In keeping with my personal challenge of trying to make a male card from each product collection I purchase, I made this card with my american crafts Amy Tangerine Sketchbook papers. No mean feat when the papers are so bright and girly! I die cut some banners using my spellbinders Lacy pennant die, and the label was die cut using spellbinders Labels fourteen. I stamped the sentiment with stampin Up Perfectly Penned, and layered it all on Stampin Up Crumbcake cardstock. I just cut strips of different paper for the base – another good way to use up scraps! One more day at the craft fair, then quite a few weeks refilling by boxes! Til tomorrow….

A bright card..
Here is a bright card to brighten up our dull, cold adelaide weather! The patterned paper is American Crafts amy tangerine Sketchbook, and the cardstock is stampin Up crumbcake. The banner across the top is die cut with spellbinders lacey pennant die, and I also used Stampin Up Blossom Party die for the flowers. The sentiment is stamped with stampin Up perfectly penned stamp. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the craft fair today, took my Mum with me to help out, and I had to stop her from spending all the profits at the other stalls – I hardly saw her all day!Tomorrow Kay ( my sister) is coming to give me a hand- I just hope I see more of her than I did of Mum! Easy male cards
I have found the best paper for making Male cards – it’s Simple Stories – Awesome, so for the next couple of days i will post some of the cards I have created with this great paper! Todays card combines the paper with a docrafts papermania happy Birthday stamp which I stamped a couple of times onto different patterned paper from the same collection and fussy cut various letters out and glued them onto the original stamped image.I fussy cut the banner on the left hand side out of more of the matching paper, made a banner for the bottom right hand side, added some craftworkscards Candi in the corners, and that was it! the base card is Stampin Up Early Espresso.Still can’t move in my craft room, so more tidying up tonight.. Magnolia grove number 5
Here is todays card which is the last in my kaisercraft Magnolia grove series. I have used the 6″ pad today with a label from the matching collectables pack. I added a vintage rose, prima flowers, and liquid pearls and lace . With my cuttlebug I cut a memory box Fauntleroy crest and a couple of flowers with my sizzix tim holtz tattered flower garland die.The greeting is stamped using a stamp from my stampin Up perfectly penned set.I think all the travelling has caught up with me today as I am a bit tired, so I will have a break from the card room tonight and watch some T.V. I think… Til tomorrow….
Magnolia grove 3
Still with kaisercraft Magnolia Grove papers, this time the 6″ pad,a flourish die cut from my memory box fauntleroy crest and another of my homemade crocheted doilies, prima stick pin lovely silk ribbon and a flower which has a story…. One day at the market the lady on the next stall had antique bits and pieces including a stool with a straw hat on it . someone bought the stool but didn’t want the straw hat – but it was covered in these roses so I offered to buy it and such a nice lady – she gave it to me! I am now the pround owner of 50 of these roses, so you will see them pop up now and again! Til tomorrow….
Magnolia grove 2
Kaisercraft Magnolia grove number 2… Again I have used the 12 x 12 papers, and the matching collectables. The sentiment is Stampin Up perfectly penned ( love that stamp) and in the top corner I have done a little arrangement with one of my hand crocheted doilies ( still learning – don’t look too closely) , ribbon, and prima flower and prima petals pin – these were new in my local craft shop the other day and I couldn’t resist them…. Magnolia grove
Straight off I want to say that I found this paper a challenge – it is very pretty, but the muted colours are not what I usually choose, but learning is all about stretching yourself, so I will share my creations with you! I did make an initial 4 cards with this paper which sold before I could photo them, so some people do like this colourway. The paper is Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove, and I have also used the matching collectables, some kaisercraft pearls, lace, ribbon and websters pages clear rhine sparkler. The papers used on this one are all cut from 12 x 12 sheets. Til tomorrow….

Victoria gardens revisited
I liked this paper when I first bought it, and I still like it using it for the second time around! It is Echo park Victoria gardens and I have lost count of the ammount of cards I have made with it. For this one I cut a cameo with my cricut machine and the heritage cartridge, made my flower using sizzix 3d flower die, tried out my new die from Die-namics – fancy flourish, and finished it by punching a border with martha stewart punch – lace doily and adding a little lace and liquid pearls. Rue Des Fleurs number 3

Tonights card has two photos because I decorated the inside of the card as well – something I don’t usually do, but I wanted to carry on the clock/ watch / time theme to the inside of my card. I used stampin Up cardstock – poppy parade, and choc chip ink, and the paper was Stampin Up attic boutique. The stamp set is of course my featured stamp set from stampin Up – Rue Des Fleurs.I used the little stamp onto very vanilla cardstock and fussy cut it, linked it together to make the border down the side and decorated it with kaisercraft pearls. The labels were die cut with Stampin Up decorative label dies and my cuttlebug. Not a lot of crafting done today, but I will get into the craft room tonight for an hour or two as I have an idea buzzing around in my head for a male card… Til tomorrow….
