Kaisercraft secret garden 5….
Kaisercraft Secret garden 3….
Kaisercraft secret garden 6′ paper pad and matching collectables. Stampin up cardstck and ribbon. Mum gave me the die cut label, so I am not sure what brand it is, and I added some bling. love pink and blue together! I have spent a little time in the craft room today, the last couple of days I have been concentrating on lessons and some customer orders, but today I just sat and created. I pulled out some very old graphic 45 papers ( a ladies diary, baby to bride and le romantique) . I had bits and pieces of each one, but the colours are very similar so I combined them all and made a few cards. I had promised myself I would start using up some of these older papers, so feel good that I have started! til tomorrow..
Kaisercraft Secret garden 2….
Another Kaisercraft secret garden card where the words on the collectable are hidden by me..this time with a well placed flower and leaf collectable. The papers used on this card are from the 6″ pad and I added some lace and ribbon. Today has been spent in the craft room fulfilling orders, I am all caught up now, so it is time to turn my thoughts to August lessons. where is the year going? til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft secret garden 1
This months Kaisercraft release of Secret Garden is absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn’t help myself – I bought the 6″pad, all the 12 x 12 papers and 2 packets of the collectables. It has been a great distraction when I have been meant to be cleaning out the craft room! I have had to force myself to pack it away for now, but not before I made a multitude of cards. We will split this group into 2 or 3 otherwise you will all be sick of seeing them all! This is the first one – Stampin Up blushing bride cardstock, layers of papers from the pad and a few collectables. the flower trim is also from stampin up. the collectable flowers wre hiding the words “to me’ on the label which I didn’t want on this card. There’s a handy hint – flowers can hi9de a multitude of errors!Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft cherry Blossom..the last few..

The last few cards I made with Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom paper collection ( and matching collectables) were these ..lets call them screen cards!I used an a4 piece of cardstock, punched a border along one long edge, folded it into 3 equal panels, used a spellbinders label die on the bottom to mimic legs, and decorated!I had to do it because the paper reminded me so much of those chinese dressing screens you see.thank you all so much for your kind comments about my craft room. it’s a delight to sit in there now, and every now and again I tackle the little pockets of bits still remaining so by the time I go back to work next week it should be completely overhauled!Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Cherry blossom 5.
Kaisercraft cherry blossom paper collection and matching collectables, with an extra flower and leaf frond added. the die cut circle on this one was the waste from the previous card!I added a few sequins to this one as well. My craft room is back in working order, just a few hidden pockets to sort out at aanother time, because for the next day or so i am taking a break from cleaning and i am going to sit down and create. i taught a class this morning, and that always gets me in the mood for crafting! til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom (4)
Kaiserrcraft cherrry Blossom paper collection and matching collectables. I cut a piece of white cardstock smaller than the card front, and die cut a circle from it, mounted it on top of the patterned paper, and added some collectables, sequins and a ribbon to finish.Day 2 of my holidays and it has been all action in the craft room. I have emptied my table and bookshelf, removed said bookshelf and put in two new ones. I am still in the process of shelving my stamp sets, and tomorrow the new desk will go in. Hopefully I will have a bit more room to move around in there, I have also nearly filled my wheelie bin with lots of older bits and pieces that are past their use by date and no good for passing on to like minded crafters!Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft card in a box Cherry Blossom cards
Here are 3 box cards I made for my stall at the fair. I used Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom papers from the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. I added some die cut flourishes ( kaisercraft die) and butterrflies 9 memory box die), leaves punched with martha stewart punch and a bit of bling and sequins. I have spent a little time in the craft room this weekend, trying to get to grips with the cas style of card making. Cas is clean and simple..lots of white space, and minimal embellishment. I have decided this style is not for me! I can do it, I just don’ t stop when I should, and before I know it I have maximum embellishment and my white space has a strategically placed ribbon, sequin or other sort of embellishment that would be frowned upon in CAS circles. I will persevere as I like a challenge! til tomorrow….
A Card in a box
We will leave Kaisercraft say Aloha paper collection for now with this last card that i crated, along with the box to pop it into. the papers are from the 12 x 12 collection, and I added a butterfly from the matching collectables, and some flowers and punched leaves. Tonight my boys are out, so I am heading into the craft room to try some experiments with ink and stamps that I have been mulling over. Til tomorrow…..
