Sometimes its good to browse! I found this pretty paper on a site called craftrabbit, and it was free to download. I printed it out on whisper white cardstock from stampin up, and also used stampin up pink pirouette and pretty in pink cardstock. I just added bling and kindyglitz, and I love the result. Today I had a bit of a clean up in the craft room, and did some cutting on the cricut, so I’ll sit tonight and use all my cut out bits on some dinosaur cards! Til tomorrow….
Tonights card is made using a Prima paper 6″pad called reflections. there are some nice papers in this pad, and I didn’t have to add too much more to my card. I even did some paper ripping, although I still have trouble with that whole ripping technique! I sponged the edges with some Tim Holtz distress ink, and stamped a couple of flower images from Stampin Up stamp set -Vintage vogue – onto some more patterned paper and cut them out and layered them up, and thats it!Too cold for crafting tonight, so its a night in front of the heater with a good book! When I saw Kaisercrafts new papers – Velvet Ensemble – I immediately thought they were terrific for mens cards, but the first card I made with it was this one. The Dancing Lady image comes on a sheet with quite a few other images, was its really value for money.The only other thing I used here was some kindyglitz, and Stampin Up Riding hood red cardstock.Today I’ve been making mens cards, and thinking about Fathers day cards.Over the next couple of weeks I’d like them finished so I can start on xmas! Todays card uses Stampin up cardstock – crumbcake, and For the record patterned paper and stickers. This is by Bella road (Echo park) . I bought this on an american site – Ohmycrafts, where I have also been picking up my cricut cartridges as the exchange rate is so good just now. I love the gramaphone player, so I was very happy when I found that Kaisercrafts new collection – Velvet Ensemble – has a gramaphone in the matching stamp set. gramaphones will be featuring on some more of my cards! Tonights card is made using patterned paper and images from Graphic 45 Once apon a springtime range. All I had to add was flowers and leaves die cut on my cuttlebug with Stampin Up sizzix dies – Leaves, and Blossom party.Of course i couldn’t resist adding a bit of kindyglitz! I love this flower die, and think I’ll be basing my next village lesson on cards made with it.Work today, so very tired tonight, I think a night by the heater with a good book is in order.Til tomorrow…..
This card was made using a couple of stampin up sizzix dies – Leaves and Blossom Party. They work perfectly through my cuttlebug, and I’m really impressed with the result. A lot of my cards are going to feature this flower die. The cardstock I used was Certainly celery,pretty in pink and pink pirouette. The males in my house think its too pink, but I say you can never have too much pink! What do you all think?Another cold day here today, so nothing done outside, and lots of crafting inside! Today it has been too cold here in Adelaide to do anything, but sit in my little craft room with the heater on and craft all day, so thats what I did! T omorrow Nathan tells me we will be photographing my last couple of weeks creations,so I’ll have some newer designs to show you all. Todays card – we are back to the male cards, using Crate paper Toy box collection, and I actually brought myself to rip some paper, and I also used Stampin Up cardstock – soft suede.This colour cardstock isn’t a favourite, so you won’t see many of my cards using it, but it did go well with this paper. I’ve had quite a few kids cards lately, so I thought I would break it up and post my latest cuttlebug card, as I know a lot of you visit to see what I have been up to with my trusty cuttlebug. Tonights card relies soley on my cuttlebug, I used white and silver cardstock, a butterfly die, and 2 embossing folders – Couture collections – pinstripe and drifting Endless. I just added a little matching ribbon to complete. I have a couple of days off now, so I’m really looking forward to spending some quality time in my craft room.Til tomorrow….
Tonights card is made from paper and border stickers from Crate paper Toy Box Collection. This collection is great for male cards, and I have a few to show you over the next few days. On this card I also used stampin Up cardstock – riding hood red, and basic black. Meanwhile I have been playing with some gorgeous new papers from megs garden, the paper is so good its almost criminal to cut into it, hopefully I will have them photographed to show you next week. This is the last card in my series of Party Animals cards (for now!). The cardstock is Stampin up, and the images were fussy cut from Kaisercrafts Party Animals range, and the greeting was stamped from the stamps from the same range. Tonight I’m working on a couple of new cards from recently purchased papers, and stamps and hopefully nathan can photo them at the end of this week, so I have something to show next week!
