Sorry I have been missing for a few days, I have been busy with work, creating classes and then the usual running of the household! As we speak there is a man on my roof restoring it, it is old and tired and had developed leaks….something some of us can commiserate with !The Two cards today are made with kaisercraft Miss Betty collection, I keep promising to make a you tube clip showing how to do this fold, and it will get done, Nathan has had a few problems with the cameras, but I think those kinks may be fixed so we shall see.. The sticker sheet that comes with the kaisercraft collections is perfect for doing these cards, they usually have long borders on them that I never know what to do with but they fit perfectly along the thinner zig zag strip. In other news I have taken the first step towards starting my Christmas cards.. I have been out to the shed and collected some christmas papers! I will take it over to mum and dads place today and sit and chat and craft with them.. til tomorrow….
To finish off this group of photos is another card I designed for a lesson. We used Kaisercraft Miss Betty paper, layered it all up, die cut an oval and added a bunch of flowers and a ribbon bow. All the edges were inked with tea dye ink.I will be back tomorrow with some cards I made using Graphic 45 floral shoppe papers – absolutely gorgeous papers! It has been so cold here this week, my sister knitted us some fingerless gloves so that we can keep warm but keep crafting! I have made a little headway on designing the cards that I will teach on the cruise, and I have sorted all my August lesson cards, so maybe this week i will get to play with all my new Pion and Maja designs papers which are sitting in the craft room teasing me with their beauty! Til tomorrow…..
I seem to be jumping all over the place with my photos this month, but I had a lot of random bits and pieces on my desk and had a bit of a push to try and use them up, so this is a card I made with leftover bits and pieces from Kaisercraft Miss Betty collection. Lots of layering, and a bit of fussy cutting, and just a little ribbon bow! Today i bought opur puppy a winter coat. She is not sure about it, and sat in one place for a long time ( highly unusual for her!) deciding if she should move or not. I have included a photo here for you all! Til tomorrow….
The Kaisercraft Miss Betty collection worked perfectly as a double zigzag card, and here are two that I made with this collection. I used a mix of 12 x 12 papers, some papers from the 6″ pad and the matching collectables. On the top card i made the most of my lace, ribbon and flowers whereas on the lower card I only added a little ribbon and a few sequins. I had a great day yesterday playing with my new Go Press and Foil cut, foil and emboss dies, here is a selection of completed cards!
The second card made with kaisercraft Miss Betty collection! Here I have used some of the 12 x 12 sheets, and the matching collectables. The die cut fence is a couture creations die and I inked around all my distressed edges with tea dye ink and added a ribbon bow and little flower. This week has been hugely busy at work putting out all the new pre orders and I must admit I have a few new things to play and experiment with including the new Go Press and foil foil, emboss and cut dies ( which do all that in one step!). They are on my dining table ready to go in about 5 minutes!! til tomorrow….
I have managed to find a little time to play with Kaisercraft Miss Betty. This is my favourite kind of paper, it has a vintage shabby kind of look and I can go to town using my ribbons and lace! For todays card I distressed all of my edges ( 12 x 12 papers) and inked them with tea dye distress ink. I did some die cutting, including a lovely leaf die which I used on an old book page, and inked with more tea dye ink, and added some of the collectables from the same range , extra flowers, pearl strip, and a ribbon bow.Til tomorrow…..
