This is another card made with my Pink Paislee London market 6″ papers, and ephemera pack. I added some Stampin Up goodies to this one my young vermillion stamp – first stamped then coloured with my sponge daubers, and leaves die cut with my little leaves die, and some bakers twine to thread through the bunting. I have turned on the heater in the craft room, and intend to have a long session in there tonight – I am feeling very creative! Til tomorrow….

A mix of papers and some twine…
I have combined a couple of different papers here for this male birthday card ( would work just as well for Fathers day. From the base – Stampin Up cardstock – Not quite navy, the backfground paper and banner – Simple stories Awesome, the tag – stampin up naturals ivory, the denim pocket – october afternoon sasparilla. The pocket was stamped with my kazzazz stamp – large pocket, and then cut out – looks like the real thing doesn’t it? and I added craftworkcards candi and threaded the tag with stampin up bakers twine. This is a great card if you are giving a gift voucher because is fits into the pocket. Someone today was my 50,ooo th visitor – that’s exciting and what keeps me blogging – thank you all so much for continuing to visit! After all those girly butterfly cards it’s time to look at a few male cards. I have put a happy birthday greeting on this one, but it would also work as a fathers day card. the papers are from the Simple stories Awesome range, and I fussy cut around the bike and mounted it with 3d squares. All I added were 3 Craftworkcard candis in the top corner. I distressed and inked the edges, ad that is all there is to this one!I have a couple of orders to complete tonight, so Til tomorrow….
Another fathers day card
I saw a card simialr to this while I was blog hopping, and thought I could repeat it with the supplies i had on hand, and this is what i came up with. I used Stampin Up cardstock – crumbcake,Very vanilla, early espresso and Cherry cobbler and the boat stamp is from Stampin Up the Open Sea stamp set.I used an embossing folder which i can’t recall the brand name of and my circle nestabilities. For around the port hole I dotted platinum liquid pearls, and my stamp pad of choice was stampin up choc chip. Another day spent planning lessons, nearly done now! Til tomorrow…
Male card – Birthday/fathers day
Todays card is a male card suitable for a birthday or fathers day. I used Stampin Up cardstock ( not quite navy), and embossing folder – square lattice, and aKaszazz stamp ( pocket large). I found a scrap of textured brown cardstock for the belt, and stamped the hammer using my Stampin Up totally tools stamp set.I just had to add a couple of brads, and a handmade tag to slide into the pocket and it was finished! The good thing about this card is that you could slide a gift card into the pocket. Today has been spent finalising my books for the end of the financial year, but after tea I will be in the craft room planning out my next vilage lesson. Til tomorrow….
Simple Stories Awesome 7
This is the last male card that I will show for a little while – we will have a break from mens cards tomorrow. The paper is Simple Stories Awesome, and I used the 12 x 12 sheets. All the images were on the sheets, it was just a matter of cutting out the bits that I wanted. The stars are from the matching sticker sheet, and I distressed and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz rusty Hinge ink. The cardstock is Stampin Up Cajun craze. Tomorrow something girly! Mens card ideas
I got a little distracted but we are back to my mens card series using Simple Stories Awesome paper. I also used my spellbinders dies – Stars five and lacey Pennant for the banners and stars..Great paper for mens cards.Today nathan filmed me colouring my stamped images for a youtube video which will be up here tomorrow for those of you who have asked how I colour my stamped images.otherwise today I have been working on a secret project for my sisters upcoming BIG birthday.
