Tonights card came about by accident. I was mucking around with some ink and cotton balls, with a totally different card in mind, but when I saw the result of my dabbings I thought That looks like the sea and it needs a ship on it so thats what happened! The Cardstock is Stampin up choc chip and night of navy, and the stamps are Oxford Impressions In the deep. I added a bit of white gel pen for the tops of the waves. It never fails to amuse me that so often I see a card in my head, but when I sit down to make it the result is so often something completely different! My back is so much better today, so tomorrow will see me over at Paper flourish setting my november class, and doing some shopping too! Til tomorrow…

Guitar
Here is the partner to last nights card, using everything the same except the stamp, which is the Imaginisce snag em stamp – Live loud collection Guitar.Great for teenagers! I had a really good day today, I was over at Paper Flourish organising my class which is in 2 weeks time. I think the only trouble is going to be not buying anything when I am there. I always get so tempted by all the new goodies, and this months new Kaisercraft range is so gorgeous – really bright and cheerful – teapots and cupcakes – lovely! The rest of the household have a wrestling show this weekend, so I have the house to myself for a couple of days, and already the dining table is covered in paper, cardstock and tools. Bliss!…Til tomorrow….
Drums
Tonights card is something different. I stamped Kaisercraft sheet music stamp onto cream cardstock, and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink. I stamped Imaginisce snag em stamp – live loud collection, drum kit onto cream cardstock and sponged these edges too. I mounted it all onto stampin up black cardstock, and die cut a stampin up tag for the greeting. This was a cheap little stamp, but it is invaluble for teenage cards, which are always a challenge to do! Off to craft for a short while – til tomorrow….
Old guys rule
This is the other card I made using Creative Imaginations paper and stampin Up black cardstock.I’m not crafting tonight, I’ve had a very busy week at work, lots of new books to put on show, and I have a very early morning tomorrow morning, so I’m going to read my book ( I can’t put it down – Wildflower Hill by Kimberley Freeman) and have an early night.Til tomorrow….
Classic
This paper was a lucky find in a little shop I wandered into, and as soon as I saw it I thought of my husband and my brother – in -law, so thats their next birthday cards sorted! I used Stampin Up black , brilliant blue and riding hood red cardstock, some mesh ribbon and the paper was Creative Imaginations – Old Guys Rule! Off to have a good session, I still have new toys not yet played with as I have been busy doing orders. Til tommorrow….
Oxford Impressions Sailing ship
Tonights card uses Stampin Up cardstock- Bashful Blue and Night of Navy, and oxford impressions stamps ‘The Deep’. I used a stampin up greeting stamp, and stampin up tag die. A copper brad and copper embossing powder finished it off! This morning Mum and I visited a couple of craft shops, and I stocked up on some paper (surprise, surprise) and tomorrow we get our new release stampin up order, so all in all a good weekend cardmaking is coming up while we play with all our new things! Til Tomorrow….
Oxford Impressions truck
Male cards are always difficult to do, so when I saw the truck stamp in the Oxford Impressions Farm Boy set, I was really pleased. Here I’ve shown you 2, both using stampin up cardstock as the base, and just changed the colour of the truck, although on one I have added a bit of gravel under the truck using a stamp from stampin up bird on a branch set. I stamped the truck again on grey cardstock and cut out the wheels to give the card a little height. The ink was stampin up chocolate chip and sahara sand. a bit of string wrapped around the top of the card and done! The weather is awful, a storm is blowing through and things are blowing around the back garden. Just the weather for sitting by the heater and making cards! Til tomorrow….
Boy with dog
I have been busy today getting my boxes ready for the market on Sunday. If you are at a loose end Sunday morning come down to Adelaide produce market at Pooraka and say hi! I have a few cards to make for the above mentioned boxes, I didn’t realise I was so short on young ladies cards,so will be busy tonight while the boys are at the gym. Tonights card is a bit of fun, made with stampin up chocolate chip cardstock and Basic grey Mellow collection and matching diecuts. I mounted the die cuts on to the choc chip cardstock and cut around them to stop them from blending into the background paper.I will always buy at least 2 different papers from the same collection so that I have colour co-ordination but sometimes ,like tonights card, the colours match too well. I did break my 2 paper rule not long ago and only bought 1 sheet – what a disaster – you will see those results in a couple of weeks time! (Once the photographer has taken his photos). Til tomorrow…..
Dad
Tonights card is made with the new Kaisercraft up up and away papers and matching stamps. I also used Stampin up Mellow Moss cardstock, and stampin up ink pads – choc chip, old olive and really rust. I used a metallic pen to draw in the string from the balloons, and the balloons were stamped twice, cut out and layered on the card. Still cold, but the heater is on in here again, and it will be another fun night of card making!
Graphic 45 car
Tonights mens card was made using Bazzill and Stampin up cardstock, and Graphic 45 ‘ A Proper Gentleman ‘ patterned paper. The tag was made with a Stampin up Die and a little bit of string finished it off! A short blog tonight as my new stamps from oxford impressions have arrived, and I can’t wait to play with them!
