I have a village lesson to teach tonight, so I actually wasn’t going to post today, but I want to share something with you all . Today when I was shopping at my local shop I found out that yesterday 8 people had their handbags snatched out of their trolleys in the local supermarket. It’s that time of year when people get very brazen in order to fund their xmas shopping, so to you all, my friends, when you are shopping have a good tight grip on your handbags or even better, just have your money, cards and keys in a secure pocket. Now on to todays post. The paper and collectables are from kaisercraft Madame Boutique, the cardstock is Stampin Up Baja Breeze, the flower was created with a sizzix die – flower layers #9 and I used tissue paper and an old dress pattern and added a couple of feathers. The lace is a stamp from Kaisercraft called lace, next time I use it I won’t use such a dark ink pad, a bit more subtle would have been the way to go! Tomorrow you will see how I turned Madame Boutique into a mens card… Til tomorrow…..

Madame Boutique 1
I think I have shown a couple of cards made with this paper before, but it was a little while ago, so we will start this series again at number one! It is kaisercraft Madame Boutique paper and matching collectables, and I just added a little lace and ribbon ( of course!) I haven’t been in the craft room all week, and I am looking forward to sitting in there tonight. I still have brand new papers – not even cut into yet – to play with, but it is a very busy time of year at work and so exhausting… Til tomorrow….
Timeless Vintage 3 ( male)
I have developed the habit of challenging myself to create male cards out of the various collections I buy – sometimes its quite difficult as many of the collections are geared towards female cards, but this one was easy – again using Kaisercraft Timeless Vintage 6″ pad, I only added 3 black brads to complete the look. Thats alI have in the photo files of this particular paper, so tomorrow we will see something completely different! Tonight will be spent writing out xmas cards, so much easier to make them than find time to actually post them! Til tomorrow…..
Timeless vintage 2
As promised we are back to the Kaisercraft Timeless vintage 6″ pad. On this card I have fussy cut some of the butterlies and added a bit of lace – of course! I also sponged Antique linen Ink (Tim Holtz – ranger) around the card and paper to soften the edges.A quick post tonight as it’s shopping night – Til tomorrow…..
Favourite paper,Favourite stamp 2
The recipe for this card is the same as the post below, with the addition of my new spellbinders die and a stamp.Tomorrow I will get back to my kaisercraft timeless vintage cards I promise! The cardstock on this card was Stampin up Certainly Celery.Today I have created 6 cards in a monochromatic theme, and after all that black and white I had to break out the brightest papers I could find to get my colour fix for the day. Nathans camera should be back at the end of this week so I will be able to photo them all then. Til tomorrow…..
My favourite stamp and paper (for today!)
I have skipped ahead a bit in my photo files to show this card – we took some photos of my recent makes, and this was one and I couldn’t resist posting it, because it is my favourite for just now. The paper is My Minds Eye Lost and Found Rosy ( absolutlely gorgeous colours) and the bird stamp is Young Vermillion by Stampin Up . I coloured the bird by daubing brown , orange, and yellow ink onto cream cardstock, then stamping in dark brown, and cutting out the image. I added a little red onto his chest after cutting. On the card I added Prima leaves, assorted flowers and a feather. The greeting is Stampin Up Perfectly penned, also a favourite and you will probably see it more than once on my blog! Today I am playing with the new kaiser paper releases for december – also beautiful – and enjoying myself immensely! Til tomorrow…..
Timeless Vintage
This paper is from a 6″ pad called Vintage Timeless that kaisercraft released a couple of months a go, but due to the ammount of xmas cards I have made I really haven’t had time to create with it yet, but I have a couple of cards to show over the next couple of days. there are all sorts of images in this pad, including a couple of pages of butterflies, which I very quickly fussy cut – my favourite thing! All I added was a bit of maroon lace – after all what is vintage without the lace? A long hard day at work today, so I don’t think I will be visiting the craft room, but at least I have 2 days off now and will be continuing on in my bid to clear some space in my paper drawers.. Til tomorrow….
Garden gala
Todays card was made using Websters pages Garden gala paper, with the addition of some flowers,a leaf , bling flourish and a bit of lace. I added some layering, and there you are, a card with a bit of a vintage feel! Very busy at work with 6 am starts, so a bit tired in the evenings, and not much crafting happening through the week. Bit sad…. til tomorrow….
Flowers I had to have….
I saw these flowers, and although they were a little more than I usually pay for flowers I had to have them, so this will be a special card that goes into my box for special birthdays ( probably Mums) . The paper is believe it or not – Melissa Francis Deck the Halls , so this could have been included in the series below, and the cardstock is stampin Up basic black. I used a spellbinders die for the frame and a tim holtz die for the acetate bird which does’nt show too well in the photo. I just added ribbon. today I have broken my rule of finishing one project before starting another and have three different projects on the go so I am now off to complete a couple of them before my brain explodes! Til tomorrow….
Spellbinders birdcage die….
I had to hunt through my stash of papers to recall this one…. it is Prima Reflections 6″ pad, combined with a newly purchased spellbinders die which has the birdcage and this cute bird, and just had to add ribbon, a stick pin and some flowers. The flourish is a Stampin Up die. A lovely day today, creating with friends, the best way to pass a Sunday afternoon. For now I am back to the craft room and more xmas cards.. sigh… til tomorrow…..
