Some cards over the next couple of days from a range from Graphic 45 , Le Amour. The top card has lots of fussy cutting, and just a ribbon bow, whereas the bottom card has a bit more work – I die cut a dress form with a kaisercraft die, and a small doily ( also kaisercraft) and added a ribbon, gold thread and a stampin up cream ribbon rose for some added texture. Today while shopping a had a look at some greeting cards, just out of curiosity – I haven’t bought a card for years, and I couldn’t believe the prices!! $10 for a card! Wow! I will stick to making mine – I save money and relax at the same time – it’s win win! Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home, kitchen tea
My sister was going to a kitchen tea, so I made her this card. I shaped the front of the card base like an apron, and then covered it and the inside with graphic 45 Home sweet home paper. I made a pocket for the front of the apron, and didn’t stick down the top edge so that I could pop a recipe card in it – the graphic 45 Home sweet home collection had these in the collection. Ribbon, and lace to finish! The weather here is much milder this week,so I am feeling a lot more comfortable, although it is heating up again for the weekend so I will make the most of the cooler weather while it’s here!Til tomorrow….

I Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas break!Today I am showing a couple of side stepper cards I made with graphic 45 A gilded lily paper collection. I have done a very quick and easy youtube video tutorial on how to do these shaped cards – I have adjusted the measurements so that they fit into a standard envelope, and I think they still have the same wow factor..the link is over here on the right hand side of my blog. All I added to these was some ribbon and lace, and fussy cutting of the papers added the rest of the decoration. Today is a gorgeous day here in Adelaide, a much nicer 27C expected today, and a perfect day to relax and recover from the Christmas madness! til tomorrow…

graphic 45 Le’Amour wedding card
Yesterday we attended the wedding of some friends, ( it was lovely), and I made this special card for them. The paper collection is Graphic 45 Le’Amour, and I did some fussy cutting and layering, and used one of the journalling cards from the same collection at the base of the card. The Bee in the heart up in the top corner is there because one half of the couple is called Bea, and I thought it added a very personal touch! she can take it off the card and keep it as a memento of the day if she wants. Graphic 45 time to celebrate double easel card
What lovely weather we had for a short time today! It was lovely to feel the sun on my face, although it has grown rather overcast now, I am glad to have had the opportunity to get all my washing dried! I taught a full class of 18 this morning with 5 new cardmakers as well, so I was very busy, but so enjoyable! Talking of classes , todays cards are actually a couple of cards we did in a previous class of mine. Paper is graphic 45 Time to celebrate, and they are double easel cards. No other embellishing necessary, just the papers, a fair bit of fussy cutting, and a couple of ribbon bows.Looking forward to this weekend, when I will be making a start on Octobers lessons. Time is flying – it will be Christmas before we know it, and that will be the theme for October! Til tomorrow….
