Graphic 45 Bird Song card

Here is my first ( and only at the moment as I have been distracted with xmas cards) Graphic 45 Bird Song card. Lovely paper and I am looking forward to doing more with it, in the meantime, I did a lot of fussy cutting for this one, and mounted the images on to stampin Up cardstock – Earl Espresso and Baja Breeze. I added some seam binding and gold liquid pearls for texture.Today is a beautiful day outside, and it’s a shame to waste it, so perhaps no creating but sitting in the garden with a good book! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Christmas emporium 9,10,11 and 12

To finish off my Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium series I have put up the last four cards so that tomorrow we can look at something non – christmassy! These cards are so simple – just lots of images from the papers , a bit of fussy cutting and layering, and added interest with the ribbon, craftworks candi, lace , rhinestones and kindglitz. I have been quite busy in the carft room over the last couple of days, and will have to get nathan busy with the camera tomorrow.I am on holidays for a couple of weeks, and I really want to finish off some paper collections to make room fro the gorgeous Kaisercraft that is coming out over the next couple of months ( I was lucky and had a sneak peek!)Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium 7 and 8

Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium patterned paper – the card on the right is self explanitory, the image takes up the whole of my card front, so didn’t need much else. The card on left, is another story… I used an EK Success punch, some ribbon and trim and craftworks candi. The Die Cut in the centre is a neat little stampin Up die which opens to reveal another image inside. I don’t actually have this die set, we got to play with it at the stampin up convention Kay kindly invited me along to in May, but it is on my wish list!I have been creating up a storm today in the craft room, and I am going back there after this to continue a few projects I have left to dry.. Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 christmas Emporium 5 and 6

These two cards were so easy, the images were all there on the Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium papers, just a matter of some matting for interest, and ribbon for texture – done! Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Christmas Emporium 3 and 4

Although I have titled these cards Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium, I think a little bit of graphic 45 Christmas Past from the previous year has crept into these ones – just goes to show – never throw away those scraps! also explains why I cant move in my craft room at the moment. The time is coming for a ruthless clean up. These cards are self explanitory, a bit of fussy cutting of the images, some layering and bakers twine and ribbon added for texture and interest.I also see I used an ek success border punch on the card on the right. Til tomorrow….

graphic 45 Christmas emporium 1 and 2

We are back to some christmas cards, and i have used Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium paper collection, which is last years release, but I had a big pad tucked wasy which I didn’t use last year, and i was very excited to stumble upon it,as graphic 45 is one of my favourite paper companys! I made these two cards as 6×6 cards, I don’t often do that size, but  the images are large and I didn’t want to cut into them. For the card on the left, I did a little layering, inking and distressing and added a tag with a stampin up vintage brad. For the card on the right I also layered, ( no distressing) ans added gold craftworks candi, and a stampin up midnight muse ribbon bow. Had agreat class today with my monday ladies, and also bought a few new male themed stamps to play with – one month soon the ladies are going to do male cards!Til tomorrow….

A Ladies Diary Number 11

A Ladies diary paper by Graphic 45…. also used the matching chipboard and stickers on this card, and added a little lace and some authentique vintage buttons picked up from an op shop! I have been making great inroads into my christmas cards over the past couple of days – I still have to make close to 60 more, but there is light at the end of the christmas card tunnel. Nathan and I spent this morning taking photos of my latest cards, so we will start on them tomorrow. I have enjoyed playing with a few new christmas papers, so can’t wait to show you all! Til tomorrow…

A Ladies Diary number 10

I found a previously unseen folder in my files, so thought I would show a few cards from it over the next couple of days before we move onto all the cards I have been making while on holidays! My favourite paper here – A Ladies Diary by Graphic 45,- it’s actually out on my table as we speak – I have made a mountain of cards with this paper and never get bored of it! Here I have teamed it with bazill cardstock, tim holtz tatttered florals garland die, and a stampin up stamp from the established elegance set which I cut out and tucked behind the flower. My poor craft room looks more like a storage facility so today I moved out to the dining table for some serious card making – spread all my new papers out and away I went – it was very successful and I got alot of cards made – it’s all packed up now so no-one will ever know! Til tomorrow…

Graphic 45 A ladies diary number 9

Still clearing my files, and here is another Graphic 45 A ladies Diary card. I used stampin Up Early espresso cardstock, and the stickers and chipboard that came with the ladies diary collection. I used up a scrap of lace under the chipboard, and The Brad is a stampin up vintage brad. I got my order from Kay today, so much new stuff to play with – I am beside myself! I have to clear a project on my desk, then it’s out with all the goodies..Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 A Ladies diary card number 8

When I made this card it reminded me of a painting hanging on a wall, and The graphic 45 A ladies Diary chipboard was perfect for this. The card is self explanatory, but the white strip is interesting. I cut it to size, then put it in my trimmer, but instead of cutting, I ran my bone folder down the cutting lane ( did this twice – just moved the cardstock over a little) and it gave these wonderful embossed lines which is exactly the look I wanted for my picture rail! Tonight I will be in the craft room putting the finished touches to my order, and then I will be all organised to start playing with my new stampin up stuff when I get it tomorrow… Til tomorrow…
