Secret Admirer number 4

IMG_7221 (Medium)Hi all, sorry I missed yesterday, but  life got away from me and I ran out of time! Hopefully things settle a bit after Christmas! So today we are still using the same 12 x 12 sheet of paper from Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection and the matching collectables, and here I have stamped my greeting on the centre of one, and arranged a few to the left of the card. Added some flowers ( kaisercraft) a punched butterfly, pearls and some gorgeously bright pink ribbon.I taught a small class today – too close to christmas for a lot of people – bought some beautiful do- crafts art deco die cuts and paper, and have spent a lovely afternoon creating – just what I needed! Til tomorrow….

The butterfly is punched with a martha stewart butterfly punch, and I added ribbon and pearls to finish. Quick posts this week, as I am very busy at work, and shattered by the time I get home – no crafting this week! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Secret Admirer number 1…

IMG_7218 (Medium)Nathan got out his camera today and we took some photos so I have a lot of very recent cards to show you all over the next couple of weeks. The first group are all made using Kaisercraft Secret Admirer collection. I haven’t yet been able to purchase my 6″ pad as there has been a little hold up with availability, so I have been using the 12 x 12 papers and on this first card I also added some ribbon, pearls ,lace and kindyglitz. The butterflies are die cut with Cheery Lyn Exotic Butterflies, and the sentiment is Stampin Up perfectly penned. I am off to the craft room for a couple of hours to unwind after a very busy and stressful week! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft pickled pear!

IMG_4251 (Medium)Today I taught a class with my lovely ladies using Kaisercraft Pickled Pear papers, so thought it would be an idea to show a couple of other cards I have made using this paper collection over the next couple of days. I also used the matching collectables, and a prims canvas bird, which I coloured with a sponge a nd distress inks. The lovely branchy bits is made by stamping  a kaisercraft pickled pear stamp onto acetate and cutting out. I will definitely be found in the craft room tonight, so looking forward to it! til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft pickled pear

Todays card is another card in a box, and I am busy in the craft room making more of these for an order. For this one, I used stampin Up cardstock – certainly celery, and Kaisercraft patterned paper – pickled pear. I do like this paper, and have made another card with it which I will show you tomorrow,in the meantime for this one I cut a rectangle out of the fromt of the card using a spellbinders die, and covered the front with some of the paper. I used a stamp from the matching stamp set to stamp onto acetate with black stazon ink and cut it out. this worked a treat and I will be doing this again!I stauck a panel from the paper that had an inspirational sentiment on it to the insiside of the card, and popped on a butterfly sticker from the pickled pear sticker sheet. After all that it was just a matter of flowers, ribbon and bling to finish. That’s it for today – it’s back to the craft room for me…Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft periwinkle 2

Here is the only other card I have had time to make using Kaisercraft Periwinkle paper. I punched a border with E.K. Success fan border punch, which I have been using a lot lately, and the bird is a stamp from Oxford Impressions Nature set. I can’t tell you where the leaf stamps are from – I have looked in my room – it’s a disaster area in there at the moment, and I can’t lay my hands on the stamp set used, but I do know I stamped them on white and coloured them with distress inks and a sponge dauber. I have had a lovely day with my Mum, visiting the craft shops, and looking at all the new releases, ahh, so much product, not enough crafting time! Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Periwinkle number 1

Here is another kaisercraft collection that I purchased last month, but due to the volume of christmas cards I have made, I haven’t had time to fully explore. I have managed to make a couple which I will post today and tomorrow, hopefully I will get back to it soon… collection is Kaisercraft Periwinkle, and I have also used the matching collectables here. The cardstock is Stampin Up early esspresso, and the sentiment is also stampin up. I tied a big ribbon for a bit of added interest, and sponged the bird in a matching shade to tie it all in. I am in the craft room today, have made another 10 cards using kaisercraft turtle dove – that brings the total up to 40! great collection.I am not going to photo them as I think you are all over that particular collection. I have moved on to boys cards, and will be photoing them. Til tomorrow…

kaisercarft turtle dove 27,28,29,30!

Here they are – the very last Kaisercraft Turtle Dove I promise you! These ones have been made using the 12 x 12 papers, and matching collectables, as well as a bit of bling and ribbon.Tomorrow we will move right away from christmas although I am still making christmas cards . I thought i had finished but an order came through for 30 cards so it’s back out with all things red and green, and I might even get to finish off this paper. I promise I won’t post them!Til tomorrow….

Kaisercraft Tutle Dove 21,22,23,24,25,26!

I have been busy with Kaisercraft Turtle Dove 6″ pad and matching stamps and collectables. six to show today, four tomorrow, then I promise I will stop even though I still have lots of paper left . This collection was worth the money – it’s not often I make so much out of one collection – I usually lose interest or move on, but this paper is so inspiring I could just keep on going, but it’s possible you will all get sick of seeing it! The card on the top left was made using an image from a 12 x 12 sheet,as was the card next to it, all the rest were from my 6″ pad. The stamps that were released with this collection are great, and I have used them on a couple of the cards. Otherwise just added bakers twine, the odd button, liquid pearls, and ribbon to complete these ones. I am in the craft room today revisiting some old collections to make room in my shelves for the new releases that are due out at the end of this week.Til tomorrow….
