Graphic 45 a ladies diary Sympathy card

IMG_5166 (Medium)IMG_5166 (Medium)Graphic 45 A ladies diary … this one is a sympathy card so I have kept it really simple, with just the image of the rose, and then used sticker borders around it. The cardstock is stampin up .This weekend I have made a start on Christmas cards. i always start with my christmas stamp sets, and then move on to last years left over papers, mainly because there are no paper collections around yet! The sneaky peeks I have seen are really not my style this year – not a vintage collection to be found, so at least this year my older papers will get used up.Til tomorrow…

graphic 45 A ladies diary revisited!! numbers 15 and 16

IMG_5151 (Medium)IMG_5163 (Medium)A couple of weeks ago I came across some graphic 45 papers in the craft room, predominately A ladies Diary, but I have mixed it with le romantique, and Baby to Bride. The top card is an easel card ( stampin up cardstock) and all A ladies diary, paper, a chipboard piece, and lace and ribbon. the bottom card has a bit of Le Romantique as the background mat,a stampin up vintage brad, some fussy cutting and lace. I think this is still my favourite paper collection!Life here has been so busy, but the roast lunch is in the oven, and I am off to the craft room to make up an order and create for the rest of the afternoon, just to de-stress!Til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Artisan Style 4 and 5

IMG_5128 (Medium)There was going to be 2 cards today, but for some reason the second card wouldn’t upload..I will try it again next time, in the mean time here is this one…I made a DL size card which is a piece of cardstock 21cm x 21cm folded in half. I wanted to fit both peacocks on the card so that was the reasoning behind that decision! I punched a border with an EK success punch, and added some gorgeous satin ribbon ( stampin up) and lots of rhinestones to the peacocks tails.Til tomorrow…..

graphic 45 artisan style 2 and 3

IMG_5123 (Medium)IMG_5125 (Medium)Two more cards made with graphic 45 Artisan style. I didn’t use too much embellishments with this paper – it really didn’t need it – there is so much going on  -. I had two pieces of the paper I used on the top card so I fussy cut small elements of the flower and popped them on top with 3d foam pads, and did the same with the bottom card – the chimney and front door is a second piece over the top held on with foam pads. I cut some letters out of anther piece of paper from the same collection for the new home wording, and stuck on a key embellishment. A nice  relaxing weekend , very cold here though, so not too much happening in the craft room – very cold through there!! til tomorrow….

Over the next few days i will show you all what i did with the rest of this paper! glad it’s the weekend, and I am up to date with all my lessons, so Will be able to spend an amount of time in the craft room just creating. til tomorrow…..

A couple of special family makes

IMG_3065 (Medium)IMG_3074 (Medium)two cards today that I made with specific people in mind – that doesn’t happen often ,ususally I am making cards for classes, orders or craft fairs. The top card was for my sons’ birthday. the stamp set is from stampin up ( Guy greetings),as is the designer paper and I coloured the image with copics. My boys and husband run a wrestling company and gym so this was perfect for Daniel. The bottom card was for a kitchen tea,so I made an apron and popped a recipe card ( paper and recipe card by graphic 45 – home sweet home) in the apron pocket.Today I taught a lesson over at the retirement village, and enjoyed afternoon tea with my ladies. My sister came along to help and she gave me the new Stampin Up catalogue so I am looking forward to a night in front of the heater with my pen and notepad compiling my wishlist! Til tomorrow….

Graphic 45 A place in time 11 and 12

IMG_8537 (Medium)IMG_8536 (Medium)I have titled these ones  A place in time., but I am a bit torn – they could be from graphic 45 Time to celebrate…either way they are graphic 45 papers,my favourite paper company and I love working with any of their paper. Just a little layering and ribbon and lace for these 2 easy cards.Today has been a lovely relaxing day in the craft room, doing an order or two, and making some male cards for all the male birthdays coming up in our family, and in between a few cards ready for the fair boxes. I haven’t settled on one thing – just moved from paper collection and stamp set as the fancy took me- not a way I usually work, but fun just the same. I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break, til tomorrow…..

Graphic 45 Time to Flourish 12 and 13 April….

IMG_0855 (Medium)two quick cards today made with graphic 45 Time to flourish april sheets. On the left, a lot of fussy cutting ( this is more than likely going to be Mums Mothers day card as she loves daffodils) and on the right a very quick and easy easter card., with a little nit of fussy cutting stuck around the image for a bit of interest!we are having power cuts on and off today, luckily we have been warned, but every time the power comes back on there is a mad rush to the computer! it’s amazing how reliant we have become on technology! Til tomorrow….
