A couple of weeks ago I went through my collection of papers, and in an attempt to reduce it a bit I made up a few cards from each collection. This one is Kaisercraft Up Up and away, and the cardstock used is Stampin up.Its been a lazy public holiday today, with a smattering of cardmaking, and a fair bit of lazing around and reading! Til tomorrow…..

Owl punch & Cheers to you
I made tonights card for a work mate, and used scrap patterned paper, Stampin Up cardstock – Early espresso and cherry cobbler, and my owl punch and Stampin Up Cheers to you stamp set.I added 3 gold brads on the bottom circle, and I couldn’t resist putting wobbly eyes on the owl holding the mug of beer. I stamped the mug, coloured it with twinkling h2o’s and cut it out.I enjoy doing cards like this, as the characters seem to come to life and have personalities of their own. Little conversations take place in my head as I put them all together. My sister thinks I’m mad – maybe I am – too much time alone in the craft room!Til tomorrow….
Oxford Impressions Truck&Barn
Tonights card is made using Oxford Impressions Truck and barn stamps from the Farm Boy collection. The cardstock Is Stampin Up Close to cocoa and Riding hood red, I sponged my own background, and the gravel under the truck was done with a stamp from Stampin Up Bird on a branch set. I was at the market today, and I have a lot of work ahead of me to replenish my boxes, but I am easily distracted, and found myself blog hopping over to Shirleys blog : http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com/2011/01/join-us.html
and learnt how to emboss with the cuttlebug and folders, leaving a plain shape in the middle of the card – It looks quite simple and you could make the plain bit any shape you wanted to. I am off to try it now, Thank you Shirley for the great idea! Til tomorrow….
Oxford Impressions Tractor No.2
I missed last nights post as apparently we were backing up the computer, so I thought I would do an early one today. This is the second card I have made using Oxford impressions tractor from the country Girl set. This time I brayered the background ( still getting to grips with this technique) and stamped a couple of twiggy bits from my Stampin up set – Bird on a branch. The cardstock used is stampin Up choc chip. I am now set up in my craft room, thought I would have chucked a lot of stuff out in the move, but nothing went in the bin, and I found things I had completely forgotten about, and can’t wait to have a good long session to play with everything! Til tomorrow….
Oxford Impressions Tractor
Tonights card uses the tractor stamp from Oxford Impressions Country Girl set. I have have this stamp set since before christmas, but havent had a chance to play with it, and really only scratched the surface of what I want to do. Oh, for more hours in the day! The cardstock is Stampin Up soft suede, and the patterned paper is unknown from the bottom of one of my drawers, found while I was rummaging and I knew straight away what I wanted it for. that tree was crying out for an old tractor parked under it! An old button from Grans tin and some twine completed the card. The big move into my craft room has happened, with lots of forgotten bits and pieces rediscovered, and my head is buzzing with ideas, but a busy weekend coming up, with my class tomorrow, and market on sunday, so not sure how much cardmaking is going to be done. Til tomorrow…..

Stampin Up Owl Punch
Finally I have had time to play with my owl punch. There are many variations of this card on blogs throughout the land, and this is my take, although I have noticed that my little owl holding the balloons has a wing problem. That half circle was folded back to make a quarter circle for his wing, but he appears to have had a mishap in the photographing process.I used Wild wasabi ,close to cocoa and poppy parade stampin up cardstock, and a cuttlebug woodgrain folder which I inked with choc chip stampin up inkpad. I used various other punches and circle dies, some string and wobbly eyes to finish. I must go and pack my bag for tomorrows class, so til tomorrow…..
Websters pages male card
An earlier than usual post today, but I had a very late night last night, and I’m off to have a nap, and may not get a chance to blog later, so here I am. Todays card is made with stampin Up cardstock – Baja Breeze, and stampin up greeting stamps and the patterned paper is Websters pages, one of my favourite paper companies! I have finished with xmas cards, and packed up all my xmas bits and pieces. I’m now moving on and thinking about Mothers Day. Last year I made 80 Mothers day cards, and I expect those numbers wont change this year, so I plan to do a few a week starting now! Til tomorrow….

Yay! Til tomorrow….
