Pink paisley London market papers

A very quick post tonight as I should be cooking tea – This is one of my favourite cards because I love the vintage feel of it. The paper is pink Paisley London market, and the crown is from a packet of matching emphemera.Cardstock is stampin up crumbcake and very vanilla, as is the folded ribbon and the sentiment, and I added lace flowers and bling. There is an interesting border punch used on this card and I can’t for the life of me remember where I punched this out – I know I don’t own it, but wish I did!As soon as I have cooked tea I am off into the craft room to see if it’s one of my dies, and if so put it in a prominent place to be used again and again!Til tomorrow….

Prima Zephyr number 5

Todays card uses Prima Zephyr patterned paper and matching flowers, Leaves and Journalling notes. The Butterfly is actually 2 memory box dies – Kaliadascope and moonlight. There is a Cheery Lyn tropical flourish tucked in the back, and i added some ribbon, and lots of bling! The colours in this paper range are beautiful and rich, and a nice change from pink for Female style cards!I had a lovely day at paper flourish today, teaching my Mature ladies – lots of giggles which is always fun, but it’s back to work tomorrow, so an early night for me tonight… Til tomorrow…

Prima meadow Lark card in box

This is another card in a box, but for some reason we didn’t take a photo of the box so you will have to imagine it!The patterned papers are from the Prima meadow lark range, and the big flower is die cut with my cuttlebug and sizzix tattered florals die. I made a tag pocket so that a gift voucher could be slipped in there, and added some lovely ribbon and bling. My working week is finished so the weekend starts for me now – into the craft room I go …as soon as I have organised some dinner… Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft pickled pear

Todays card is another card in a box, and I am busy in the craft room making more of these for an order. For this one, I used stampin Up cardstock – certainly celery, and Kaisercraft patterned paper – pickled pear. I do like this paper, and have made another card with it which I will show you tomorrow,in the meantime for this one I cut a rectangle out of the fromt of the card using a spellbinders die, and covered the front with some of the paper. I used a stamp from the matching stamp set to stamp onto acetate with black stazon ink and cut it out. this worked a treat and I will be doing this again!I stauck a panel from the paper that had an inspirational sentiment on it to the insiside of the card, and popped on a butterfly sticker from the pickled pear sticker sheet. After all that it was just a matter of flowers, ribbon and bling to finish. That’s it for today – it’s back to the craft room for me…Til tomorrow….

box in a card 2

Hare is another card in a box – these have taken off, and I am inundated with orders for them at the moment. The cardstoak I used here is stampin Up Pink Pirouette, and the paper is an old one I found in the back of my cupboard by Daisyd’s.I have used a few dies and my cuttlebug – here is the list – Spellbinders parisian motifs,Bird Sanctuary, and rose creations, and my sizzix caged bird die.Just added some bling and rbbon to finish. I have a class with my lovely ladies tomorrow, so must go and pack my bag in readiness – til tomorrow….

Card in a box

I made this card for my Boss’s birthday, and when it was made I realised it wasn’t going to fit into the envelope without ruining the whole effect of the flower, so I came up with this matching box, which was so successful it resulted in a rather large order, and more coming in all the time, so at the moment I am up to my eyes in cards in boxes!I will show a couple more over the next couple of days, but now the challenge is to make some male themed ones – that’s the next order I will be working on over the weekend. Anyway, for this one I used Bo Bunny enchanted patterned paper, and matching brads, and my sizzix tattered floral die with a prima leaf and sprays of pearls. Once you have the hang of these boxes, I have discoverd it is quite easy to change the size to match any size card, the only thing to remember is to keep the measurements within 12 x 12, otherwise you will run out of cardstock! Til tomorrow….

Everything Stampin up …almost…

Todays  card uses a lot of new products, which I haven’t had nearly enough time to play with yet.The cardstock is stampin Up Pool Party, which matches perfectly with the Comfort Cafe designer paper , also Stampin Up – from here on in lets just say everything is stampin Up except for the brads and lace…Flower die is blossom party die, big swirly stamp is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set, and I heat embossed it with early espresso embossing powder, then I just added ribbon, seam binding and lace.I used a circle punch to bite little bits out of the corners of my paper.Today I have been playing with my new window die, but the weather has heated up here, and its made all of us a little lethargic so I may just go and sit in the lounge room and watch a little t.v…til tomorrow….

Card made with scraps and dies..

here is a card made with paper of an unknown origin, it was in my scrap box – I am tempted to say it’s crate paper, but it could well be Stampin Up – maybe someone could help me with that…anyway, I used a spellbinders border die to cut the zig zag, and  Stampin Up blossom party die, just using one of the flower heads for the flowers. Decorated with some stampin up buttons, and martha stewart butterfly punch, and the sentiment is from a stampin up set. This is a really simple design for a quick card, and I love it’s simplicity, not to mention the colours – I will be trying this one again! I have been organising myself for my lesson over at the village tonight, and I have also spent a little time planning all my January lessons – I am getting ahead of myself! Til tomorrow….

Purely Cuttlebug…

Todays card is made purely by utilising my cuttlebug and a couple of dies. The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Goochie script, and the 2 dies used are sizzix flowers – 3d ( for the flowers) and Cheery Lyn tropical flourish. I used stampin up cardstock, and did a bit of layering with Old olive,Pumpkin Pie and very vanilla, and just added a ribbon bow to finish. This is really a simple card, and would look good in a number of different colour combinations!I am all crafted out today, so i am going to have a bit of a break and watch some T.V. tonight! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft periwinkle 2

Here is the only other card I have had time to make using Kaisercraft Periwinkle paper. I punched a border with E.K. Success fan border punch, which I have been using a lot lately, and the bird is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Nature set. I can’t tell you where the leaf stamps are from – I have looked in my room – it’s a disaster area in there at the moment, and I can’t lay my hands on the stamp set used, but I do know I stamped them on white and coloured them with distress inks and a sponge dauber. I have had a lovely day with my Mum, visiting the craft shops, and looking at all the new releases, ahh, so much product, not enough crafting time! Til tomorrow….
