Holly Bright number 2

IMG_5356 (Medium)Here is number 2, made with kaisercraft Holly Bright – 6″paper pad, and the 12 x 12 sheet in the same collection that has all the greetings on it. I did a little bit of matting, and added a cream ribbon for this simple card. Another cold night here, so once again it’s just a night in front of the heater and TV! Til tomorrow…..

Holly Bright – christmas 2013

IMG_5355 (Medium)Well, we have the net back – lets hope it’s for more than a couple of days this time! This month Kaisercraft released the first of their christmas papers for this year, and my classes this month have been using this collection. I made a few different ones at home, so I thought I would post a few of them over the next few days.the collection is called Holly Bright, and it’s a very homespun feel of design, with a lovely jewel green colour and a beige that would go well with kraft cardstock. Here i have used papers from the 6″ pad for the background and the scallop edging, and fussy cut some of the flowers from a 12 x 12 piece of paper. There is a whole sheet full of greetings which I have used here, and I also used a tag from the collectables pack. For now I am off to clear my in box which may be full to bursting after so many days! Til tomorrow….

Summer Breeze number 4

IMG_7686 (Medium)Sorry I have been missing for the last few days, but once again we are without the internet – not happy, and would ring to complain but we are without phone lines again! Luckily thanks to the wizardry of nathan I have a small window this morning, but not sure how long it will be before normal service resumes! Todays card is still using Kaisecraft Summer Breeze 6″paper pad and matching collectables. Again I inked around the edges of the collectables in pink ink, and added just a couple of kaisercraft rhinestones. Times up – must go – til tomorrow… maybe…..

Summer Breeze number 3

IMG_7685 (Medium)Kiasercraft Summer Breeze paper pad, and matching collectables were used for this card – and i used a lot of collectables to create a riotous garden of colour! I inked around each piece with pink ink and used foam pads on some of the pieces for different heights. I added some kaisercraft rhinestones, and the sentiment stamp is from Stampin Up. A lovely morning with my ladies this morning, and I have  had a nice rest this afternoon, so tonight  I will be found in the craft room fulfilling some orders, and playing with some new stuff! til tomorrow….

Summer Breeze number 2

IMG_7684 (Medium)How ironic the title of this post is! As I sit here we are waiting for a huge storm to hit – a severe weather  warning has been issued, and it is freezing here at the moment! The paper is Kaisercraft Summer breeze, and for this card I used a piece of 12 x 12 paper for the flowery layer, and a piece of paper from the 6″ pad for the background layer. The butterflies are from the matching collectables, and I used a stampin up sentiment stamp on a die cut piece, also from the 6″ paper pad.I am off now to get my bag prepared for my favourite class tomorrow – looking forward to catching up with my Mature Ladies! Til tomorrow….

Summer Breeze number 1

IMG_7683 (Medium)Wow we are behind a little bit – I made this group of cards some time ago with a new release from Kaisercraft called Summer Breeze. Here I have used some paper from the 6″ paper pad, fussy cut the squares, and added a little bling to the flower images. I cut an extra image of the top flower and popped it on top with some foam pads. Over the last few days I have been experimenting with s0me new markers – Kaisercraft have brought out a range and next time Nathan has the camera out I will take some shots of what I have been up to! Til tomorrow……

Kaisercraft Porcelain rose 10 and 11 – The last….

IMG_5848 (Medium)Quick post tonight, as Tea is cooking as we speak! Here are my last two cards made using Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose, so tomorrow we move on to something new! I made good use of the collectables for these cards, used the 6″ pad for the backgrounds, and created a little scene using the border strips, chairs , flowers and tags ( which I used as pictures on the wall) I loved working with this collection, the colours were so varied, and the range of cards I made all looked different. I have none of these cards left now as they all sold at my craft fair stall.Off now to dish up tea, Til tomorrow….

Porcelain rose number 9 with acetate

IMG_5847 (Medium)This one was a hard one to photo so i hope you all get the general idea! I used Kiasercraft Porcelain Rose paper, and the gorgeous sheet of acetate that was released with this collection. The 12 x 12 ” acetate has a beautiful pattern all the way around it, with roses, and birds so I did this design a few times using every inch of that acetate! I cut the front of my base card off and replaced it with acetate, while inside I lined the card with paper, and added a little pocket with a journal card from the matching collectables so that you can write a message to the recipient. Back to work for me today, so bit tired tonight, and a night in front of the tv is all I will be up to! Til tomorrow…

Porcelain rose number 8, Anniversary card

IMG_5843 (Medium)I hope you are still with mme – this group of cards has been bigger than I thought! Still with the Kiasercraft Porcelain Rose paper, this time the 6″ pad and collectables, with just a little ribbon and kindyglitz to finish. A different colour  again, but I love the background paper. I have been out this morning teaching a class, great time was has by all – especially me- they are very entertaining, my ladies! And now I am back in the craft room, still working on my lemon/grey cards.Til tomorrow….

An Engagement card today..

IMG_5842 (Medium)I made an engagement card with Porcelain rose ( kaisercraft) paper and a couple of the matching collectables. The die used is Spellbinders floral oval, and I added daisy trim and clear rhinestones to finish. I do like the black white and red colour scheme on this one. I have been busy in the craft room today, with more than one project on the go  which is unusual for me – I do like to finish one ideas before I move on, but so many thoughts swirling around I had to get them all down and still have one colour scheme to try. lemon and grey – I think it will look ok but we will see! the other things I have been up to are two pieces of canvas art which are drying as we speak and quite a few cards using kaisercrafts new true Romance papers – gorgeous soft pastel colours on that one.Til tomorrow….
