A quick post today, as I am finishing off my last minute packing. This is a card and box, card on the left, Prima stationers desk, same as yesterday – hand sewn around the borders, and a piece of lace across the inner layer. The flower is made with the smallest size on the We are Memory Keepers flower board, and the brad is a stampin up vintage brad. I will be away from all my technological appliances for the rest of this week, so no posts until I get back on Sunday. Til then stay well, and we will catch up then!

Prima has made magic with flowers since the founding of our company. We began manufacturing artificial, mulberry paper flowers for the floral and gift industry in the 90s. As our line developed, from full-size, natural-looking flowers to smaller, highly detailed miniatures, our flowers became popular with paper crafters world-wide. We continue to set trends with beautiful, boutique-quality flowers, along with innovative products which now include paper collections, coordinating embellishments, a full mixed-media line, mini-albums, home décor, paints, watercolors, and so much more.

Prima Stationers desk number 1
A vintage style card today made with Prima Stationers desk paper and matching prima flowers. I handstitched around my papers, and added some lace, organza ribbon and a memory box flourish. The striped piece on the card is cut out using my memory keepers flower maker – I stopped at the first stage, instead of going on and folding it all up to make a flower – I liked the punched effect, just another way to use the flower board if you have one! Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft blubelle 12 x 12 paper, 6″ paper pad, and matching collectables. On the left is the card – I stamped a Prima Julie Nutting stamp onto some neutral paper, and cut out, and again onto patterned paper, and cut out the dress and put her back together.I added some collectable banners in the right hand corner with some ribbon, and added kaisercraft flowers in the lower right hand corner. On the right is the box, which I kept simple, making a flower using my stampin up blossom party die.the cardstock used is stampin up. I was missing yesterday as I haven’t been well – I am suffering from a cold, and feeling more than sorry for myself! Luckily the lemon tree has lots of fruit on it so I have been drinking lemon and honey drinks and that does seem to help a bit.Til tomorrow….

kaisercraft velvet crush and prima doll stamp 2…
Julie nutting prima Doll Stamp and Kiasercraft velvet crush.
I keep coming back to Kaisercraft Velvet Crush paper and collectables, but here I have teamed it up with my Julie Nutting Prima Doll stamp. I stamped the image on some websters pages paper that had the right colour for skin tone, and stamped it again on some velvet crush, and paper pieced it all together. That way all I had to colour was the hair. I am still learning the colouring technique, and here I used prismacolour pencils. These stamps are large so I made a bigger card – 21cm x 21 cm and then folded in half – that is called a DL size, and the envelopes are readily available ( they are the same size as those rotten bills come in!)i have another one to show tomorrow.Til tomorrow….
