Quick post tonight as I am a bit tired after my two days at the craft fair, and one more day still to go. It’s been great fun, meeting new people, seeing lots of familiar aces, and selling lots! todays card is made using kaisercrafts new range – Porcelain Rose. I particularly like this one as it has a few different colourways as you will see over the next couple of days. For this card I used the 6″ pad and matching collectables, and added a hand rolled flower ( easy to do – just punch out a circle, cut it into a spiral and roll it up) a kaisercraft flower, ribbon and a stampin up sentiment stamp. I am off to put my feet up – Til tomorrow…..

For the Record…
This is a card that I made for a sketch challenge – I used For the Record 2 paper, cut some banners, punched a flower, and added a couple of little flowers. I handcut a banner and stamped it with a hero arts birthday stamp.I think this one will be in an upcoming Quick cards magazine.I have been over to the craft fair site today and set up my stall – looking forward to the weekend! Til tomorrow….
Masking – An Experiment…
A bit of an experiment today – I thought I would try my hand at using a mask. This one is a kaisercraft cogs mask which I inked over with distress inks and a sponge. The paper is from Kaisercraft Attitude 6″ pad, and I die cut some more cogs using my spellbinders sprightly sprockets die. I painted them with Viva silver metallic paint, and used craftworks candii on them when I had affixed them to the card ( look like brads don’t they!) I distressed and inked all edges of the card, and finished with a stampin up sentiment.I also had quite a mess to clean up afterwards, but thoroughly enjoyed myself making this teen boys card!Til tomorrow….
Lucky Last Bo Bunny Surprise number 13
Here is the lucky last Bo Bunny Surprise card. Lots of Stampin Up cardstock on this one, and stampin Up embossing folder too. I fussy cut the images and star strip from the bo bunny collection, and added them all to the card. Just needed a bit of kindyglitz on the bow to finish. Today I have been putting together some card kits to sell on my Fair stall – we will see how they go – if there is enough interest this is something I might get into as I have enjoyed myself doing them. Tomorrow morning will be photo time, hopefully we have some natural sunlight available for that – its been lovely and wet here the last couple of days – we never complain about rain! Til tomorrow….

I think that’s it for now…. Til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny Surprise 11 and 12
Only a couple more in this series – Bo Bunny Surprise so we will stick with them – still using the original 5 sheets of paper that I purchased, we are up to card numbers 11 and 12! I used a punch for the stars on the card on the left, and fussy cut the the stars on the right out of the paper. The cardstock used for the card bases and the mats is from Stampin Up. Til tomorrow…..
Bo Bunny Surprise 7 and 8
Bo Bunny Surprise 5 and 6
Here are 5 and 6 in my Bo Bunny Surprise series. Still with the same original 5Â 12 x 12 sheets of paper, but used spellbinders pennant dies to make the bunting for the card on the left. I used Stampin Up cardstock for the card bases and various mats. Busy day today, pulling out my market boxes to see what cards I still need to make for my craft fair stall in two weeks time – have a list so will be very busy in the craft room . Lucky my holidays start at the end of this week! Til tomorrow…
Bo Bunny Surprise 3 and 4
Bo Bunny Surprise papers – the 12 x 12 variety, and still making good use of the cut outs sheet.I just teamed the papers with some colour matched cardstock for some matting, and a legth of green ribbon on the red card to break up the colour. A day of crafting procrastination today – lots to do in the craft room but not much motivation so a trip to my local craft shop ( Paper Flourish ,where I also teach) was on the cards. A good browse around the aisles, a shopping basket of goodies, and home full of enthusiasm! Now cook some dinner and back into the craft room to plan out those lessons! Til tomorrow….
Celebrate Today with Bo Bunny Prairie Chic….
I have interrupted my latest series to post this card that I made this morning ( in between shopping and visiting Mum and dad) . It’s a special card because I am Celebrating – In the next few hours one of you will be my 100,000th visitor to my blog! This is amazing to me – My blog is a daily journal of my crafting travels, and sometimes my life travels too. That so many of you visit is great, and that so many of you come back is even better! My love and relaxation is card making, although I have taken a few short trips down the box making path, the off the page path , scrapbooking path, and the mixed media canvas art path ( a longer path that one as I love creating canvasses!) I always stay true to card making. looking back over my blog I have evolved and changed, and tried some new techniques – some worked, some didn’t, but I have always had fun and shown my successes and failures! Recent highlight was being chosen as a beautiful Blog in Papercraft Inspirations magazine, and ongoing highlights are my card classes that I teach, many of my ladies I class as true friends, and they travel the card making path with me, sharing ideas, and tips.So to all of you who visit, those that keep coming back and the 100 or so followers that have joined along the way – Thank You so much for letting me reach this milestone! Todays card was quickly made with Bo Bunny Prairie chic papers, a stampin up sentiment stamp, and some ribbon lace, and bling. I think it reflects my style ( for now!) perfectly! ( Can’t wait to make more with this gorgeous paper….Til tomorrow…..
