I went deep into the blog archives to see what cards I had previously posted using this paper ( kaisercraft garage days) only to find that I had only posted a couple before now. This is terrible – it means somewhere in that craft room there is a lot of paper for men that has not been utilised. This is an oversight that will have to be remedied – maybe this weekend!I have a class to prepare, and more christmas cards to make, but I am sure I can fit in some mens makes somehow!Todays cards are a little dark – I think the shiny properties of the top card played havoc witgh nathans camera, but hopefully you get the idea. The stamps for the tools are from Stampin up – old ones I think called Totally tool. These are great for mens cards and you may still be able to get them on e-bay .Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Garage Days
I had to do some mens cards this month,so the first paper I reached for was Kaisercraft Garage Days, although I don’t have a great deal of choice – mens themed paper seems to be the hardest to find.here I have combined it with some tool stamps which I got a few years ago from Stampin Up so I am not sure if they are still available.I have also used a few of the matching collectables, and stampin up cardstock. Must run – work is calling…til tomorrow….
3 cards with stampin up Flashback designer paper

The one thing these cards have in common is the designer paper – Stampin Up Flashback.for the first one I followed the pattern and cut my paper in half, stamping the greeting in between the two pieces, ( stampin up Sassy salutions greeting stamp) and addind a splodge of colour with red ink and Stampin up gorgeous grunge. The second one makes good use of my stampin up Honeycomb hello stamp set,and I cut some banners from the paper. the third card was an experiment using up the bits of paper leftover from the other two cards, punched hexagons, stuck them on the cardstock and ran it through the big shot with my stampin up hexagon embossing folder. Today is my new day off, so have done the weekly shop and I am off to have a well needed hair cut! Til tomorrow….
Graphic 45 By the Sea number 2
Graphic 45 By the Sea, number 1
Sorry I was missing last night – we had no power… Nathan said it went off at 1pm, and it didn’t come back on until close to 8 o’clock in the evening, so we sat in the dark, and were quite cold until then! It was a very late dinner last night!Todays card is Graphic 45 By the sea patterned paper, and a fussy cut quite a few images . I mounted the lighthouse on some stampin up real red cardstock, and used a little of the trim from the same paper down the right hand side. This paper is out on my craft desk at the moment, as I was planning to make some more cards with it, but I have a few orders to complete, so will have to pack it up again! til tomorrow…..
Simple Stories – teen boy card
While on the theme of all things male, here is a quick card I made using Simple Stories patterned paper and some stampin up cardstock.A bit of fussy cutting of the elements from the papers, and just layered it all together – a very quick and easy card as everything is there for you on the papers! Til tomorrow….
Tim Holtz ideologogy paper stack 2
Tim Holtz ideology paper stack – this time a male themed card. I inked around all my edges with vintage photo distress ink, and added a metal charm tied with twine.Very simple card this one! i have finished my second lesson for august, and just have one more to do for the village ladies at the end of this month, then I will start thinking about september which will be christmas cards – I can’t believe we are back to xmas cards already! til tomorrow….
deep Red Plane stamp
Still stamping, and these two cards make use of my Deep Red Plane stamp. the card on the left – stampin up cardstock, and sentiment stamp, and some string and a canvas cog which I coloured with distress inks, and attached to the card with a vintage stampin up brad. the card on the right – I stamped and fussy cut the plane and used 3d foam pads to attach it to a piece of paper that I found in the cupboard ( I found lots of 6″ pads in there too, which I am in the process of looking at and fussy cutting where appropriate!)Again,I used stampin up cardstock and sentiment stamp to finish. Looking forward to tomorrow morning when I head over to Paper Flourish to choose the papers I will be using for my next 3 months lessons and doing some shopping as well…. til tomorrow….
Deep Red train stamp
Deep Red Train stamp, this time I heat embossed it with copper powder, and fussy cut around the image. For the card I used stampin up cardstock, and layered Prima Craftsman patterned paper, and used some wide mesh trim, before mounting the train on top with 3d foam pads. The sentiment is stampin up Itty Bitty banner stamps. Today has been a great day – relaxing in the craft room, and now ready to face the working week tomorrow.. til tomorrow….
