! Til tomorrow….
stampin up Country side number 5
For my fifth card in my Stampin Up countryside Series I used 2 of the stamps in the set, and stamped them with early Espresso ink. The card base is choc chip cardstock, and I also used crumbcake, very vanilla and close to cocoa( retired colour) all from Stampin Up. I used my woodgrain embossing folder, again inking it up before I embossed, to get that lovely shaded effect. A little linen thread, and this one was done! I have been making some boxes for my cards this afternoon, so now it’s off into the craft room to make some cards to put in them ! Til tomorrow….
