These two cards were made with Kaisercraft tropical Punch collection( including the sticker sheet)and a flourish die, also by Kaisercraft. It is a big flourish, so I used it as the focus on the top card, but on the lower card I cut it up into pieces.Of all the brands of dies I have used, these dies from kaisercraft are the best when it comes to removing your paper or cardstock from the die – usually they just fall out!Wouldn’t the flourish make a great tail for a bird? May have to experiment with that idea! Til tomorrow….

The paper I used here is Tropical Punch by Kaisercraft, and the Die is also by kaisercraft. I die cut the feather and ran it through the cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I used the off cut from the feather die to sponge through to create the inked images on the patterned paper.( tea Dye distress ink).A flower, punched leaf,and bir ribbon bow and this one was complete! A die with a twist..
A little while ago I filmed a youtube clip for Paper Flourish showcasing some kaisercraft dies.The two dies I used were the flourish die and the feather die. This is one of the cards I created using these dies and some kaisercraft tropical punch paper. I die cut the feather, and then used the piece I would normally throw away – inked the edges with Tea dye distress ink, and backed it with some tropical punch paper. I love this effect and it has made me look at all my off cuts in a different way! I just added a doily, bling,flower and bakers twine to finish a different style of card for me.Oh, and I love kaisercraft dies. of all the dies I have used these ones cut the easiest – just fall away. no poking required.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft off the wall number 2
For the second card in my Kaisercraft off the wall series I have used the 6″paper pad, and the frame is from the pack of matching collectables. I have fussy cut various bits from the papers to make a game screen.Today I have come to the realisation that I may have too much paper in my craft room, and it has become a bit of a fire hazard. I am trying to come to terms with the fact that it may be time to cull. I am thinking of making bundles to sell on my craft stall in June.At the moment just thinking aloud,but I think this is the best way to go. We shall see..I hope all of you have had a lovely Christmas break with family and friends. i am back to work tomorrow, so must go abd get myself organised. Til tomorrow…..
Kaisercraft off the wall number 1
kaisercraft brought out a brilliant range of papers for teens and boys last month called off the wall. I have only made a couple of cards with it so far but there will be a lot more to come as my family is full of young men!This is one card i have made with it using the 12 x 12 papers and the matching collectables.Meanwhile today i have been making some cards with graphic 45 Time to flourish – the most gorgeous set of papers to play with! til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft sandy toes number 1
As today is so hot here I thought it would be a good idea to put up a card that makes me feel cool while I look at it! The paper collection is a new release from Kaisercraft – Sandy toes, and is full of lovely patterns and cool colours.I inked around all my edges with shades of blue and green distress ink, and added a bit more colour to the panel with the ship on it too.Wound a little linen thread around my main panel, and added a charm to finish.I am off now to finish wrapping some presents, and then I think I am all organised for Christmas! til tomorrow…..

Here are the last two ( for now) cards made with Kaisercraft Tropical Punch.Again I have used the 12 x 12 papers ( so still a whole 6″ pad to use later!)and on the top card matching collectables.Admittedly the bottom card was made with lots of leftover bits on my table!So busy at work just now I haven’t the energy for the craft room, but certainly looking forward to the Christmas break to relax in there! These bright colours certainly make a change from all the shades of red and green we have been working with! Both of todays cards use the 12 x 12 papers from the Tropical Punch collection by kaisercraft, and I also used some collectables from the same collection on the top card. Flowers, ribbon, stampin up greeting stamp and fussy cutting ( on the bottom card) to finish.Til tomorrow……
Kaisercraft tropical Punch 1 and 2
As promised, we have moved on from Christmas and now to catch up on some other cards I have been working on. This collection is Kaisercraft tropical Punch which was released a couple of months ago. I have used the 12 x 12 papers on both cards and made good use of the matching collectables as well. A couple of flowers, and some lovely yellow ribbon, and done!Cardstock is Stampin up.Til tomorrow….
Kaisercraft Rustic harmony 4,5 and 6
Another three cards made with kaisercraft rustic Harmony.The papers are an assortment from the 6″ pad and the 12 x 12 papers, and I have used some of the matching collectables. lots of lace, doilies and die cut flowers,inked all my edges with tea dye distress ink, and even roughed up the edges on the bottom card!Love this range of papers, but had to put it away to concentrate on christmas cards, but now thats over I will be making more with this one.
