Cheers to you

Another male card! I have used a Stampin Up stamp set – Cheers to you that was one of my first purchases from stampin Up to create this one, and teamed it up with My Minds Eye Be Amazing 6″ paper pad, a recent purchase. I coloured the stamped images with twinkling H2O’s.A quick and easy mens card. I had alovely day today over at the retirement village where we conducted our annual Mothers day cardmaking for the troops. The ladies did a great job, and when I left the count was up to 60 cards made and ready to send.I will be in the card room tonight doing a couple of orders,. Til tomorrow….

The Open Sea

While we are on a bit of a roll with mens cards, I thought I would post this one I made, using all stampin Up supplies. The stamp set is called the open sea, and I used sahara sand, cherry cobbler and not quite navy cardstock, and the same in ink. I tied some bakers twine down one side. A day off tomorrow and I am certainly looking forward to that! I will be doing a fair ammonut of crafting – I have a Mothers day cards marathon to attend, and a couple of orders to fulfill. Shopping tonight, so no crafting tonight.. Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 kraft reflections

I bought a couple of sheets of Graphic 45 new range – Kraft Reflections because I thought they would make great mens cards, and this is my first design. I used some graphic 45 A proper Gentleman patterned paper, and some stampin up cardstock run through the cuttlebug witth a cuttlebug clockworks folder. The bakers twine is from stampin up.I have used lots of this bakers twine – it comes as a 25metre buy, and I am probably going to have to buy more! Back at work today – very sore feet – I will just be relaxing tonight! Til tomorrow…..

Sweet Nothings male card

Here is a male card i made using one of the kaisercraft sweet nothings12 x 12 sheet of paper and a couple of the collectables. The Happy Birthday is Stampin Up perfectly penned. Simple but effective! A very productive day today, finished one order, and just a couple more to do … Hopefully this weekend I will make some cards to photo, otherwise we will have nothing to show on my blog next week!Tonight I am teaching a class over at the retirement village and looking forward to that. Til tomorrow….

Umbrella man…

I have put up 2 photos today, because I wanted to show the inside of this card. On the front I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder – clockworks, and 2 Tim Holtz sizzix dies – lampost and Umbrella man – I love him…..The clock face he is looking at is cut from a piece of Kaisercraft acrylic . I smudged a little distress ink along the bottom and on the light, and there is a circle die cut frame which was handily on my craft table at the time….For the inside I printed a favourite quote and the paper backing is kaisercraft Timeless. The cardstock used today is C’oredinations. I have had a very productive day in the craft room today, and have planned out my lessons for March at Paper Flourish, and set up the February lesson for the Village ladies.Makes up for all the time spent away from my room because of the heat.Til tomorrow….

Another Kiddies card…

Tonight we have another Kiddies card, this time using Kaisercraft Cock a doodle do papers and railway track stamp, and Stampin Up Choo Choo  stamp set and cardstock. This is another favourite of mine – I love making these little scenes and making up little stories in my head as I am putting it all together – I bet the farmer working away in his tractor is wishing he was off on holiday in that passing train – see …. that sort of thing! Have I shared too much or does everyone do that?Til tomorrow…..

Party Animals…

Very quick post tonight as it is shopping night…. The paper here is kaisercraft Party Animals, and I have done my favourite thing which is cut various images from the paper to make a little scene…. The cardstock is Stampin Up Marine mist. Til tomorrow…..

Cuttlebug card no.6

A very early post today as I have a retirement village class tonight. I found some Basic Grey paper that I have had for a long time ( Basic grey Mellow) and thought it would make a great male card. I teamed it up with my sizzix rosettte die, and my new nestabilities nested lacey pennants. The cardstock I used was stampin Up early Espresso, and the ribbon and bakers twine are also from Stampin Up. The greetings stamps used were from stampin Up sets – birthday whimsy and riveting. Til tomorrow….

An early post today, and maybe I will still do one tonight as i have had a look through my photo files and I have lots that I haven’t shown yet so to catch up now and again I will do a double blog! This morning we are still on October Afternoon Sidewalk 8×8 paper pad and the matching Miscellany pack, which comes with those cute buttons! Til this afternoon……

October Afternoon Sidewalk

I love the  clear colours of October Afternoon papers, and this new collection called Sidewalk is no exception. I have used the matching Miscellany pak and the card just fell together. The good thing about this paper pad is that it matches perfectly with previous releases so not too much thinking required to put papers together! In other good news today, all my blog and e-mail problems are finally ironed out – Yay! I didn’t realise how much I enjoyed blogging until I ran into this trouble, but all is good now in Helens blogging world! Til tomorrow…..
