This is a good card for teenagers. The stamps are from the Live Loud collection by imaginisce, and I used my cuttlebug and music embossing folder with some coredinations cardstock for the background. I sanded the background after embossing. The card base is Stampin Up early espresso.I added a few brads for some more texture. I did make a couple of xmas cards last night but then got distracted with my new designer papers from stampin up, so will photo my efforts on the week end to show you! Til tomorrow…..

More male cards
A couple more fishy cards today using Kaisercraft Hunter gatherer collection. These papers are all in the 6″ pad, the fish are fussy cut from a 12 x 12 sheet. I have put this range back on my craft table, and I’m going to create some cards that are not fish related with it. There’s lots of scope for nature inspired cards with this collection. I have also been getting my market boxes ready, as I will be back this month on the 21st of August.Fathers day will be just after that, so I’m stocking up on them, so this is why you are all seeing so many mens cards this week!Til tomorrow….
Once apon a springtime….
For this card I did a bit of fussy cutting – there are lovely peter rabbit images on this paper – Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime. I also used my nestabilities labels 8 dies, and some bazzil cardstock. I will hit the card room tonight for a little while, to relax after my busy day at work, but no clear project in mind yet! Dinosaur tracks….
Just for a change I thought I would show you all a boys card I made with my Dinosaur tracks cartridge with my cricut. I used Basic grey paper for the background, and fussy cut the tree and smaller dinosaur from Imaginisce Dino roar paper. The volcanos and big dinosaur were cut with the cricut, and then I ran the dinosaur through a cuttlebug folder. Tonight I’m going to dig out my xmas box. Its early I know, but next week my ladies from the retirement village are doing a marathon cardmaking day to make xmas cards for the troops, so its time to use up last years leftovers to make way for lots of new stuff! Til tomorrow….
Football cards
One reason I was so pleased to purchase Docrafts Pappermania Nostalgia stamp set was because there was an image of a footballer, something I have been searching for for ages. I couldn’t wait to get home and make these two cards of our Adelaide football teams. I used stampin Up cardstock in whisper white, basic black, taken with teal ( retired), real red, yoyo yellow ( retired) and night of navy. I will be in trouble when my stock of those 2 retired colours run out! must run, we have a 21st tonight. til tomorrow….
Teen boys card
I picked up a great stamp set the other day – Nostalgia Pastimes by docrafts papermania. It has lots of great images for mens cards and this is one of them. I used Stampin up cardstock for the base ( Early Espresso) and some Coredinations put through the cuttlebug with Marg’s melodies ( cuttlebug brand) embossing folder.I sanded that back a bit, and added a couple of brads, and done!Sorted out my Market boxes today, not much left in them, so I won’t go to the market next month, and concentrate on building up my stock. Til tomorrow….
Velvet Ensemble
I made this card using a sizzix huge die to cut the cardstock – great with a die because it takes all the hassle out of measuring. I used the die over at Paper flourish, its too big to go through a standard machine. The papers I used were Velvet Ensemble by Kaisercraft. These papers are great for mens cards. Quite a busy day at the market today, and I’m going to skip next month so that I can refresh all my boxes. Til tomorrow…..
Toy box collection
This little bike is so similar to one my youngest sister had when she was little – I love it! The paper and stickers are from Crate Paper ( Toy box collection) and the cardstock was stampin up. I used some red buttons and a bit of cotton too. Today I’ve been stocking up my boxes, as its Market day on Sunday, the weeks are flying .It feels like I was just there not so long ago. This is possibly my last day down at Pooraka Market, as they have increased the price of the stall spaces, so I’m looking around at other alternatives. Til tomorrow….
Stampin Up sailboat with cuttlebug
Todays card didn’t photo too well – the silver embossing on the boat gave Nathan a big headache, so this one looks better in real life! I used coredinations cardstock for the cuttlebug embossing and then lightly sanded it. I also used stampin up cardstock, and a couple of brads. I am officially on holiday now, so plan to catch up on some sleep, do some reading, cleaning out of cupboards, and of course lots of cardmaking! Til tomorrow….
