Another male card! I have used a Stampin Up stamp set – Cheers to you that was one of my first purchases from stampin Up to create this one, and teamed it up with My Minds Eye Be Amazing 6″ paper pad, a recent purchase. I coloured the stamped images with twinkling H2O’s.A quick and easy mens card. I had alovely day today over at the retirement village where we conducted our annual Mothers day cardmaking for the troops. The ladies did a great job, and when I left the count was up to 60 cards made and ready to send.I will be in the card room tonight doing a couple of orders,. Til tomorrow….

The Open Sea
While we are on a bit of a roll with mens cards, I thought I would post this one I made, using all stampin Up supplies. The stamp set is called the open sea, and I used sahara sand, cherry cobbler and not quite navy cardstock, and the same in ink. I tied some bakers twine down one side. A day off tomorrow and I am certainly looking forward to that! I will be doing a fair ammonut of crafting – I have a Mothers day cards marathon to attend, and a couple of orders to fulfill. Shopping tonight, so no crafting tonight.. Til tomorrow….
graphic 45 kraft reflections
I bought a couple of sheets of Graphic 45 new range – Kraft Reflections because I thought they would make great mens cards, and this is my first design. I used some graphic 45 A proper Gentleman patterned paper, and some stampin up cardstock run through the cuttlebug witth a cuttlebug clockworks folder. The bakers twine is from stampin up.I have used lots of this bakers twine – it comes as a 25metre buy, and I am probably going to have to buy more! Back at work today – very sore feet – I will just be relaxing tonight! Til tomorrow…..
Graphic 45 Little darlings
I love the pastel shades of this new paper from graphic 45 – Little darlings. I used stampin up cardstock – pink piroutte for the base card, and added a little bit of lace, and fussy cut a couple of the butterflies from the paper , mounted the panel on cream bazil and inked the edges with tim holtz tumbled glass ink. I have been playing around with stamps and ink today, I only recently bought a craft mat – how did I ever manage without one? hopefully tomorrow Nathan will get the camera out and I can show you what I have done.. Til tomorrow….
Howdy Doody 4
Very quick post before i have to go and prepare tea.. This is the final in the My Minds Eye Howdy Doody series, for now. I combined the lovely paper with a Stamp from Stampin Up – Fresh Vintage, and coloured it with markers. I also used a Cheery Lyn die – Kiwi, ans a spellbinders label die, through my cuttlebug. I just added some liquid pearls and some seam binding. The gorgeous brad is from the My Minds eye howdy doody collection as well. Today I have been taking advantage of my holidays and doing some experimenting in the craft room… Til tomorrow….
Howdy doody 2
As I mentioned yesterday, this is my favourite paper – My minds Eye Howdy Doody – at the moment, and I didn’t want to cut into this piece, so I’ve let the paper speak for itself ! I die cut the heart with my x – cut hearts die, and went right around the edge with lace, gathering as I went. The greeting is a stampin up stamp from my blessed Mother set, stamped onto stampin Up pool party cardstock and punched out with a stampin up decorative punch. i just added a little kindyglitz to highlight some flowers, and a few drops of white liquid pearls. Spent this morning with Mum at the shops, stocking up on lots of lovely lace, and then trying on ( and buying!) some new clothes – she is a very bad influence – I am sure she thought she was on a commission from the dress shop! a lovely day…. til tomorrow….
Field flowers 3
Here is todays card, still continuing with my new Stampin Up Field flowers stamp set. I did get the idea for this card from a magazine – I thought I have all the papers they used – I can do that, then as I started it totally changed… which is why I very rarely copy ideas! The papers used are Authentique Uncommon, and I stamped my image directly onto the patterned paper with basic black ink. The cardstock is Stampin Up sahara sand and very Vanilla, and I added lace and white liquid pearls – the best invention… Another very hot day here – 37C again ( thats over 100 F for my overseas visitors) and impossible to craft in this heat. The air conditioner has been making horrible noises and we prayed it would make it through the night, which it did, only just, and this morning saw my husband up on the roof changing a fan belt – crisis averted, it’s going like a little beauty now thankfully. I am off to the Market tomorrow, will be hot, but I am looking forward to seeing my regular customers there. Til tomorrow….
Field flowers 2
Here is card number 2 using my new stampin up stamp set – Field flowers. The inks used were stampin up tangerine tango, more mustard, and old olive, and the cardstock was also stampin up daffodil yellow, tangerine tango and old olive. I just added 3 brads and some ribbon. Its been another very hot day here in Adelaide, and I have been out celebrating Dads 80th birthday with Mum, dad and my 2 sisters. Have eaten far too much and now have to face the kitchen to feed the blokes here who didn’t come out with us!May or may not visit the craft room tonight – it depends whether it cools down a bit…. Til tomorrow….
Field flowers
This is the first card I made with my new stamp set from Stampin Up Field Flowers. All products used are stampin Up – cardstock and ink – Calypso coral and pool party, and designer paper – everyday enchantment. The die is a stampin up sizzix die – top note. Very quick post tonight as its tea time, and, people are wondering here it is! Til tomorrow…..
Upsy daisy
I have been using these two colours a lot this week, but I didn’t have ribbon to match, so I dyed my own using my little spray mister, a little water and a few drops of re -inker. Whenever I but an ink pad I also buy a bottle of refill ink, and this comes in handy for jobs just like this. The ribbon was originally stampin up whisper white taffeta ribbon, and when I had dyed my ribbon I still had some mix in my spray bottle, and not wanting to waste it I sprayed this piece of Stampin Up confetti Ivory cardstock. I like the effect it has created, and I will be experimenting more with this technique. I stamped Stampin Up Upsy daisy stamp and black embossed it. The greeting is Stampin Up four frames stamp, and petite pairs, and it was punched out with a matching decorative punch. This is a new set for me, I have been using them a lot so you will see more of them! The background card colours are Stampin Up calypso coral and Pool party. Today I have planned out my April paper flourish lesson – I am so far ahead now when it comes time to do that class I will have forgotten what I did!And I have been playing with the new graphic 45 papers which are beautiful… Til tomorrow….
