Hello! I am sorry I am not posting as often as usual, but I have been busy in the shop,we opened our Paper Flourish On Line store last week, and things have been hectic!I am finding minutes here and there to create, but not as much as I would like. In the meantime, todays card is made with Stampin Up Party pandas stamp set, which I stamped and fussy cut, and the background is inked with Distress oxide ink pads and a circle stencil. The rectangle cross stitched die is a Seven Paper Dolls Die. Til tomorrow…..

Cute Pandas!
These Pandas are so cute! they are from a stamp set by Stampin Up (party pandas),and I stamped them and fussy cut them out, doing a little colouring with copic pens. I prepared a background piece by using Distress oxide ink pads, and die cut the rectangle with a Seven Paper Dolls cross stitch die. Such a simple card to make and a favourite of mine…Til tomorrow….
Mums Birthday card..
It is my mums birthday, and this is the card I have made for her, although to be completely open and honest, once this photo was taken I added a couple more flowers ( in white) in the left hand bottom corner! It is all done with my Go Press and Foil machine, including the foiled embossed background. The butterfly is foiled on acetate, and I foiled the sentiment as well. a bit of layering and lace, ribbon and flowers and this one is ready for giving to Mum today. Yesterday was spent ( after a two hour trip to Bunnings to purchase various garden items for Nathan and house paint for me) in the craft room preparing all of June lessons. Glad they are organised because I really have to concentrate on the craft fair in June now. I am looking forward to an enjoyable afternoon at Paper Flourish ( where our on line shop goes live on Tuesday!) with my craft and chat group. til tomorrow…..
Embossing ( and just a die cut)
This is a card that I taught at paper Flourish a couple of months ago. We did a set of three cards all relying on embossing and die cutting with pastel colours. The die I have used is a Seven paper Dolls die which will be available to purchase from our webstore when it has it’s grand opening on the 1st of May. It has been a busy and exciting time getting the web store up and running and we see the finish line in our sights! The sentiment die is from kaisercraft as are the embossing folders I used. I stuck a row of flowers across the join I had created by combining two different embossed pieces of cardstock. I have always loved pastel colours and the three cards we created in class are favourites of mine. I have rediscovered embossing folders recently, they are an undervalued piece of cardmaking equipment in my opinion! I have spent a little time today in the craft room creating some June lessons, but really it has been a lazy and relaxing day off. Til tomorrow…..
Stampin Up Birthday Blooms..
Once again for some reason my computer has decided these cards look better on their sides! So please just imagine they are standing in a landscape format!! I have used the same stamp ( from Stampin Up Birthday Blooms) and I have stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Zig markers as I was experimenting with these wonderful new markers. With one colour you can get a graduation of colour by colouring directly where you want the colour darkest, and then I just pulled the colour around with an aqua brush ( a normal paintbrush and cup of water would also do the job). I scattered some drops of clear Nuvo around to look like water drops, and the dies are a nesting stitch die by seven paper dolls. Matching ribbon trim, a bit of patterned paper on the top card, and a bling flat backed pearl and these were super easy and what I would call clean and simple! Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft miss Betty double zig zag..

The Kaisercraft Miss Betty collection worked perfectly as a double zigzag card, and here are two that I made with this collection. I used a mix of 12 x 12 papers, some papers from the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. On the top card i made the most of my lace, ribbon and flowers whereas on the lower card I only added a little ribbon and a few sequins. I had a great day yesterday playing with my new Go Press and Foil cut, foil and emboss dies, here is a selection of completed cards!
Kaisercraft Miss betty 2..(Shabby chic)
The second card made with kaisercraft Miss Betty collection! Here I have used some of the 12 x 12 sheets, and the matching collectables. The die cut fence is a couture creations die and I inked around all my distressed edges with tea dye ink and added a ribbon bow and little flower. This week has been hugely busy at work putting out all the new pre orders and I must admit I have a few new things to play and experiment with including the new Go Press and foil foil, emboss and cut dies ( which do all that in one step!). They are on my dining table ready to go in about 5 minutes!! til tomorrow….
It’s all about the Shoes!

A pair of shoes today! The patterned papers are from my 12 x 12 Mambi Happy pad,and i die cut the shoes from glitter cardstock ( american crafts brand). I have also done some foiling with the Go Press and foil machine ( couture Creations) The Happy Birthday pieces are Dusty attic and foiled, and I also foiled the oval with a couture creations metal stamp specifically designed for foiling. Some flowers and ribbon bows and these two were complete! I have had a relaxing Easter break, prepared all my May lessons, and yesterday Joe, Nathan and I went for a drive up to Mt Lofty Botanical gardens. It was a beautiful day weather wise, and we all enjoyed strolling up and down the paths where we saw the leaves on the trees turning their autumn colours. Til tomorrow…..

Oops missed one!Couture Creations..
I thought I had shown all my Couture Creations C’est la Vie makes, but I missed one! I think this is my favourite too! All the papers are from that colection, and distressed and inked around the edges.I found a few birds and butterflies to fussy cut from the papers, and the gate die and flower dies are also from the C’est la Vie range by couture creations. I inked up the die cut flowers with distress inks, and the brad in the centre of the largest flower is a stampin up vintage brad. I inked a little versamark ink across the top of the gate die cut and heat embossed with gold powder to experiment with aging the gate…I will be experimenting more with this idea. Assorted greenery was added, from bits and pieces on my desk from other projects. Thats all for today, Til tomorrow…..
Go press and Foil card ..the other one..
While I had my Go press and foil machine out I foiled a few extra pieces to have on hand on my desk so you will see bits popping up on other random cards, but this card was all Go Press and Foil. I used the big go press and foil stamp ( its called a stamp but is actually a metal plate) to foil the aqua background and fussy cut out the centre and around the outside. I gold foiled a happy birthday chipboard piece from Dusty Attic, and the little wooden bird by Kaisercraft. The Green foiled foliage is a wooden piece by kaisercraft and I added some gorgeous flowers from Iamroses. Today is a public holiday here and I am making good use of the day off to try and clear my desk, where random projects have been started and left there! Til tomorrow….
