Now for a change from Christmas cards I made this one using Prima Tea Thyme patterned paper and my cuttlebug.the die I used were – spellbinders labels 17, lace doily accents, and Memory box La Rue Flourish. The sentiment ( Love it) is from a stampin Up set called Apothecary Art, and the pleated satin ribbon is also stampin Up. I just added lace and perfect pearls to this one to finish it.Tonight I want to spend a bit of time in the craft room, doing some special orders, but first I have to find my work table which is under such a pile of stuff! Til tomorow…

Anna Griffin camilla 3 and 4
Two together for this post! Still with Anna Griffin Camilla collection, and matching die – cuts. The lattice is a die by Cheery Lyn designs, ( number 2) and I added ribbon, magnolia chandelier garland drops, hat pins, perfect pearls and kindy glitz to finish. I got sidetracked today and made a canvas art for my craft room door – will show it when Nathan photos it! Til tomorrow…
Anna Griffin Camilla number 2
Anna Griffin camilla collection – the rose die cut wasn’t coloured, so I coloured it using tim holtz distress inks and a finger dauber, or as one of my lovely mature ladies called it – a cardmakers thimble! – that tickled my fancy, and may be what I call them from now on!I just added some perfect pearls , and ribbon.Sat down today to plan out my November lesson – the ideas are not coming – I blame the paper I chose, I thought it would be easy to work with, but turns out it’s not, so may go back to the drawing board and choose something completely different! After tea I will give it another go, til tomorrow….
Vintage style
A short break from all things christmas to have a look at some new papers I purchased a couple of weeks ago – they are Anna Griffin from the Camilla collection, and I only bought a few sheets, not the whole range, but I did also purchase the matching die cut embellishments. These papers were gorgeous to work with – I love the soft colours, and for this card I turned on the vintage flavour by adding lots of ribbon, lace and bling. I used my spellbinders Dress form die and painted the die cut with Viva Metallic silver paint, and had great fun dressing it! In the craft room today I am making more christmas cards, I have decided to do one day xmas and one day non xmas – that keeps the ideas fresh! Til tomorrow…
A Ladies Diary Number 11
A Ladies diary paper by Graphic 45…. also used the matching chipboard and stickers on this card, and added a little lace and some authentique vintage buttons picked up from an op shop! I have been making great inroads into my christmas cards over the past couple of days – I still have to make close to 60 more, but there is light at the end of the christmas card tunnel. Nathan and I spent this morning taking photos of my latest cards, so we will start on them tomorrow. I have enjoyed playing with a few new christmas papers, so can’t wait to show you all! Til tomorrow…
A Ladies Diary number 10
I found a previously unseen folder in my files, so thought I would show a few cards from it over the next couple of days before we move onto all the cards I have been making while on holidays! My favourite paper here – A Ladies Diary by Graphic 45,- it’s actually out on my table as we speak – I have made a mountain of cards with this paper and never get bored of it! Here I have teamed it with bazill cardstock, tim holtz tatttered florals garland die, and a stampin up stamp from the established elegance set which I cut out and tucked behind the flower. My poor craft room looks more like a storage facility so today I moved out to the dining table for some serious card making – spread all my new papers out and away I went – it was very successful and I got alot of cards made – it’s all packed up now so no-one will ever know! Til tomorrow…
Cosmo Cricket Evangeline
I only bought a couple of sheet of this paper to make this card for my Auntie who is really not a pink blingy lady.It is Cosmo Cricket Evangeline – Rose and Dandelion. I fussy cut all the flowers and butterflies out of the Rose paper, and the dandelion sheet was good for backing paper. I found the acetate frame in my box of bits and pieces, and die cut the greeting with Spellbinders label fourteen out of some Bazill cardstock. The greeting was from my Stampin Up Perfectly penned set.It has been a lovely day here, and I have spent some time sitting out in the sun – lovely! Til tomorrow….
Prima Zephyr number 4
I wasn’t paying attention but I think this is the last in my Prima Zephyr collection ( until I find the rest of the paper!), and on this card I teamed the paper with the journalling notecards and chipboard pieces.I also used my memory box La Rue flourish die, and stampin up cardstock, ribbon , sentiment stamp and blossom party die. Quick post tonight as it’s grocery shopping night – Til tomorrow….
Prima Zephyr number 3
Hello and welcome to my recent new subscribers. If there is ever anything you want to see more of, or need clearer instructions, or just want to say hi, please feel free to drop me a line!Today we are still on my Prima Zephyr patterned paper collection, also using the matching journalling notecards and chipboard. The rest of this paper still has not turned up in my craft room, but it is in there somewhere, so one day in the future I will stumble upon it and get to finish using it! On this card I also added a flower, ribbon, hat pin and the greeting was a stamp that was free on the front of a magazine – it seemed to fit so well!Today I have been in the craft room making baby boy cards – I had 3 sheets of paper, and so far I am up to card number 7 with them – I am going to run out of paper before I run out of ideas – next weekend I will get Nathan to photo them so I can show you all! Til tomorrow….
Prima Zephyr Collection
I feel in the mood for something bold and bright this afternoon, and this card fits the bill nicely! The paper, chipboard and Journalling notecard are all from the Prima Zephyr collection, and the sentiment and Pool Party seam binding are from stampin Up.The butterfly was die cut using Memory Box Moonlight and Kaliedascope butterfly dies, and I used a little bakers twine as well. I kept the canvas keys til last because these are something new I found and I love them. They are Prima resist canvas ( the pack these came from was the clocks, gears and keys pack). Its a pack chock full of die cut shapes, and when you colour them – I used a tim holtz ranger ink pad and a blending tool, there is a pattern that resists the ink. I bought the pack with the birds in it too, which I haven’t used yet, but may get the opportunity now that my week – end has started – Yay!So looking forward to getting into the craft room and playing wiht all my new paper purchases! Til tomorrow….
