Prima has made magic with flowers since the founding of our company. We began manufacturing artificial, mulberry paper flowers for the floral and gift industry in the 90s. As our line developed, from full-size, natural-looking flowers to smaller, highly detailed miniatures, our flowers became popular with paper crafters world-wide. We continue to set trends with beautiful, boutique-quality flowers, along with innovative products which now include paper collections, coordinating embellishments, a full mixed-media line, mini-albums, home décor, paints, watercolors, and so much more.

Prima Forever Green number 5 and 6

Another two cards in my Prima Forever Green collection. Again everything used is by Prima, except for the cardstock and seam binding which are from Stampin Up. The background on the bottom card is actually from the packaging some of the Prima bits and pieces came from – it was too perfect to throw away!My goal for tonight is to reshelves all my books which are in a pile on the floor at the moment, so must get a move on before it gets too late! til tomorrow….

Prima forever Green number 2
Here I have layered some Prima forever green patterned paper onto a stampin Up ( calypso coral) card base, and fussy cut another piece from the same sheet for the greeting. A scrap of lace, and flowers, leaf ( which was white but I sprayed it with some fireworks spray) a fussy cut butterfly ( in the colection of papers there is a whole sheet just of butterflies which I fussy cut out) and bakers twine , all from prima gathered in a group at the bottom of the card. The flowers available from prima for this collection are gorgeous, ad I also bought a box of white leaves and the white daisies you see here because I can colour them to match whatever I am working on. Great value!I touched up the flowers with my Wink of Stella brush for a little sheen.Til tomorrow…
Prima Forever Green number 1..
Nathan and I have had a busy morning taking photos of all my recent makes so I am now ready to go!First up is the new Prima Forever Green series of patterned papers, and assorted matching bits and pieces. The only other company here is Stampin Up with their cardstock, sentiment stamp and ribbon. I have discovered a new toy! It is called Wink of Stella, and looks like a mascara but it has a brush on the end, and you know how I love kindyglitz, stickles.. any kind of shimmery bling.. well this is a more subtle application – it gives a shimmery appearance. you can see here I have used it on the flowers-on the image and the flowers down there in the left hand side. This is now a tool I keep in my absolutely need kit!Til tomorrow…..
Prima fairy rhymes vintage style 2
Here are two more cards I made with the watercoloured images ( a stampin up stamp and distress markers). This time I die cut a doily ( spellbinders I think) and die cut the image as well . I tied my seam binding in a triple bow – I used a bow maker to do this – no way would i manage that without it! and added lace and pearls to finish.I love this style, and could make these kind of cards all day long!Til tomorrow….
Prima Fairy rhymes Vintage style..
Thats enough of the male cards for a little while, it’s time for some vintage style!I did these ones a couple of weekends ago – I went through my stamps and stamped some images onto watercolour paper, then sat in front of the tv one night and did some watercolouring using my distress markers. the paper I have used here is Prima Fairy rhymes, and the stamp is an old Stampin Up one. I did lots of layering, and inked all the edges with Tea dye distress ink, and added some seam binding, lace and pearls.I kept all the colours subtle,to keep with the aged effect. Welcome to all my new followers, feel free to contact me if ever there is anything you need clarifying! Til tomorrow….

Here is another box and matching card using Prima Anna Marie paper and some prima flowers. The die cuts were made with spellbinders Enchanted Labels 28, and I just added a ribbon bow, and chipboard piece ( also from prima).Once I had die cut the large rectangle I stuck it onto a piece of patterned paper and fussy cut around it to get the different colour underneath. The flourish is by magnolia. I taught a lovely class of ladies this morning, then headed to the shops to replenish my cupboards, as I haven’t had time to shop since we got home from holidays. As usual my break has gone far too quickly and it’s back to work tomorow!Til tomorrow….
