here are two more cards made with kaisercraft scrapyard paper collection, and matching collectables. On the top card I have stamped and heat embosed a vintage car from stampin up guy greetings stamp set, added some masculine trim and layered the collectables on top of each other for the sentiment ( the great cog shaped ones on the bottom had sentiments that I didnt want to use, so this was a great way to add more interest). The bottom card makes use of the identity strip across the bottom of one of the 12 by 12 sheets ( which had the handy birthday greeting), and again I have used the collectables as the feature on this one. day off today, so did the grocery shopping, a doctors appointment, and a quick run down to Paper Flourish to check out new papers etc for upcoming lessons. I saw the new kaisercraft releases for June ..Beautiful, particularly secret garden which is just gorgeous! Til tomorrow….

This month Kaisercraft released a collection called Scrapyard – perfect male themed papers. Here is the first card I made with this paper . I punched out the flags with a stampin up punch, and the rest was just the papers . I added two linen thread bows, and a couple of little copper circle stickers on the collectable greeting. Must be off – a full day of work ahead of me..til tomorrow…..
Back to kaisercraft Pop!

I have made quite a few cards with this paper collection – Kaisercraft Pop!,but it’s a collection that I pick up, make a few and put it away for a week or two, then get it out again. Not sure why, I think it’s because the cards made with this really have to be clean and simple, and I don’t do clean and simple easily!Anyway here are some that I made a little while ago, and most of the elements on these are from the sticker sheet.Today Nathan and I did some photo’ing of cards, and I prepared a class for July. There is nowhere near enough time for me to get ready for the craft fair in a couple of weeks so my posts my be intermittent for the next couple of weeks. but still, til tomorrow…..
younger boy cards

Younger boy cards today, the top card is made with some October Afternoon paper which was forgotten in a drawer, and although it doesn’t show in the photos I have fussy cut a couple of the ducks to pop on top with foam pads for a bit of a 3d feel. The bottom card was also made with some paper found in the same drawer, and I can’t tell you the brand name as the identity strip had been cut off! This paper had little cute animals printed over it so I die cut a couple of them out with my spellbinders circles die, and I punched some scallop edges out of plain cardstock with my stampin up borders punch.Off to work now…til tomorrow….
A couple of special family makes

two cards today that I made with specific people in mind – that doesn’t happen often ,ususally I am making cards for classes, orders or craft fairs. The top card was for my sons’ birthday. the stamp set is from stampin up ( Guy greetings),as is the designer paper and I coloured the image with copics. My boys and husband run a wrestling company and gym so this was perfect for Daniel. The bottom card was for a kitchen tea,so I made an apron and popped a recipe card ( paper and recipe card by graphic 45 – home sweet home) in the apron pocket.Today I taught a lesson over at the retirement village, and enjoyed afternoon tea with my ladies. My sister came along to help and she gave me the new Stampin Up catalogue so I am looking forward to a night in front of the heater with my pen and notepad compiling my wishlist! Til tomorrow….
Simple Stories I am, 9,10,11,12

More of my Simple Stories I am series .I used the papers, packet of bits and pieces, brads and washi tape. I also added some sequins on the bottom two cards, and a scrap of hessian on one of the top cards.Well this weekend went by far too quickly and we had a lovely day today with all our extended family celebrating my Mums 80th birthday. No crafting this weekend, but a lovely one just the same! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Mix and Match 4,5.

Here are the rest of my creations using kaisercraft Mix and Match collection. I bought the 12 x 12 pack for this collection and it contained a few papers that weren’t available in the loose form, which are the papers I have used on these two cards. the top card was kept very simple as it is for my nephews birthday, ( I fussy cut the banners from a piece of the paper) and the bottom card uses another of the fussy cut butterflies and just a little flower .The sentiments on both cards are by stampin up.Today is a day off for me and as I don’t have a class today the morning has been spent grocery shopping. It’s a bit wet outside here today, so a lovely day to spend an hour or two in the craft room! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar number 3
Another card using Kiasercraft Antique Bazaar 6″pad and collectables. Yesterday it was all about the music and today the theme is movies!Love the collectables in this range! Tonight all my blokes are out, so it is off to the craft room for me – A couple of orders, a class or two to organise, and then if it’s not too late some experimenting with some new folds..bliss…Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Antique bazaar 1 and 2

Back to cards today, and these two are made with Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar which is a new release from Kaisercraft. I nearly didn’t buy this one as it was very similar to an older collection which I still have, but I loved the record collectables, so just bought the collectables pack and the 6″ pad.I have mixed it up a bit with the older collection which is Velvet Ensemble. If you have any of this older collection hiding in your craft space dig it out because these two collections compliment each other.A day off for me today, so I have done a very large grocery shop, and shouldn’t have to go back for at least a couple weeks, and the rest of the day will be spent relaxing in the craft room. I still have a couple of family birthday cards to make – female ones this time, so easy, and an order to fulfill, then it will be time to start thinking about lessons again! til tomorrow…..
