I have made so many cards with this paper (Kaisercraft Pop!) , I have taught a class using it, and I have even done a video blog post (Upcoming) for Paper flourish using it, so I can’t believe I haven’t put any up here on my own blog!these cards are totally self explanatory and only use the papers, and some plain cardstock for matting. The bottom card banners are from the matching sticker sheet.Must goa andf prepare for work…til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Bestys couture 7 and 8 mens cards….

Today I have managed to pull myself away from the craft room, where I have been on a creative roll, to post these two mens card ideas using Kaisercraft betsys couture papers, and a stampin up stamp set – guy greetings. I added some hessian and a button for some texture. Always like it when I can make a mens card out of a predominately feminine paper collection! For now it’s back to the craft room! til tomorrow…..
Stampin Up Guy Greetings stamp set number 2…

As promised, the bottom card shows what I did with the extra hat and mustache I die cut with Sizzix top hats and Mustaches die set. So simple – only added googly eyes and a stamped banner greeting. the patterned paper was on my table,( not sure what company )and the cardstock was stampin up early espresso. For the top card I took inspiration from pinterest -when I buy a new stamp set I always have a look to see what other people are doing with it, and the first card made is usually a variation on one of these ideas, to get me into the swing of working with the stamp set. I find after the first card the ideas come naturally thick and fast! so, inspired by pinterest, but with a few different elements. I added some twine, stamped in early espresso ink ( stampin Up) and the cardstock is also stampin up – early espresso, sahara sand, and ivory confetti ( sadly the last one is retired, so no longer available). No craft room today – We are off out looking for new floor coverings… til tomorrow….
Stampin Up guy greetings stamp set
I recently bought a stamp set from stampin Up called guy greetings. I haven’t had nearly enough time to play with it as much as I want to, but have managed to make a few cards using it which I will show you all over the next day or two. It’s brilliant for mens cards, and I made this one for My younger son Daniel who will be graduating from University in a couple of months. The cardstock I used was also from Stampin Up – Early espresso, soft suede and very vanilla.I inked around all the edges for a bit of definition, and the hat is die cut from a sizzix die – Top hats and Mustaches ( tomorrow I will show you what i did with the Mustache!)I added a little frim around the hat for a bit of texture.A card is just not finished without texture!Hot,hot hot here today, so although I really feel the need for some relaxation in the craft room after a hard first week back at work, the day may be spent under the air-con duct reading a good book! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft sandy toes 6 and 7 ..the last..

Here are the last two cards I created with kaisercraft sandy toes.I will revisit the rest of this paper again, once I have finished sorting out that craft room, which may take a little while. The top card uses some 12 x 12 paper and collectables, while the bottom card has the addition of some sequins,a brad, and some prima trim. I love the background paper on the bottom card – makes me feel like you could just dive in and with our weather heating up over the next couple of days finding some cool water to swim in is possibly on the cards!! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes 5
Kaisercraft sandy toes .. The background paper is from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, and the rest of the card uses bits and pieces from the 6″pad.A couple of sequins and thats it!Today I have been in the craft room, making a few cards to use up more papers. I am making some headway in the aim to clear some of the backlog of paper, and have made up a few bags of bits, strips and bobs to sell at my craft fair stall in June. The only trouble I am having is seeing the old paper and seeing it with new eyes …and thinking oh, I could do that or that, and then it’s back to the craft table to make more cards, so this is going to be a long job! Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft sandy Toes number 4
Kaisercraft sandy Toes paper and matching collectables. The trim ( I love!) is Prima, and I used a kaisercraft sparklet and stampin up cardstock and bitty banner sentiment. Perfect male card right there!I haven’t been in the craft room today, I went over to Paper flourish this morning to drop off my March classes, and ended up visiting all morning! I was looking for some papers to get a head start on April lessons, but while there a new shipment of Kaisercraft Dies came in. I love their dies as they are so easy to use – the dies cuts just fall out – no struggling, so I bought a couple more to add to my growing collection. I don’t think I will buy any other brand now, Kaisercraft seem to be coming out with new ones every month so there is always a good choice.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes number 3
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes..and a lot of the matching collectables on this one. I inked around all my edges for definition, and added a few sequins.First day of my holidays, and I was going to pick up the new release of Kaisercraft from paper Flourish, but it hasn’t come in yet, so I spent the morning in the craft room finishing off my March classes, and cleaning up my craft table – I can see it again! I have promised myself that I won’t let it get like that again . I have a new 6 drawer cabinet which I have put in the crafting annex to hold all my christmas dies, embossing folders, papers etc, so that may be a job for tomorrow.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Sandy Toes number 2
Today we start a new collection – Kaisercraft Sandy toes.Great paper collection for this time of year although we have been lucky here lately – not too hot at all, just lovely sunny days. For this one I did some basic layering, and fussy cut the palm trees from a panel to place at the bottom of the card, stamped a sentiment with a stampin up stamp, and added a few sequins ( my new like) scattered across the card. Now that I have a couple of weeks off I will be visiting spotlight to get a few more colours.Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 time to flourish 8 and 9,october.

At first glance IÂ didn’t think I would use any of the October papers in the 12 x 12 pad of Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection, because it was quite halloween themed which we really don’t get into here in australia, but on closer inspection I spied these gorgeous images of scottish thistles. That is my heritage, and I thought if I could make a couple of male orientated cards, that would be my Dad and my uncles cards sorted for this year. So, no ribbon, lace bling or anything too fancy, just a lot of matting, and a little fussy cutting, and strategic placement of said mats, but I really like how they both turned out,and no paper wasted!Til tomorrow….
